Absolute scammers ! Staff on phones are terrible, no delivery but are charging me . And told I’m not getting my money back ! Vile bunch with disgusting attitudes towards their customers!
@@jordanreynolds1498 I left the topsoil lower than the path when I turfed my garden, it worked well as there’s a layer of soil with the turf so now the grass is level with the slabs
Poor quality turf, thatched, decayed matter embedded, mixture of poor fescue, rye, meadow no matter what you order.... All round disappointment. Avoid! Practices from development, sales, deliveries is flawed.
This company is scammer bcs I purchased turfs and soil from and both absolutely rubbish the turfs were very dry and most of them were damaged and the soil was full of stones one important thing is the reviews I think is dodgy like amazon they buy reviews they are not genuine 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎
I laid some turf in 2016 and now it's patchey full of moss and just generally an absolute mess. Wish I'd followed a decent video like this. All i did was lay the turf on top of the existing soil albeit smoothed out. I think the soil is poor quality and doesn't drain well in winter. I need to do the whole thing again

Hi Joseph, I want to do my garden which is sized 3m x 6m. I want to do it myself if at all this is possible with my own DIY skills. Do you know which soil to get and how much soil would to make it even. Where can I get the instruments and how I can do it (levelling) without any instruments. How did our ancesters do 100year ago? :D
@@explorewithant8263 not generally advisable, the old grass will prevent ideal root development for the new turf especially if there is heavy thatch underneath and you are skipping a vital part - turning over/aerating the existing soil and removing some thatch. Also, the old grass could decompose badly underneath leading to health problems for the new stuff. 😊
