Ed was too good with his speech. China, I believe was quite aggressive especially the second speaker. Arthur kinda messed up. He lacked content a bit I think!
Can't England just argue that rehabilitation can be considered an option among many? Why did they argue like the debate was about rehabilitation vs prison?
Why are people in this comment section being so uncivilized? Respect all the debaters here, it takes A LOT of guts and skills to represent their nations in the WSDC. If you said some things people in this comment section have written, you'd be kicked out of any professional debate for equity violations.
Yeah I feel like that happens a lot in the comment sections of WSDC, especially compared to uni debate videos. Maybe it’s a combo of slightly immature kids watching + entilted parents. England’s a good team, they made finals last year and their first speaker got to WUDC semis the next year. Weird to treat such accomplished debaters like this
nothing to be proud of this 👲🧔🏿. i would rather support indonesia which represent their indigenous than rhis chnes eindia. shame to malaysia not bringing bumiputra debaters
English is third language in Indonesia, so they should not contest Malaysia in debate. But I'm proud of Indonesian representatives. You guys did the best.
@@harrishkrishna5086 each communities in Indonesia have their own languages, for example javanese speaks javanese, as well as sundanese, betawi, bataknese, madurese, balinese, etc. Yes, the national language is bahasa Indonesia
very ashame malaysia being represent by chinese and indian apunene. where're the majority race? there're many talented bumiputra debaters why dont bring them? this is MALAYsia ppl wanna see the indigenous represent our country.
@@nairamubarak8905 For example, prison costs more money than rehab as it's literally giving free food and shelter. It's also not a long term solution to saving money, and with each increasing prisoner, the government has to use more and more money. So how on earth is that saving money?
@@panko6779 i don't think England could argue that since they were in favor of prisons over rehabilitation but presumably rehab was more expensive with the cost of counselors etc i still think side prop's argue argument on how rehab reduces the people that go to prison which in the long run would actually save money for the government
Easier said than done, someone from the audience can def come up with rebuttals rather than facing the pressure up front. Oh and trust me, the fact that you're one of the audience, you wouldn't know how they would rebut your points, which they def would. Respectfully.
@@Landolangi27 from what I can see Malaysia can deliver their arguments very well, they didn't just simply read the text and they are very confident. They don't talk too fast so that the argument could be delivered clearly.
@@adadisini2898 are you blind and cant read, everyone has their own opinion. I said on my comment in my assessment. So, even Malaysia won on this debate well congratulations for them. But for me personally, Indonesia won. We can not mention one by one and write what they have said on the speech that is too long.
Malaysia is a multiracial country. There are malay, chinese, indian and other races. All of us are Malaysian.Nationality is not the same as race.Like US,there are Arabs, blacks, whites, indians, chinese and etc. In this debate, the Malaysian team consists of chinese and indian debaters. You can see Malaysia flag on their table. Hope this can help you so you do not confuse.
