I don’t care how good you imagine the camera is, it’s a micro 4/3… So in low light it will suck and the blacks will be noisy. If this was a full frame camera I would be buying it in a heartbeat. Micro fourth third sucks… Whether you believe that or not
Thank you. It wasn't a planned video so it was just my iPhone and cheap wireless audio. Plus, my excitement is genuine which does blow out the non 32 bit audio.
Current prices for the LUMIX GH5S and the LUMIX GH7 (without the ARRI LogC3) are only $100 difference on B&H Photo Video website. Having fewer but larger pixels than the GH5, the GH5S has dual-native ISO, wider dynamic range and very good low-light performance. I wonder if there will be a LUMIX GH7S with fewer but larger pixels (say, 18MP), even wider dynamic range (perhaps 14+?) and even better low-light performance (compared to the GH5S), and come with dual-native ISO? If the trade-off is no in-body image stabilization, I would still go with a GH7S.
I'm new to audio so I'm still learning. Recorded this NOT planned interview with the iphone 15 Pro Max and not with 32-bit float audio. Sean talked about 32-bit float audio while using a 48kHz/24bit wireless audio. I will not be using non 32 bit audio recorders ever again as I get way to excited and my voice really needs 32 bit float to bring down the gains. This was an iPhone recording so I apologize.
100% as my voice is very loud. I'm new to audio so I'm still learning. This video did not use 32-bit float audio. Sean talked about 32-bit float audio while using the LARK M2 microphone, which features a 48kHz/24bit audio format. I will not be using non 32 bit audio recorders ever again. This was an iPhone recording so I apologize.

I'm just an end user that gets way excited around new gear plus I was exhausted from three days at Cine Gear Expo. I hope you got something through my effort. Thank you for watching.
Any of these technical videos even just focusing on the Shogun, lighting and coloring gradients would and how to assess would be much watched!. There just isn't a lot of good content out there and you did a great job explaining the El Zone System!
I had ordered one that wasn't even delivered yet and while at the show in Vegas they were going to sell me a used one on the spot for 50 percent off. I was truthful and told me I had one on order that I would just return (unopened), then they were like, oh we cant sell you this one for a discount because you ordered one and will return it. WTH. So yea, customer service is TERRIBLE. Who does business like that??? I ended up returning the new one I ordered as well! No thanks!!!
@@WaltervanDusen that’s the dumbest thing you probably have ever said. A company should honor their word and not be money hungry pigs. I never had the product. Thanks for your terrible advice. You might be a great candidate to work for them.
You should in theory be able to use most lights with softboxes since you can add weight to the opposite side. I have never had an issue with not balancing the Cambo Redwing Boom.
I just got this camera but im terrified of the rolling shutter for video. in 8k its terrifying. At 4k its not very great either. what do you recommend to mitigate it and be able tog o handheld at 4k? enabling super 35 mode?
I suggest the Sony A9III with global shutter if you are recording fast moving subjects since rolling shutter is an issue for you with the A7RV. For me, I capture still portraits with the A7RV and love that it also captures decent video that matches up pretty well with my other Sony cameras.
Thank you. That was a lot of pressure having great audio with Mr Pro Sony Audio Andy Munitz. Thank you @pdmokry for helping me with learning to use DaVinci Resolve and getting me over the fear of learning a new program. Adobe Premiere is now far behind me and no longer in the rear view mirror.
