Welcome to my channel! This is largely a documentation of my journey through music mastering so I apologize if some of my earlier content doesn't compare to my more recent efforts. My mastering setup has evolved in many regards over the years, but I have continued to use the Reason DAW from Propellerheads for all of my work.
I've decided to publish the template project I use in Reason on my github (github.com/brianmartens/DM9) with MIT License. I'll be updating the README with additional information, but I've left some basic details for now. The required plugins are expensive, I know, especially FabFilter, but they're what I've settled on using.
Please feel free to reach out to me if you want to collaborate on a project or if you just want to chat. I would love to graduate from just doing RU-vid.

Have we become this sick? Shame on me for reading people’s minds on comments. I’m the one that can change being this pathetic. I apologize to myself for straying into this world of fantasy. It’s a song, a song that lost my interest once sober.
Black Sabbath is the only Heavy Metal band that I like. "War Pigs" is the best Heavy Metal song that I've ever heard. What makes Black Sabbath stand out from all the other Metal bands that I've heard is the rhythm section. Geezer Butler is the best Metal bassist that I've heard. Drummer Bill Ward brilliantly fills up the gaps and pauses. Good musicians. An outstanding song. Tops.
You've got some good stuff Brian I have got great memories of this song like a friend at the time doing a great impersonation of Sting with an imaginary guitar ( no not a plastic one lol)☮️☮️☮️🎸🏴🏴
14 guitar overdubs in the studio, and Jimmy can still make it sing live. I bought this album when I was 11 years old. I'm 60 now and I still have that record..
3 chords. Over and over again. So unbelievable what a little distortion and vibrato can do with 3 basic chords. And of course a great voice and lyrics.
Lyrics - We've done four already but now we're steady And then they went: One, two, three, four" Singing in the sunshine, laughing in the rain Hitting on the moonshine, rocking in the grain Got no time to pack my bags, my foots outside the door I got a date, I can't be late, for the high hopes hailla ball, uh uh, uh uh, yeah Singing to an ocean, I can hear the ocean's roar Play for free, I play for me and play a whole lot more, more! Singing about the good things and the sun that lights the day I used to sing on the mountains, has the ocean lost its way I don't know, oh oh, yeah' Ooh, yeah Sitting round singing songs 'til the night turns into day Used to sing about the mountains but the mountains washed away Now I'm singing all my songs to the girl who won my heart She is only three years old and it's a real fine way to start Oh yeah! It sure is fine! Ah blow my mind! When the tears are goin' down! Yeah! Yeah, yeah Oh so, oh so, oh so good! Oh so good!
I noticed this song alternates between keys. It seems like throughout most of the track it's in G-Major, but there are brief sections that are in D-Major From 0:00 - 1:05; 1:18 - 2:14; and 2:54 - 4:45, it's all in G Major But then from 1:08 - 1:18; and 2:17 - 2:54 it's in D Major
I am 63 and so thankful that I was to see them in concert and I still have my t shirt. As I collected over the years. I'm glad I saved them Some I would sell. Most are med.and some large.
i strongly believe this is the best art piece made in music so far. it goes beyond all barriers art could face. a build up of different tones, multiplayers of sounds, repetitions, yet constant background. i mean... nothing expresses enough how mesmerising this is.
Im 35 years old and every time i hear this im reminded of being in the back of my dads car going somewhere, and i can still smell Marlboro smoke and the smell of beer . Thanks for the awesome childhood old man
Definitely the definitive masterpiece. With his opinion, Reznor was very humble "handing the song over" to Cash, but his own version is infinitely better.
