Hello! The C3 was adopted by the Dutch Army and Air Force in 1976. The Navy and Marines adopted the S6 instead in the late 1970s. Sometime the Marines did use the C3 as well strangely.
Spelling correction on the intro its maandag and not mandaag but yeah great video i love it you made me be able to get my uniform to be very accurate thanks for that
Loop on British 37 Pattern was stopped mid war as part of economy drive as also seen in change from all brass fittings to L Strap attachment straps just being webbing and other fittings being of sheradised steel. On Water bottle canteen hanger hook you've attached via the front of the belt, you should of attached via the back, otherwise those bits of metal are likely to end up jabbing and injuring you as you run. Otherwise interesting presentation, well done.
@@TheSoldierinus the M53 Troepenhelm is a copy of the US M1, it is designed predominantly to protect from pistol calibres and shrapnel, not a direct hit from a large calibre rifle round
Haha nice vid..took my back to my "dienstplicht"..18 year old an drafted for 14 month of national service..89-6 44 panser infanterie bataljon "Johan willen Frisso " C -OST Compagnie 120mm mortieren ( Charlie OnderSTeunings )
Nice video, .but the nesbit cooker came after the cold war....that came around mid 90 together with the camo gear ....some had camo and still a lot had the green "vlaggetjespak" as "we" calld it
Hello great video, I was wondering could you advise me on the parts necessary to carry the field pack. I have the rubberised small pack and I know you need x2 L straps but iam not sure what else.
Thats all you need.....on the front of the L straps are hooks that is used to hook up the sleepingbagroll ....its shitty but is was the way we used it up till mid 90
@@DOSReenactment thank you very much. I already have the M78 but the M75 looks dope as well so maybe ill buy it later. Thanks very much for the response, and again, cool uniform
Most of the webbing equipment in this video is from a PSU Goederenzak belonging to an individual that served in 12e Afdeling Artillerie. Our suggestion would be to visit legerdumps or search on Marktplaats for these items.
Hi great video Inwas wondering whereabouts in the UK you are based, as i would be interested in joining, i will be attending the next event at Hack Green next month. Highly recommend attending btw. Anyway really interesting kit compared to the usual European armed forces at that time. Cheers Nathan.
Hi Nathan, we are planning to attend Hack Green at some point next year. Our group leader has attended the event before. We are mostly based on the south coast, around the Brighton/Worthing Area, but we have members in Kent & Birmingham too. Our next shows we will be attending are Military Odyssey (25th-28th August) and Hogmoor Enclosure (24th September). You're more than welcome to email us dosreenactment@gmail.com or drop us a message on our FB page.
I really enjoyed this, I'm planning a video looking at the M53 helmet soon so I shall link to this video when it comes to talking about attaching camouflage.
Small correction, only on a detail of 1937 Pattern, the braces did originally have a loop to link the braces where they crossed in the small of the back, it was later deleted post war.
