I trim the headlight area because there is some factory mold line that's look unpleasant, so what I will do is I will trim and apply putty if it is necessary
Pretty amazing to watch. Im also curious how tomica’s plastic headlights and taillights are attached, ive never taken apart my die casts before but ive noticed some with wobbly, loose plastic parts. Since you have experience customizing, can you share how they are put in place and if there is a risk of them falling out? Thanks!
Thank you for the support. Based on the scenario described, I would say there is a risk for you to remove without using the proper way. You may cause damage on the plastic eventually yet it is very promising if you able to remove it as there will be more room to custom since both of them are remove. On top of that, you may use certain specific glue to attached it back to the original location without causing any wobbly (I have tried it and it works). I may include this part on the future video, hence stay tuned. 😬
@@KHGarageinallplatform thank you for the detailed reply, appreciated it! I hope you would make some videos showing how the plastic headlights are attached inside, and maybe even customizing it, removing it and reattaching it. So far there are no videos on youtube for customizing, repairing plastic headlights. Cheers!
Personal preference bro, some casting released by tomica yet inno doesn’t has it. On top of that the pricing wise also different…that’s my thought of it ✌️👊🏻

This is the best hot wheels R34 GTR custom out there, great job, I'll use this video as something to help myself with restoring my quite damaged R34 GTR
Yes you can, but it is better to look for another drill bit that larger than 2.5 for secure purposes. Because sometimes that rivet hard to come out if you drill it all the way with just 2.5 mm. Hope this tips help you ya ~ cheers 😎
