this man will do everything to bring up Seikwa and Sampa to make a lie resemble truth, both dont even speak akan language, so how can you continue lying about them being asantes - what other language does asante speak??? if someone within their group woke one day and chose to pledge alligence to manhyia, it doesnt make them asantes, if your logic is something to go by then asante is bono. Majority of the ppl in seikwa and sampa dont see themselves as asante just like berekum. Do u really think nobody was occupying the land those from asokre settled on? those from from asokre settled on a land given to them by dormaa, after dormaa captured them as spies? Dont believe everything obiri boahen says...
When a Ga Mantse is selected or dies, all the other city-states,La, Nungua, Osu,Teshie,Tema have roles that they play. It must however be pointed out that,he is not an overlord like Asantehene,Ya Na, Yagbonwura ,Nayiri etc. The problem is that, some people like Obiri Boahene think he is an overlord. The Ga Mantse is "Primus Interpares", first among equals, the La ,Osu, Teshie,Nungua,Tema rulers are his contemporaries. Same way,the Awomefia of Anlo is not overlord of all Ewes, but contemporaries with the Rulers of Ho(Asogli), Gbi (Hohoe) etc. Same like the Omanhene of Oguaa(Cape Coast) and Edina (Elmina).
It's slightly distorted. The oldest university is the University of al-Qarawiyyin in fez, Morocco. It's over a thousand years old built in the year 857. It's the oldest in the world. Also the wealth of mansard musa wasn't able to be quantified. Sources say it could round up to a trillion. The concept of ghana wasn't the sole idea of danquah. So be guided.
Good.Same as Akyem. There's no king in akyem. All the kyem stools are different paramouncies.Akyem Kotoku, akyem Abuakwa and Akyem Bosome. No one is under the other so there's no king in akyem.Sir,i wish you tell the Akyem Abuakwa chief to stop calling himself Okyehene by force because no paramouncy is under him.As Otumfoc said,it is better to help in development than to fight for territories.
This man who is not a Ga but calling himself a Ga ,is just one person with diffrent names and moving from one platform to another . He has choosen to write trash from his block head to play down knowledge and wisdom . It also important to note that Nungua was not led by Borkety Laweh . Borkety Laweh led only a section of Nungua latecomers called Amanfa .
Most Akan people of Ghana 🇬🇭 are from Ur of Chalddeas of Mesopotamia, who moved to Egypt to wilderness to Mail to form Mali Empire to old Ghana Empire songhai Empire to the Gold Coast.
There's no king in Ghana - it is legally impossible. They're all chiefs. It's a republic meaning a collection of different sovereign states collectively led by a president.
@@cliq109tv5I think you are very ignorant. Have a look at the Chieftaincy Act. Go and look at the meaning of republic in the dictionary. Ghana is suffering because of high level of literacy and ignorance hence leading to needless tribalism and backwardness. There's no KING IN GHANA.
@@collins9383 you have to go and read. So you think you understand the constitution than a lawyer who has practiced law for several years. The constitution state it clearly and recognize the Asantehene as a king.
Significantly, according to Article 11 (2) of the 1992 Constitution, Common Law and Customary Law are part of the Laws of Ghana, and therefore, if customary law describes the Asantehene as a King, then, it follows logically that, the Constitution also recognises the Asantehene as a King. Indeed, the Constitution does not need to state in black and white that, the Asantehene is a King before Mr. Kweku Baako and his like-minded republican theorists could be convinced that, the Constitution recognises the Asantehene as a King. Invariably, Customary Law, as defined by Article 11 (3) of the 1992 Constitution, is part of the laws of Ghana, and therefore, any cultural practices, norms, beliefs and conventions acceptable under customary law are considered part of the Constitution. Thus, despite the Republican status of Ghana, the Constitution, ipso facto, recognises the Asantehene as a King. Apart from customary law, Section 58 of the Chieftaincy Act, 2008 (Act 759) also recognises the Asantehene as the “primus inter pares” of all the Paramount Chiefs in Ghana. It is also noteworthy that, the Asantehene is the only chief in Ghana who can be described, customarily and legally, as a King.
There is no king in Ghana, don't talk like a villager, this all the chiefs are only there to perform our cultures, they have no power again, gone are those days,
Nana should write books and record the history of Asante empire including Ashanti , western Ashanti , part of oti , Côte d’Ivoire, Togo and their territories.
Mansa Musa is the 9th Mansa of the Mali Empire...after Ghana had fallen to Mali. So technically, Musa was not a leader in the Ghana empire, but the Mali Empire. Just my little note for the historian.
Mansa Musa, the moron of ancient Mali who enslaved his countrymen in their thousands in his goldmines only to carry all the gold to the Arabian peninsula for display.
Mr man the Gas are not from Nigeria they are from Israel, how dare you speak about somebody history which you don't know, when you finish tell your people what happened to Ashantihene in the 60's when he came to the first opening of the Trade Fair
