Oh man, I miss these days. I remember getting an unreleased Nirvana EP that had a song called Marigold. If only I still had it… Patrik played the song “Sunburn” by Muse before they’d ever released their first album, and I ended up preordering. This is before preorders were a thing for regular people. I also found Twin Peaks Fire Walk With Me on DVD here, and he preordered the first Dredg album Lietmotif for me. Those are just a few of the many good memories I have of this special time in my life. I used to cross a log over a creek near the greenbelt to get there before I could drive.
Met this talented man in a half way house, we where bunk mates for a couple of months and he was a gentle soul and smart person although not perfect, but nobody is. Sometimes life has no answers but I am glad we crossed paths and i will always tell people about that guy I met at the crossroads who played guitar like nobody I had ever seen before or since. Rest In Peace. Auf Wiedersehen.
None of you would help out if you did not have money to begin with. That is why you do it and that is because you got it to begin with. Your mouth is for it but your real inside is for yourself and your family. Just quit all of this and raise the supplement by averaging the cost of living and pay the citizens for their work. None of you would work for minimum wages or your children for long like millions have to because of the laws made by the capitalist using the poor to wax wealthy. Weep and howl all you rich Book of James.
These guys are the REAL DEAL! that which has been missing in the delushioned world of fake top 40 glossy country music - their presence and writing peaks an interest which has been missing in the veins of country music for many years. Their on stage powerful vocals and harmonies lend themselves to a combined soulful gesture of Travis Tritt, Marty Stuart, Steve Earl and Kidd Rock _ finally country music has come home to greet us with a giant hug!
I'm another CA'er planning to escape California in the next few years. I'm also a pastor, but in NorCal (Vallejo). Lord willing my wife and I will be visiting the area in the next couple of years, and I can see now that one of our stops will be at Sloopy's!
Annie keeps on being more soulful and speaking to the heart. The noise in this is dreadful, but I am sure she was doing this for her sponsors only. Keep on listening to her. She SPEAKS to the heart.
i am sick and tired of you trolls these men chased there dreams they have the elvis attitude unlike the cowards that never chase there dreams you elvis impersonators did a awesome job carry on forever i am so glad you are carrying on the elvis memory
Bluegrass Doo- wop! Captures the dedication us coal miners have to our profession. Start out with a weak mind and strong back and after 10 years you gotta Ph.d in mining and a blown back. lol. Love it fellers.
@1morningsun they were a couple until the band broke up with them. They struggled to love eachother for a long time. Then she went off and had a kid with another man and sam recorded an incredible solo album called the fake that sank a thousand ships about the break up. Which is amazing
