Look how high he elevates when he shoot that jumpshot dude was athletic af but in college he didn't have that much elevation because he gained more muscle
When Red Auerbach learned of Bias death,I saw tears coming down his face and he knew his death took about 10 yrs away from the Celtics, pretty Shocking and Gut-Wrenching,RIP,Lenny&Reggie!
Len Bias and Reggie Lewis we’re gonna be the infusion for the Celtics for 5-10 yrs, providing they stay healthy, but it’s all in the past, that famous(WHAT MIGHT&COULD have been!
Rite aid Eckhart Walgreens CVS can sell drugs much more stronger than what ray sold everyday on every corner in any American city and not go to jail but yet Ray is serving a life
I feel so I sorry for her for her suffering, but Lionese Bias needs to get rid of the Jesus crap and start taking responsibility in her part of Len’s death. Kid’s DO NOT get involved in the use of hard core illegal drugs like cocaine unless the parents failed the kid to a certain degree. She has been viewed as this poor mother figure who lost two sons to tragic deaths. Where there is smoke, there is a fire. Something happened in that household that CAUSED Len to view illegal drugs as no more than drinking a single Miller Lite in one evening. As it turns out, Len Bias had been using cocaine for some time. Unlike what Lefty says, this wasn’t just a one time mistake in judgment. Len had been using coke for some time. I also have real issues with Lionese because she is one of the people responsible for the insane mandatory sentencing laws that still put marijuana joint smokers in Texas in prison for years. Judges are no longer allowed to be judges, and due to prison over-population, rapists and other people who have committed much worse crimes are allowed to be released while the joint smoker rots in prison. Illegal drug use is a HEALTH problem. It only becomes a criminal issue when an addict beats up an old lady for money to get his heroin. I can put 3 guys through Betty Ford for the same price that it takes to house one non-violent drug offender in a California state prison. I am so sick of it. It’s insane and a waste of taxpayer’s money. And to start using Jesus and religion as the reason for doing this or not is to ignore science and what really works.
I’m 58 and at that time I was using recreationally. Many of us did. I don’t blame my parents . To say his parents failed him is sad. This is your opinion not based on facts. Now the drug laws I agree but hindsight is 20/20. JESUS CRAP! GIVE ME A BREAK
I was 14 years old at the time of his death. I'm now 50, and it still hurts. That morning, I woke up and told my mom I had a dream that Len Bias died. I used to sleep with the radio on, and I obviously heard it in my sleep and thought it was a dream. I was crushed when my mom told me it was not a dream.
Wow me too. I was getting ready to go train at the gym w my buddy ( we both played college FB). I heard it on the radio, and I called my friend asking him did they really say Len Bias!? When he said yes, I was stunned. I was a zombie the rest of that day.

Mchale started maybe 25 or 30 games a season until 87 when he became full time starter smh
Vernon Butler went on to play for the Naval Academy. When the Terps met up with Navy and David Robinson in the NCAA tournament, Len Bias got his revenge.🏀🐢
I'm not gonna say that Len Bias was better than Michael Jordan. What I will say is that he probably would've been a first ballot HOFer. He was that good, young'uns do your research. I grew up in Michigan a MSU fan but he was my favorite player. Every shot he put up I thought was wet. Pure J
