Is it normal for the hot water spout to create that much steam when pouring for an americano or long black? That amount of steam seems excessive but I’m new to these types of machines.
@MrKaipay Thanks for watching our video and for the question. Yes, the Machine needs to be plugged in for this process. Start with the machine powered off, ensuring the power switch on the bottom left is in the down position. Next, raise the brew lever all the way up. To activate pre-infusion, move the three-position switch at the bottom of the machine to the middle (position two). Now, turn the machine on. You should see the version number 1.05 displayed, followed by "PI" for pre-infusion, indicating that pre-infusion is ON. To deactivate pre-infusion, move the three-position switch to the back (position three) and then back to the center. The display will show "off." To turn it on again, move the switch to the front (position one) and return it to the middle. The display will show "on," confirming pre-infusion is active once you power down and restart the machine. Finally, to exit, turn the machine off, lower the brew lever, and you're all set! If you have any additional questions or need support, don't hesitate to ask.
Hello and thank you for this video, which is always excellent. I have a few questions if I may. 1/ Is the extraction unit the Rossi model, the same as found on the Lelit PL41plus for example? 2/ Is it possible to reduce the extraction pressure during extraction, for example to lower it at the end of the shot? 3/ How low can the extraction pressure be reduced? 4/ The height between the spout of the filter holder and the grid seems low. Is there room for a scale if you need to use the spout for 2 cups? 5/ Do you know if Profitec is going to release a model with a stainless steel boiler like other models? Thanks for your help.
let me try to answer some of these 1/ yes 2/ no you cant adjust the opv while pulling a shot (not advised by profitec as you can blow up your machine lol) 3/ you can lower the pressure upto 7bars 4/ the height between the spout and drip tray is 3 inches so yess its difficult to place a scale and a cup but not impossible, a bottomless porta filter will resolve that issue (then you get 4inches of space in-between) 4/ i dont think so they will, the GO is selling like hot cakes everywhere (including in my 3rd world country) so i dont think there will be anymore updates in this machine for atleast 3-5 years
I bought it just today. I had Krups automatic machine. For me it's steps beyond. I can still make my latte or cappuccino very easy with gigh quality. So far I really enjoy to play with this machine and make coffe. Thanks for video it helped me a bit.
Thank you for the video. Its great. The one question I have is how does the Profitec handle multiple shot servings back to back? Does it take a long time to reset boiler temps for the next shot serving? I am concerned about hosting a small party and having to do 6 espressos one after another and have long wait times in-between. Also, I would love to see you do a review of the CREM ONE PROFILER Dual Boiler Espresso Machine. I am either going to buy the Profitec Drive or the Crem ONE PROFILER. The Crem ONE seems to have a quick reset after a shot and it has profiles you can program in the machine.
3:00 is it really amazing? Lelit is selling Anna for 500€ with PID and this costs 950€. Its 2024 and not 1961 anymore. PID costs like 10€ to the manufacturer when they buy in bulk. Machines costing 700-900 without PID just that they could justify their more expensive models
@stefanfoster9384 it's not about lelits build quality but about a fact that ecm classika had PID like 12 years ago and now 500€ machines have it. So a top of the line single boiler having it at 1k price is not "amazing"
Hello and thank you for this presentation, all your presentations are very well done! two boilers... Is it possible to switch on only the coffee boiler and, if so, how long do you have to wait before you can make a good cup of coffee (bearing in mind that you'll have to heat the cup first)? Have you tested the temperature stability? Thank you for your help.
Love this channel. I buy coffee beans here. Bought my espresso machine here and was very disappointed. All the times I tried to ask questions that interested me, I never received an answer. It feels like they sold you and forgot about you forever. Sad. So think carefully before buying expensive equipment.
This really seems to be the king of grinders .... Trying to decide between this one and the E80S since their prices are similar. Everyone says the 80mm burr size makes for a better separation of flavours
Can’t decide between ECM, Profitec, or Rocket. Thankfully I have a lot more time to decide bet I have the cash to upgrade. I’m really looking forward to the Profitec Move. I wish more video reviews were out about it!
Both ECM and Profitec and GREAT choices. We have one of the Profitec Move espresso machines that just arrived and we will be filming a review of this machine soon. I can let you know once that video review is produced and uploaded. Thanks for watching and let us know if you have any questions or need support while doing your espresso machine research!
Hi Slavic, I have a quick question. Has Moccamaster done anything this past year to deal with and make improvements with this grinders static issues I was considering this machine as we have two of the mocha Master Brewers a KBT 741 as well as a KBGV Brewer, holding down the button while it grinds is definitely a pain but dealing with all that static and the mess every day is definitely a dealbreaker. I hope they have made improvements. Thank you in advance for your response.
That touch screen is the most frustrating aspect of this machine. The refresh rate is in single digits and for a machine that costs $1900 AUD it's unforgivable. To that point, it really highlights your bias, this is the first video of yours that I have ever seen and I will be selecting to not have RU-vid show me further recommendations from your channel. I'm not interested in listening to another infomercial.
@ThatHz Yes you certainly can utilize this equipment to infuse vodka, gin or anything you can imagine as long as the liquid is not carbonated. We have seen a recipe for a coffee infused bourbon used to craft a different spin on the classic “old fashioned” beverage. We plan to produce a subsequent video to explore these kinds of applications in the near future. Thanks for watching the video! Let us know if you have any other questions.
