My old dad was in Shropshie Home Guard. He often remarked how true to reality the programme was. He kept some of his kit for years. We played with his tin helmet and a gas mask. I know he had a Lee Enfield rifle which had been converted to fire 2.2 bullets. He said it would not of stopped anyone. Joness bayonet would have been far more effective
After the 225s I would say that the 125s are probably the most comfortable trains running in modern times. I still can not understand why the current modern designs do not reflect the past standards achieved from the 125s. Thank you for sharing.
