This is exactly going on with our country, amazing song that resonate the status of America. I think everyone should take a sip of coffee and come down.
dude.. this is rare. musician myself for 38 years and first time seeing one can drum Neil Peart and sign Geddy Lee in the same time. you totally earned my respect.
I imaging there are tens of thousands out there are coalminer descend, I am the 4th generation, my dad never worked in coalmine but we still lived in the land where used to be my granddad's dorm next to the coalmine. Government did grant all the miners to use and ownership of the land they reside.
The coalmines were hundre times worse than the sweatshops that we all know. It was hardship and hazardous to health. Countless people vanished working in the mine.
My father was a coal mine worker in Italy, he told me that everytime he enters the mine, he is ready to face any fatal accident. I am glad that we no longer need coal to generate the majority of power we consume. It was sure a great tragic for many lives and families back in the old days.
I really like this sound of this. I got two uncles that were coal miners. Tough work and hard life they had, but both got their compensation from the state, thank god.
Everytime I get stuck with something or someone, I will get a coffee, heavy if needed. I can't say how coffee solves problems, but it helps me to avoid being negative.
Sometimes when i run into issues with someone, a cup of joe normally helps. Coffee isn't magic, but it does open mind up a bit and spell things out. Great song.
