other than the thruster and detonator, I agree with the rest of the list. Thruster is a pretty terrible weapon all things considered since losing out on a damage secondary weapon on pyro hurts so much as secondaries are essentially pyro's main source of damage. It's funny you mentioned that airblasting and comboing are so important on pyro (which i agree) yet you proceeded to put the thruster in A tier even tho that thing kills your combo potential. Not only that but it's so loud that even pulling that thing out can be heard from miles away and you're so predictable while you're in the air that any competent player will just drop you before you even land. As for the det, it's a very underrated secondary and if you ask me, it may be his most skillful secondary as it takes time to learn how to time the explosion and how to pull off det jumps. However if you are able to do that the det gives you both great combo potentials and good mobilities. It's literally meta in highlander so im extra shocked that you put it only in C. Anyways I'd definitely switch the placement of the det and the thruster. Other than those 2 the list is pretty good. Although I'd bump the gas passer to F since outside of MVM it has 0 uses. It takes a fat minute or 750 damage to do something that your primaries and your flare gun can do much more efficiently at much less efforts. I would also perhaps bump the manmelter to C since it does have its uses if the other team has a pyro that's really good at lighting your teammates on fire and it's also the best flare gun against other pyros since you can hit a crit flare without lighting ppl on fire first. But yeah it is niche and requires someone on the other team to play pyro (which is not something you can control) to work, which makes it underpowered.
I played my first highlander and it was a mix that was going to start in 15 mins and they needed 1 more pyro player. searched up this video right after the game 😂 (I kept leaving our combo but still managed to W+M1 4 guys with a flank and my team was laughing their asses off.
I’ve seen low prem high d1 I can confidently say high advanced is better at coordinating if you wanna argue talents more spread in eu I would agree. But I watched eu teams at prem to top d1 hl take 6 man Ubers kinda retarded shit
I'll try to upload two videos from each week for the rest of the season, sadly a lot of my upward recordings from this week were corrupted for some reason or they were really bad scrims.
level designer here! its a competely original layout i built from the ground up, the boss is designed for the map and the map is designed for the boss :) the reason it looks like its best of one on the hud is cuz valve messed something up, we dont know whats wrong yet.
7:52 how tf you say it was a facestab to that bro , just stop saying facestab to everysingle backstab, its not even make sense after all these years. and you saw that he was disguised as scout and he was moving slow than a scout but you still not checking him, and you are a "competitive" player duh.
Judging by some HL VOD I watched of you, your pyro playstyle is a bit more spammy than mine (on both flames and airblast) For example, I tend to do lots of little puffs to spycheck where you do big sweeps of flame I usually only reflect when I'm with my combo/engie gear or defensively when running from a 1v1 with sol/demo You tend to stick closer to the front-line/combo while I cycle between flank/backline/front I view Backburner as basically an upgrade to stock and think I understand why you rate it so much lower I also think people buy into the mythos of the backburner too much - try playing BB as if it's stock ie mostly support, opportunistic small flanks, selective aggression, not going all out to make some crazy crit play I mostly get crits from fleeing/distracted enemies or very small flanks
