I have many things to say 1. Whoever made this level I hate you 2. Why on earth they didn't put a fcking checkpoint in the invisible level 3. At least make mario immortal here (no 1up loss) like other badges level 4. I can't even jump in the void while I am visible How tf I'm supposed to do it while I am invisible??
I started crying the first time that I hit the Whacka too many times in the first game. I was 8 and I thought I killed it. Thanks Nintendo for having them leave instead of die. I still feel guilty but at least I didn't kill them.
Am I the only one who thinks version in a demo sounds diffrent than in a full game? I had only a demo for many years and when I oleyed the full game the track just sounded off to what I was used to
Really love the use of the word vanquished here, it means "conquer, subdue, overcome" not "destroy, obliterate, kill" so yes, the player does exactly that just in a form we aren't used to seeing. Evil is overcome, subdued, conquered not by perpetuating the cycle of cruelty and death but by stopping its root cause, in this case, as a hero to the villagers, our choice to spare him means that while we understand the villagers' plight, we also know that they won't learn a long term lesson by destroying him.
