Speaking of no fuel, you know what else couldn't be refueled? Trucks. And trucks bring supplies to stores, so within a couple of days, every store shelf in the country would be totally empty, making causing about 90% of us to die of starvation, assuming that diseases from the lack of water and sewage systems doesn't kill us first.

The craziest thing eliminating electricity would do is millions of jobs overnight would be erased. All the work from home jobs, IT jobs, etc. So many jobs today wouldn’t exist without electricity. Then you’d have millions of outraged people who now have no income and are desperate.
This bit encompasses some of my thoughts on mankind. And having my own ideas of evolution is that we are relying too much on machines that consume energy. I read a story about a man meeting God on a train.."God" said there are many beings who control energy instead of consuming it. I've shared a similar notion for quite a while.. We are still beasts.
