I teach people how to improve their personal finances, with realistic tips and tricks that I have actually tried first myself.
Money is the #1 cause of stress, and more money in the bank doesn’t eliminate your problems, BUT it does give you the financial freedom to focus on other things in your life. The solution is simple, but not easy: Increase income + decrease spending. Easier said than done, right?
Here’s where I come in. There are so many personal finance “gurus” posting videos about vague, general things, that they have never ACTUALLY tried themselves. On this channel, you will learn how to make money with side hustles that actually work, and how to save money with things like DIY home projects instead of hiring someone else, and I ONLY post about things that I have already done myself.
If this sounds like what you’re looking for, I would love for you to join this growing community of people on the path to financial freedom!
My influencer account was closed today, not affiliate. I re-applied for the influencer program today and got in- saw all my old videos and stats but am confused- the commissions history is shown as zero. what does it mean? I was banned for having the amazon logo in the cover image of a YT video so I took the cover images down and the videos themselves- not worth it to me.
@@stephaniemthoma did we recently talk about this in a Facebook group? Someone posted that they lost their account, and that Amazon vaguely mentioned it was because of something with using their marks. 1: You have been approved to get back in the program, but I’m assuming you’ve still gotta get re-approved for the onsite placement. If so, those videos aren’t being shown, so may just need to remove them and repost once you get onsite approval. 2: As I understand it, you are completely allowed to use the Amazon logo in thumbnails because it falls within fair use laws. However, they don’t want you using it for anything that may make it seem like Amazon posted it, or that it’s being endorsed by Amazon, which is why you can’t use it on ads, or even use particular Amazon phrases, buttons, etc on posts/ads.
@@sagesparrow3989 they say that because that’s what goes on inspire and what they can run ads on. What’s best for product page is still horizontal videos that provide valuable info to the customer (1 minute+ in my opinion). I’m always of the belief it’s best to do 2 videos of each product: 1 horizontal that’s 1 minute+ to try to get on the product page, and 1 vertical less than 1 minute to try to get on inspire.
@@agentalexcamp Thank you! Your reply was very helpful. So you'll upload both video reviews (one horizontal, one vertical) of the same product to your storefront?
Crazy question! I was approved for the Influencer program (YAY!) BUT I used a new Amazon account to apply. (long story) That being said, I have NO previous (or current for that matter) purchased products. Can I still review the products I have that I bought from my OTHER Amazon account and review them on this new account? If so, can i use those videos to apply to Onsite commission program? What should I do??!?! Thanks!
@@joshandkristy you can do videos for ANY product that can be found on Amazon. When and where you bought the product means absolutely nothing. Also, you’re creating videos about the product, not actually going in and giving it a review, just to be clear.
@@agentalexcampThanks for the reply! Does this still qualify for Onsite videos? (The review videos on Amazon itself?) I was thinking if I did a review I don’t purchase on my Influencer account, it wouldn’t register as a “verified purchase” and that would be a bad thing? Or am I over thinking this whole thing? 😅 Which is very comment for me..😂 Thanks again!
@@joshandkristyreviews you’re not supposed to be doing any reviews. You’re making videos for onsite. When you make a video for onsite, you will be tagging whatever product is in the video. There’s no record of what you have or haven’t purchased
@@meganmcnally1296 it lasted quite a while, and everyone will be different based on how bad there floors are, if they’re covered in carpet glue, etc. The best thing to do is buy more than you need and return what you don’t end up needing.

I have a little over 70 reviews uploaded so far (I was accepted mid-January this year) but I haven't received any free items or partnerships yet. Don't get me wrong I completely don't need free items and am 1000% grateful for the extra income that amazon has brought but my question is, is there something that amazon sellers look for when considering items and partnerships?
I hear ya man, with a family, full time job and other commitments it’s tough to consistently put out content. Whether here or Amazon. Just gotta keep grinding when we can. Quick question though: Am i wrong in thinking that non-copyrighted music (i.e. epidemic sound) was still ok for vertical short “inspire” content? Maybe they haven’t updated that part of the site yet…
@@LeftSeatAdventures yea the days start going by, and next thing you know, it’s the end of the month already🤣 As far as what they said in their email, they don’t want any music whatsoever, including royalty free music. The last line said any video with music is “subject to muting”, which I understand to be like everything else, as in they aren’t able to automatically mute all videos with music, so they’ll mute videos as they catch them.
Well dang you're making it sound like being a part time agent means you're not an expert. That's how I plan to start because i have a 2k+ mortgage I need to cover. That doesn't mean a part time agent is automatically a non expert. I think instead of making it about part time vs full time you should have titled it how to tell the difference between a "sometime" real estate agent vs a part time/full time professional agent. There's a difference between part time agents and sometime agents.
@@vespaman101 No. A part time agent doesn’t mean someone that has another full time job. A part time agent is someone that puts part time hours into it. If you’re putting part time effort into this constantly changing industry, you are not an expert. The people that trust us to guide them through one of the biggest transactions of their life, deserve nothing less than an expert.
@agentalexcamp a person with a full time job can only put part-time into being an agent. I think you really have to designate what you mean. There's few or none part time agents without a full time job. That's why they're part time. The agent who isn't a professional I call a sometimes agent. I just don't like the fact you are using the term part-time. That can make people think it's not okay for an agent to be part-time. Considering I'm planning to start as a part time agent that can hurt people with similar aspirations to my own. Just food for thought.
@@vespaman101 I understand what you’re saying, but let me explain. Every part time agent has a full time job, but not every agent with a full time job is a part time agent. For example, in my office, there’s an agent that has a very established full time job, BUT when she is done at that job for the day, she is putting in the work as an agent, every day. She does all of the training, meetings, etc that everyone else does, that don’t have full time jobs. She makes sure that she is the educated professional that our clients deserve. I do not consider her a part time agent. Now, we have other agents in our office, that only have a license so that they can hopefully sell 1 home a year for some vacation money. They don’t do frequent training and other things. That is a part time agent. I have no problem with someone keeping their full time job as they’re getting started. The problem is the ones that don’t put full effort into real estate, while having a full time job, rarely become successful enough to leave that full time job, so they stay in the cycle of being “part time”
In how many days you got approved. I have applied in feb 2024 still not approved 3 videos are published still blue lock is not open. They're not denying or approving. Any solution?
@@ifindbest4u I was approved in about 3 business days. Your videos can be published but not approved. Sounds like they were denied at some point and you might have missed it. Maybe delete all 3 and publish new ones. Does it say you’ve used 1 of your 3 tries?
Well I have been doing 30 videos a day in the last 5 days or so. But I listened to the video and you said quality is more important. We’ll see what kind of results I get
Yeah 30 videos a day sounds impossible. Quality would have to be very low to rush through videos like that. Amazon wants videos that provide value to help the consumer make a purchase, so those are the videos they will push over time
Everything in the video is pretty much right, only cross the floor in an angle with the drum sander ones. And the floors turn orange or yellowish because they use an oil base
I post 3 videos and waiting for approval, I left it alone like other influencers advise not make more than 3 videos, out of no reason I check my amazon associate account, my videos have $132 in total commissions for the month of June, is that it? Am I in the program? I havent set up any payment account. Should start uploading video reviews? What is you advice to me, thanks and I enjoy your videos
When you go to the “manage videos” tab, at the top, there will be a banner with a blue lock, showing how many submissions you’ve made out of 3 and all that. If that lock is gone, you should be approved.
They will post your videos to their site before you are approved. Some people will have those rejected and you wouldn't get the money but if you are approved you would eventually get that money.
@@kristikaye4491 you’re partially correct. Your videos can get “published” without getting approved for onsite. But, your videos will not get “rejected” and then get approved for onsite. Rejected means it didn’t follow Amazon’s required standards.
Never sand inbetween stains stain light wait 5 to 15 mins then wipe it off and in then re stain light and do again until you get what you want it once took my 2 weeks to get this russian red correct and in the end the lines the tiger stripes the blood red tiger it looked polished man wish i still had that phone to show pics
Great content! New sub here. I just got into the influencer program. Made a few bucks so far. Just curious what products are you reviewing or what are your best converting videos? Thanks!
Thanks! At the end of the day, just focus on making quality videos. The products you should focus on are whatever ones are coming up for a certain season/holiday. For example, right now you wouldn’t be making videos about warm coats and Christmas lights, because nobody is buying those right now. On the flip side, outdoor products would be great to post right now.
Update to my Ryobi Mower "warranty" issue. As I described earlier, my home depot warranty I purchased along with my Ryobi mower, approximately a year ago required me to take the mower to the nearest service center, approximately an hour's drive away. I was to pay for all charges, up front, and after approximately 1-3 months later, I would get my mower back. I was then expected to submit my repair receipt back to the HD warranty people for reimbursement. I decided to look into Ryobi's warranty. Turns out, my mower is covered for 5 years. I did have to spend about 20 minutes "on hold" with Ryobi, until I finally spoke with a customer service representative. After giving her purchase dates and model/serial numbers, she then arranged for a prepaid shipping label to be emailed to me to use to mail my mower to the service center. Not sure on the wait time, but at least I didn't have to pay for anything out of pocket. I'll keep you updated on the repair wait time and the final outcome of the mower. Fingers crossed I get a new mower!....lol
Same problem here. Sort of. My Ryobi self-propelled mower stopped working 12 month after my purchase from Home Depot. Fortunately, I also purchased a 3 year warranty "all state protection" plan from Home Depot. When I went online to begin the warranty process, myh only option is to drive 50 miles to the nearest service center or have it shipped (who knows how much it costs to ship a mower). So far, my Ryobi experience is not starting off well. Oh, and the approximate wait time is a month to diagnose the problem and approximately 3 months if parts have to be ordered. That's a long time to be without my mower. Really considering going back to a gas mower.
After 3+ years as an Amazon affiliate, i just joined the influencer program tonight. (Never a huge amount, but gas money. The creator rewards have been a nice boost.) Anyway, thanks for the straight talk and real world numbers. 👍 I don’t do Facebook but I’ve seen some of these myths in other videos.
It is June 19th. There are 3 service centers near me. The quickest I can get a repair is 3 months!!! Did I mention it is the START of SUMMER!!! Also, I sent a light dash cam smaller than that drill in a box back with insurance (Ryobi requires insurance) and it cost by cheapest method USPS $22...so your $10 is likely $30 to ship. They count on these being THROW AWAY!!! That is why they could offer 50 year warranty.

I just got approved today, Thursday and submitted Monday. So, 3 days for Onsite Commissions on my first attempt. I used my Pixel phone and natural sunlight coming into the room with a simple background. I did add those videos onto my youtube account and linked my amazon store as well as my affiliate link to the products in the description. Each video was 1:40-1:55 minutes long. I shot some panning B roll and even did a time lapse. Probably more than what was needed but I wanted it to get approved. I was more active on RU-vid, by commenting on channels that I get value from. I also worked on my store by making lists and ideas. I hope that helps!
Thank you! Would be hard to know how long just that room took, because I did most of the house, and only filmed this room. If I was just doing this room, I’d say I could get all of the sanding done in 1 day, and get all of the stain/sealing done in 1-2 days depending on dry times, whether you’re using water based or oil based.
Great job and tips. Going to do a couple rooms after having much of the house professionally done a year ago. Worst part by Far was the smell and if course it was hot and humid out so windows shut. Hotel for 4 days. I'm going to buff a small area and see how a 100 grit looks.
I am in the second level of review for the approval process at the moment. I can't wait to get in and start making videos!!! My recommendation for your "I didn't do what I'm supposed to do." is to lower your expectations for yourself. Instead of saying 50, make your goal 25. I know that sounds small in comparison but the goal might be psychologically daunting for you. Instead of thinking big and falling short, think small and surpass it.
Yea I tell people aim for 1 per day, so 30 per month, which is super easy to accomplish. I just have 100 things going on and get sidetracked. Just wait til you see how many I did for this past month😬
My ex girfriend works for HD customer service. Told me the same thing they never answer phone calls even when they call. Customers yell at her all the time but they won't answer. It's a joke the warranty
