Greetings from NYC. We used to visit Florida often when my parents were alive. The people there were wonderful to us, and we made many friends. We'll never move there but best of luck to all Floridians and thank you. Good luck.
Have them here in Missouri. We call them Cow Killer Ants, but as others have said, it just hurts for a few minutes. It is not even as bas as a hornet sting.
Ohhh it can’t kill a cow. But it could feel like that to some people. 🤣 I’ve been stung by them, to me it feels like a stick from a doctor and a small stinging, itchy feeling that goes away in a few minutes. But to others… It might be bad.
We live a bit north of Houston. We have them in the yard pretty often. My boys catch them and add them to their bug cages all the time. My 4 year old put one in a zipper mesh bag and walked it around with him all day the other week. Lol. My 9 year old released it and thinks he got stung but I don't think he did because he wasn't in real pain it seemed. Don't think they'll be playing with them as much after that.
Me and my wife were reading the water meters at a mobile home park, and a red velvet ant fell from the tree down my wifes shirt and stung her boob. I didnt know what was happening and i hear my wife screaming i turn around to see my wife pull out her boobs and start swinging them around i was dieing laughing not knowing what was happening and this was in the middle of a mobile home park on the weekend. Im sure people got a good show that day. and they are probably still wondering why the meter readers wife pulled her boobs out and swung them around that day.
Missouri isn't in the north. That being said. The bites from these little ladies suck and I've bitten by them once. While they are fascinating to look at, I highly don't recommend poking that metaphorical bear. Edited: spelling and words, how do they work?
Hi I’m in Sarasota but want to move closer to all the dancing up in St Pete general area and want to check out Dunedin, Palm Harbor, Safety Harbor, - anywhere else I should see up that way? I liked Gulfport ok Thanks!
Hi, my name is Giane and I liked your videos, they are very straightforward. I'm from Maryland and I want to move in to Florida this year 2024 and I couldn't find any recent videos from you. Are you going to make any videos about the 10 most affordable safe cities in Florida anytime soon? because the ones I've seen on web are very discouraged, Thank you
You should check out lake Santa Fe in Melrose FL they have an amazing historical town with great seafood and a local bar that has live music that's been there since 1935
