it worked for me try with altstore. However dont think the mobile versions of world adventure and Medival will work. If your interested for medival you can use an windows phone emulator on android or pc to get it. Sadly for the world adventure you can use altstroe or anything to sideload it but you need an iphone that has ios 10.

How do you do throws with a controller? I notice with a controller you cannot press two buttons simulatenously. You have to hold one and then press the other, but not even that method works for throws/grabs

No this is the sims 3 mobile I think. The reason why it looks so different and is more simple is because I don't think a phone can handle the PC version plus the PC person has small buttons the player can't tap on, so yeah that's why it looks so different
The Sims Freeplay re-used a LOT of TS3 mobile. The biggest similarities I see are the voice clips, character models, some furniture, and even the entire rendering engine! TSF uses a custom-built rendering engine, and seeing how similar the lighting and meshes are in this one, it must be the same engine.
