Just a hott mess momma of three over here making dreams happen! Reseller for fun, social media entrepreneur for the career. I use this channel to share my reselling journey in hopes to help others find success too!
I’m surprised Tea resells well for you! I have some things I think are so cute and can’t seem to sell them! I also feel like they don’t hold up well, so they look worn fast.
Great quick haul! Jaws brings back a quick memory….when my husband and I were on our honeymoon in the Bahamas they were filming Jaws 2…..it was fun to watch.
My theme park days are over but waaay back when I sure loved the Jaws 🐋 ride, the old King Kong flying tram ride (with the Big Head photo op in the gift shop) 🐵and of course, BTTF. 💔
@@corinne_momof8 I got mine over 3 years ago now so I’m sure prices are all over the place. I paid around $300 on sale. They also have on Amazon but mine is from B&H. It’s a 6 foot. I would definitely shop around!
@@AmandaPruitt I started reselling in January and we are moving in a couple weeks and I'll finally have an inventory room. So I'm trying to find ways to make listing and photographing easier.
@@corinne_momof8 it’s a photograph supply company my husband has used in the past and they happened to be cheaper than Amazon at the time. And yes before my light box I only did flat lays and that’s what I was using. Piece of MDF with contact paper on it.
I hit OUAC yesterday and they had all sandals on sale for $1. They hadn’t been clearance just a “flash” sale to move them out. There was a great selection and we racked up!
Ive found another hidden spot for me to source clothing and shoes from is my local Amazon bin store. Most is cheap no name brand clothing and shoes but every week i find a few good brands and my store has clothing at 3 for $12 at the start of the week and it goes down from there and shoes are 3 for $20. I got today Ariat boots, Harley Davidson boots and Brooks and New Balance sneakers there.
Nice! Ours used to be so good but the few near me keep drastically increasing the prices. When it was $1-$5 I found so many amazing things!! Once I found a pair of Capezio lyrical shoes that I literally had in my amazon cart in my daughters size, a total one off item, for $1. Best find!
Happy to find out I’m not the only mom having my son to sleep in during vacation. My son is 18 and doesn’t get up until after 2pm. He stays up late all night playing Roblox if I don’t check on him. Can’t be mad as he programs some games on the platform hoping to publish his games. I’m just upset because I wish he was doing all the programming during the day and went to sleep at decent time but it’s so hard. I fall asleep early. Love your finds ❤
Yeah I just remember as a kid the best part of summer was no bedtimes and sleeping in so I try and give some grace. But I am ready for our back to school schedule to start!
@@AmandaPruitt You're going to be getting a lot of random comments from me as I make my way through your videos from newest to oldest. Brace yourself. Ha!
man! i'm glad you only had $15 into that, i wouldn't have wanted to put more than like $10 into it 😂😂😂 i would've been so upset if i paid regularly price and got that! wow
@@thriftinlindsey thankfully I had a few things to list that were new. This is one I might do an update later on since I listed them the day the video went up.
@@jensberg2 you literally just sign up for a free business account and they have a whole selection of free packing items. It’s just like the free section on usps website! I only order labels but they have lots of other things. Just double check the size/type. Before I got my thermal printer, I was ordering the type that you just stick in your printer, which are a different size. And they have rolls or stacks, you definitely don’t want a roll. 😂
Don’t ever apologize for not doing your hair and makeup. I’m sure most of us here are busy moms who don’t have the time or energy to doll up for some random people on the internet.
@@ericafaulhaber9485 oh my gosh, thank you so much for this comment. I literally just sat down on the floor in my office and looked at the pile I am photographing and thinking that I have done nothing today even though I have.
Was on a cross country trip last 2 months I went to at least 25 Goodwills (not bins) everyone of them had prices through the roof. Like you said tons of Dollar Tree items for more than you can buy them new. What is happening?
@@davidmiller800 they must be making a lot of money from the bins by the pound and those prices keep in pricing two is all I can figure. But I have to imagine the amount that’s making it to landfills is insane.
@@catgodfrey6451 thank you! My goal is to get to the point where I have such little inventory at home that I need to list stuff more quickly. Eventually 😅
@@theteenreseller yes!! Saves so much money!! Make sure you don’t order the roll, did that once but my girls enjoyed crafting with them. You want the ones that lay flat.
@@lindafrank2135 they pick up!! I asked him once and he LOVES my giant mailbox. (Cheap at Lowe’s!) he prefers that over having to get out and walk up my long driveway if I scheduled one. So long as your packages fit in a mailbox you don’t need a scheduled pickup.
@AmandaPruitt Yeah you would think but my mailperson won't take them unless I schedule a pickup Right there in front of him and pushes it to the side to put my mail in
Woohoo 2 more totes down 😊❤😊 I’ll like watching what you do with each item I learn so much. I have zero luck @ Plato’s. I took great brands they bought none, but I saw Walmart brand being sold. I’d ❤ the Club Pilates clothes
It is frustrating at any BST to see junk on the hangers and then have them not take your things. They do have computer systems that tell them how many items of each size and category are in stock. So it goes back to whomever bought those crummy items that arent selling to make room for better stuff. I have found selling to them, specifically Plato's, AFTER they do their huge clearance sales is best. They clear out the crap.
thanks!! I will definitely profit with my super low price for the box - possibly break even if I had paid full price. so keeps me motivated to keep sending TU the crap they send me back for credits to slowly add up haha
thanks for the view!! and for making it. I DID sell the carhartt pants and made $40 but not sure if I will even list anything else. Threw most away and gave my son a few throw down lounge things. such a disappointment!
I so agree that the sold videos are important! I see many resellers who do videos & share what they buy but won't share what has sold & for what PRICE instead of what they say in video it will sell for. It doesn't always sell for what they state. Great sales girl!!
I totally agree! And I have seen a few where ALL of their sales are $50-$100 and up but they don't tell you that they PAID a ton for the item in the first place. So profits are the same as my little old $20-$40 sales.
Gosh. How this company stays in business is beyond me. And any affiliates should be ASHAMED. They know it is straight garbage. I had some decent luck with their NWT stuff years ago but secondhand is so bad.😢
@@retrobydestiny1030 💯 they must literally get the junk for free somewhere so they still profit when every now and then they get someone like me who throws a fit.
i always randomly see bamboo sleeper type things at the bins, but i never knew if i should grab them or not. might have to grab them if they're in good condition!
@@thriftinlindsey definitely! And honestly brand doesn’t matter - some of course will bring more like Little Sleepies & Posh Peanut but they will all sell! Even if there’s a bit of wash wear bc that’s normal and makes them even softer.
