can you take a water taxi from fantasy island to west bay???? is it to far??? how much for going there to snorkle for say 2 hours and then back to Fantasy. how long is the ride. cant find an answer anywere.
did you like it there? I read so many negative things about the place? thanks we are thinking of going. we went a long time ago to henry morgan but it's pretty expensive and I read that they changed owners and that now they have many localls partying there and that the new section is built were it was a swamp before and they have moskito problems ect... lol that's why Fantasy island is an option. how long by boat taxi is it to west end for snorkeling and how much does it cost? must be expensive thanks :)
I was one of the first guests to stay at the roton island Fantasy Island is great to stay there the food was excellent all back in the early 90s I need to go back there soon.
Watched both of your Camping videos today (March 26, 2020). Nice footage, clear images, wines looked good, foods looked yummy. I hope sometime in 2020 or 2021 my family can get back to Sandbanks and enjoy a few days. Though for us, "tenting it" no longer option but luckily lots of local motels, cottages etc to stay in. I thank you both very for sharing your trip on youtube. It was very nicely filmed. Hope you made lots of really good memories. God Bless. Hope you can produce more in future! :) :)
Upon viewing this video, it seems very obvious that your camera (maybe a GoPro8) has an amazing built in stabilizer, the footage is very clear! Looks like you both had a lot of fun. :):):)
My family and I went to this Park from 1975 - late 90's even into the 2000's. We (main family and I) camped in 2017 for one night. Due to massive rain storms & temp dropping we decided to leave early. The many lovely happy and awesome ventures we had there over 4 decades will never go away. I am very glad you could share your video memories with us - I Thank You! Glad you filmed it in HD. Hehe any provincial park looks better when shot in HD :) :)

Don't know where these people visited, but we were here Christmas week on a cruise 2019 and OMG what a dump!!!! The smell of sewage, rats in the parking lot, place looks as though it was built in the 60s and has never seen any maintenance. Entrance protected by a log chain, and a rotted rickety wooden bridge crossing a creek. Our experience SCARY!!! Went on the snorkeling tour....got on the boat and never went into the water. Old life preservers that you blow up???? Ever heard of sanitiser??? How many mouths have been on that thing.
A Craven too bad you couldn’t enjoy the real life on the ground ;) Roatan is an amazing island 🌴 one of the tops destinations in the world for diving ! For sure on a cruise 🚢 it’s hard to see all the true nature !
@@juliec2991 I think I must reply Julie. I believe that our experience was due to where our cruise line Dumped us off. MSC took us to an obviously different area from what we have seen on you tube and elsewhere. Perhaps my comments were too harsh from the true beauty of the island. After all, what would my thoughts have been if i was dropped on Chicago's south side had i no knowledge of the true area. Thank you for calling me out on this one.
Salut Bébou, Water Taxi coûte $3/person mais ils vont entre west bay pis west end. Si tu veux aller jusqu’au Fantasy Island il faudra leur demander le prix. On peut voir des singes sur le resort parfois et le nom du parc est Gumbalimba Park. Bon Voyage :)
Philippe Comeau la propreté est un grand mot je n’y ai pas pensé avant mais en général c’est correct mais pas comme à la maison ça dépend de ton degré de tolérance :)
Love the video me and my girlfriend were suppose to go down there but with all the deaths happend the hotel cancel are trip. Would u recommend that its safe down there. Were thinking about going back next year
We were there shortly after the recent events in DR and felt no danger whatsoever! Just be aware of your surroundings, don't drink alcohol from the mini bar in room, use common sense and you should be just fine. Book your trip and have fun!
22Alex22 Investments It really depends on the type of vacation you’re looking for. If you like to party and don’t mind loud music at night, I would recommend. The beach is long with big waves, food is good - great selection, many pools and bars. Overall good value for $$. We asked for a quiet room when we got there and they gave us a room next to the main entertainment, so music was heard until 2:00am. Make sure you ask to see the room before you decide. Hello Julie Stewart and thanks for your comment! We loved the Media Luna Resort & Spa. So much, that we went back to Roatan in February but stayed at the Fantasy Island Resort (video will be posted soon - stay tuned), as the Media Luna was all booked up. Our next trip to Media Luna will be in February 2020. Looking forward to seeing all the renovations. Cheers :)
