Well, my vision isn't what it used to be..I'm a little cranky and I don't sleep all night because I have to pee more often but I did get to live the eighties as a teen..👍👍👍👍👍
Robbin got along well with the Bon Jovi guys, and would often ride on their bus. But Stephen was jealous of Jon because he was better looking and had a better voice. At least that’s how Robbin told the story in an interview with Mitch Lafon.
@@slimgoodboogie2184 a lot of singers from the 80's had a superior vocal compared to Pearcy. to say Pearcy is a singer is a complete joke. but he had a certain look that put people in the seats. similar to Vince Neil
I see all this and I'm like- those are my people!! Everyone was thin and in style. Back in the days before all the chemicals the food corporations are pumping into our food to fatten us up and get us addicted to medications. The same footage today would show 70% of the audience looking like morbidly obese diabetes mascots- I mean "body positive individuals".
Love RATT! but what a terrible opening song. Shouldn't have even been in the set!!!! It's one of their worst songs. What the heck were they thinking. 😅
Saw this tour in Portland Oregon at the Memorial Coliseum which has the worst sound acoustics. Ratt sounded horrible, their sound mix was way off. Bon Jovi had their sound dialed in right for the poori acoustics. IMO, Bon Jovi out performed Ratt and I do like both bands.
I rode 2 hours in the back of a truck to see this show, guzzling beers the whole way. This was when the tour landed in Little Rock. Barton Colosseum was open admission then so if you wanted upfront, it was yours but you had to work for it! Great show though.
Saw this tour in Great Falls MT 1985 while in the Air Force sweet!!! Accidentally got hammered before the show and never even saw Bon Jovi saying even though my buddy is held me up by the stage LOL
Saw the Springfield, MO show. Great time, great memories! To this day I don't understand how Dangerous But Worth the Risk made it into the setlist, let alone opened the show. Okay tune, but a terrible opener. No energy.
Bon Jovi especially! ... damn I miss this Era! Ratt was huge back in those days! ...and the E.P. to Ratt n Roll is still a "staple" in my regular rotation.
Robbin said in his last interview that he hung out with Bon Jovi's band backstage because they were happier and more acted more like a band. Also the other guys didn't want to practice etc, they just wanted to laze around.
@@markrosenquist8259 Mark, that was actually about Poison. They were replaced by a band (which I can't remember) and then poison was put back on with Ratt because sales were killer with those two bands..... Hence the Ratt Poison tour
In one of his last interviews, Robbin said he was hanging out with the guys from Bon Jovi backstage because they had more enthusiasm and got along better while Stephen and the other guys just laid around not wanting to practice or do anything.
This footage is before Jon had his balls cut off and before he was filthy rich and when he could still sing the songs like they were meant to be sung! Take off the mask Jon and your money has made you blind! Its hard for a rich man to get into heaven! Thanks for the footage! Ratt n roll! God bless and savior JESUS keep you safe on flat earth always:))
My first Rock concert! Wichita, Ks at the coliseum. I was hooked to live music after that show. Barricade busted during Bon Jovi. Seen them again a few years later with Poison and Joan Jett opening.
