I hear what you're say'n about #2 on the list I've owned my 2023 RT Daytona since the end of Feb 2024. I have less than 900 miles on it ( not my DD), and have dropped over $5K in accessories and mods so far. A 3:09 posi rear, catch can, over $ 2400 in custom rims, Mopar door sill add-0ns, all new chrome body emblems, BBK powder coated shorty headers, custom painted engine cover, custom floor mats, etc. Love this car!
@@DavidProductions345 definitely appreciate that, I'm gonna wire up a 15 and up steering wheel tomorrow I'll let you know how that works out because as far as I know only a 14 Durango steering wheel will work with ours which is the same as the 15 and up but I've heard you could remove the connectors and wire the wheel instead of using the connectors so do a little research on that and I'll let you know
@@DavidProductions345 also as as far as fuel readings go I read in the comments that it eventually just worked itself out I filled up this morning and then swapped the cluster it's still reading full I've only been about 10 miles but I'm wondering if it'll fix itself before I find myself stranded on side of the road, and mine keeps going back to sensor as soon as I boot the car up unfortunately I couldn't hit the button to engage the cluster swap because when I put my steering wheel back on I forgot to plug my buttons back up. So long stories short does the fuel thing work itself out or was there something you had to do? Is there a reason why it keeps going back to sensor off the rip?
The fuel thing worked itself out. If I remember I just filled up after. And drove and filled up again and it read fine. Also if your cluster isn’t between 15-17 you would have more issues with some little things not working as well.
Okay so you can swap but you’ll lose all your buttons. I know someone’s been trying to make a plug and play harness for it to work but I haven’t heard it working yet.
@DavidProductions345 dang that sucks i have a 14 rt max with adaptive cruise control and all the uconnect functions id hate to lose all of those controls, but the moment they figure it out im upgrading 🤣
@DavidProductions345 i would like that as well and if they found a way to keep the cd player working i don't use it often but I do have 3 old school cds i put in from time to time 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I’m struggling getting my RH cv axle out. My LH came out no problem. I’m going to try your technique. Did you have the cars LH side jacked up to when you pulled out the RH side?
For the srt8 front bumper/grill, is there anything specific i need to buy to install it, or will it just fit on the regular body by just swapping out the bumper/grill?
Honestly if I were you I’d get the bumper kit on eBay. It’s like around $750. Comes with everything you need. You just need to re-use the top plastic part from your old bumper and the plastic absorber piece behind the bumper as well. I made a SRT bumper video a few months back if you want to check that out. Also, fog lights are different so you need a 2504/5202 to h11 plug and play harness with h11 bulbs but that should be everything!
Hey man I know you’re talking about how it didn’t come with the paddle shifters why don’t you find a steering wheel with the paddle shifters and use the tazer to turn them on I’ve seen a bunch of vids doing that. I think you might even be able to do it with an upgraded wheel as well (15+ model) other than that nice vid im still deciding if i want to get a charger kinda different with kids and living in the Midwest (Chicago) it’d have be AWD for sure
Okay so I know I can get the paddles with another wheel but trying to find one with all the options mine has is hard. The heated option, with adaptive cruise buttons and all of that. Unfortunately as of now, the 15+ buttons on the wheel won’t work. You’ll be able to drive with the wheel but none of the buttons will work because it’s entirely different. I am in the market for paddles though! Also, a charger is a good family vehicle I heard, and the AWD definitely is an advantage.
This video is 👌🏾🤌🏾 fr. I'm a beginner not a mechanic at all, I followed this video step-by-step and was able to replace my radiator/cooling fan 💯 thank you for this great video and content 🙏🏾 and I saved money on labor COMPLETELY WORTH IT
Hey man I have the same car, I replaced front cv axles with AutoZone parts and it was perfect but when I did the back they sent me ones for a RWD saying it was the right one. I blew my diff and got a new parts car because I figured out dodge doesn’t have any AWD ones right now so I have to get some remanufactured from a junker. Just a heads up in case you run into this… rear knuckle is sold wrong from AutoZone too they aren’t deep enough to fit the correct cv… good videos man beautiful car too!
