Hello! Welcome to my channel! It's all about Gaming, 4x4in, Off roadin and sometimes DIY. I make the videos in my spare time, but I try to upload a couple a week. I hope you enjoy my videos and if you do Subscribe!
Where I am in Ontario, Canada, tie rod ends come in two grades - one is about 9 bucks more expensive than the other. Be glad yours went in a parking lot and not on the freeway!
Jason do you have any specs on this bike. I have the same one but know nothing about it? It’s 196cc? And which torque converter did you end up getting?
I know this is an old video, but thank you for this video. I've been looking at a good way to add a rear suspension to my baja warrior. The stock suspension aka springs under the seat, all they do is launch your butt into the air on bumps
who else got anxiety when he couldn't find the right wrench? I'm an amateur but usually pretty good about eyeballing and finding the right size pretty quickly. Otherwise great video
My 2001 Lexus es front driver side outer tie rod snapped in half and made my brakes lock up so i just had a friend replace both the outer & inner tie rod and it runs fine no brake locking, but could that small problem really cause my brakes to lock up or maybe something else? Because im worried it might still do it, but so far its running fine.
I did the 2x4 e-track brackets on my camper conversion and too. You literally could just lay 1/2" plywood on top of the 2x4s and your bed will be plenty strong. You didn't really need to frame the platform and attach the plywood to it. My beds have been in place for over a year with zero issues. I did a series of videos during my build. I'll attach the video where I did my beds so you can see what I'm talking about. Cheers. It's sold by Action trailers but i do believe it's made by Forest River Trailers. It's a 6x12 with an extra 12 inches of height i do believe. It also has a 3500lb axle.
If you wanna modify your bed frame.. you can literally just run the 2x4s across on the e-track brackets and lay a piece of plywood on them. Thats how I did mine and it stays in place with no problem. No need to frame the platform. I did carpet mine and perhaps thats why it doesn't move around. If you want an example.. you can check out my build. There's a bunch of videos on my channel. Nice job on yours. Cheers.
That's pretty much what I had in mind. I just got an idea from one of your videos for my bed in the trailer. It should work perfect for what i'm doing. Thanks!
BONES 487 I initially planned to attach Velcro on the tops of the 2x4s to grip the carpet on the plywood platform. I figured that would hold it securely in place. But after test fitting everything, I realized it wasn’t necessary. The weight of the plywood sits securely on its own. Good luck. I’ll keep watching your progress. Cheers.
I had to do the same job earlier this week as my ball joint was completely worn out. I wasn't able to press the the ball joint out since I noticed on my 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 there were spot welds on the top. I ended up using a grinder to remove part of the ridge to get the top of the ball joint smooth to make pressing it out easier. It took much less time and installation of the new one was a breeze. I ended up replacing both the upper and lower ball joints which saved me a ton of money. You did a great job replacing yours. =)
Excellent Excellent, great video for first timers, love that you used no power/impact tools, i was gonna buy a used compressor, dont think i need one too. thank you..please keep it up!! best video on this process
Mine has jst popped out while parking at work today. Good thing the damn thing didn't pop out at road speed. The fault was mine for not changing it earlier even though I knew it popping and clicking for a while. It didn't have that much play, but appearantly it was just enough.
if you are gonna do all that crap to a stupid mini bike why the hell didn't you just buy one of the many small dirt bikes available??? Seems dumbass to waste time and money building something that is already available and still end up with just a stupid mini bike when you are done....
I watched this and it helped me immensely, only thing is I have a 2004 2WD vehicle, the front is the same but you can skip the driveshaft part. I bought a ball joint tool kit thinking it will come in handy. The tool needed to remove the old ball joint had to be modded because of the stamped steel spring assembly won't let it fit. Don't be afraid of grabbing the grinder and modify the tool not the spring assembly. If you don't have an impact make sure you have a decent length of pipe, you will need to cheat to get them to pop.
I have an 04 dodge ram 3500 SLT 4X4, my question is, do i have to buy the whole control arm assembly to replace my upper ball joints? Also, where can i buy the parts at?
Hey, so I have a cheap Monster Moto 80cc mini bike, is there anywhere I can get some cheap shocks for the front fork? I can't find anything anywhere that could replace the front fork of my mini bike with.
You could either get front forks off of a Minibaja or a Coleman mini. Or if you are hand enough to mod your forks to have regular coil over shocks. Online there are many pics of those type of fork setup, I've just never built any.
Nice setup. The lighting you described sounds like my rig. You see me going up and down the street from time to time. I have been thinking of putting a blower on one of my machines for a while, especially this winter as it's been really heavy.
Im literally dealin dealing with the same exact shit rn 😂i was parking and heard a loud breaking sound and my car was locking up n boom tire rod just hangin
