Dramione.... No I wont hate on it but I honestly dont get it. And I dont really like it. But I have manacled so maybe I will try with it one day. And until then I will return to jegulus and drarry and regulus hating James for 10 years..... and yes I still dont call that an enemies to lovers. I have really high standarts for enemies to lovers. Reylo is enemies to lovers for example.
Haha, that's exactly what happens to me when I tell my husband about my books. I sometimes feel like a weirdo when I give him the synopses, because if you only like realistic books, they all sound very weird 😅😅😅🤷🤷🤷, but not everyone can like the same thing.
Me: Oh, I mean, this is a good place to stop... But how bad can one more page be? The next page: And the villain captured the love interest Me: *glances at my clock knowing I should have went to bed 2 hours ago* I'ma read another page anyways.
I can agree with all of those except the age gap one. Don’t get me wrong I hate real life age gaps like 5 years is pushing it. But I just choose to ignore it in romantasy because I’m like a hopeless romantic 😅
I just turn the series so you can see the full front cover of the first book, and everything is stacked behind. It makes the shelf more interesting too! Many of my books are multicoloured anyway though, so there'll be a pop of one colour in a section of another colour and if a series isn't long enough to turn it like that, I just pick the most common colour in the books like I would with a single book.
If you liked the book Malice- I just found out that the same author released another book The Crimson Crown this year, which is a queer retelling of the queen/witch from Snow White. Haven’t read it yet, but wanted to share!
Another note on enemies to lovers for me is that if they are 'enemies to lovers', I need them to actively be ENEMIES. If your lives aren't on the line (either actually trying to kill each other or being on opposite sides of the war) are you actual enemies?
OMG YOU GET IT!!! YES. I'm a writer and I HATE animal sounds, I HATE weird age gaps (hence why I write immortal romances). I also hate love triangles but that's a whole other can of worms
I was gonna go off about how enemies to lovers is one of my favorite tropes but then I immediately stopped and agreed. they need to HATE. each other beforehand. I need to FEEL THE RIVALRY against one another.
You’re lucky you don’t like reading. I’ve spent more money on books than I can count. I bought a 600 riyal kindle for goodness sake . And I barely got any sleep last night because I was busy reading and was tired at school
@@Daughter_of_posiedon11 Get a library card, if you have a library in your area! I recently got one and omg I’ve been reading so much (to be fair, only one of those books was a library book, but whatever)
The Folk Of Air series is REALLY good for the enemies to lovers. They literally hate each other for a whole book and then teeter on not hating to hating
I didnt think I would like the Hobbit because it wasn't action packed- "violent," like The Lord of the Rings. I ended up loving the Hobbit even more. Just dive in! The waters warm.
