Great lecture. However, I do believe that the examples of Apple in Virtual, Boundaryless Organisation in 17:03, should be in Hollow model. As Hollow model is more on outsourcing expertise the company didn't want to develop, rather than Virtual model, in which is more for creating a small temporary subcompany to jump in on seasonal opportunity. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I appreciate this educational opportunity. I am able to balance the company's power amongst the different types of companies' directors, auditors, and executive directors. Thank you very much @opentuition
Hey, how come you credited 'Loss' towards the P&L on the T account in the first example? I imagine that creates an 'increase' instead of a 'decrease' to reflect the loss?
Remember you also have to subtract the Parent's / Sub's share of any impairment of goodwill from W4 (Sub) and W5 (Parent) and the full impairment of goodwill from W3 if using FV method, or under PONA method: subtract 100% goodwill impairment from W5 and nothing from W4.
@12:33 😀Hollywood style of having fun....thanks very much for considering the "WHYs" (logic/reasoning) behind recognising as an asset/liability/equity.
What if the loss of 84000 in example no 2 was made in 2nd year i.e 31 march 2023. And year end 31 mar 2024 had a trading profit of 25000 with same property income.
haha, sir john firing shots at kaplan 11:00 . Shows he has history with them, given the ridiculous prices they charge for tuition in comparison opentuition is far more better and has quality lectures.
