Nice. 2 months ago I bought a 2001 Mitsu Eclipse Spyder GT convertible with the v6, 6 speed and sun and sound package. Love the Gen 3 look of it. Keeping it stock, put 2g in the engine and it's getting welding and rust work now. Even garaged Winters 23 years in Maine USA is tough on a ride. Up next either purple or green apple paint job over the original titanium. Nt a blistering ride at 200 hp but she's a corner carver. As a sport bike guy that's what I want. On he seacoast here I see lots of new German drop tops. But for me she's a much better looker. I'm stoked.
Love the tributes as they can be driven. The originals are far too valuable whos driving round a 500 thousand dollar original SS Group A . No one in their right mind. Especially the way half the idiots on the road behave these days. Too busy on their phone. Anyway what a beast...
In america back in 1983 I had a 1973 Capri with the carbureted 2.8 V6. I installed a 1968 283 SBC with a Powerglide because the oil pan had to clear the rackNpinion. I also installed 1968 Mercury Cougar Tail lights. Ah, if you only kept some of your creations from when you were young.
