"no battery can provide that much storage", well, ... how about a million batteries? It is the 21stCentury, maybe its time to rethink the "Grid" as it was handed to us. The analysis is fascinating, but, rather than optimizing the existing infrastructure of the "Grid" already worth, 100's? of Billions, what is the absolute BEST reinventing of what the Grid can be? widely dispersed, locally generated, smartly connected, way more instances of much smaller generation and storage vehicles. In other words, what future realization of a Grid that meets the needs of Canadians would represent the greatest return of wealth and prosperity to Canadians how can we maximize returns and income generation for us? I am also wondering in what way were future models of the water cycles integrated into your findings and how will possible climate changes affect your conclusions? Also, what exactly does, "it might be interesting to redo the market structure" "the more VRE integrated into the grid the more disconnected from reality it will become" mean? Consider, why not build a hybrid Transmission and Energy storage Distribution System. Rather than another :Mage-Project", why not build out smaller storage facilities on the current Distribution Grid, simple fascilities than could store useful amounts of energy to distribute at later times and then actualize the unique opportunities that the Vast amount of potential energy that we already have.

1) By reflecting away 30% of ISR the albedo, which would not exist w/o the atmosphere, makes the earth cooler than it would be without the atmosphere like that reflective panel set on the dash. Remove the atmosphere/GHGs and the earth becomes much like the moon, a 0.1 albedo, 20% more kJ/h, hot^3 on the lit side, cold^3 on the dark. Nikolov, Kramm (U of AK) and UCLA Diviner mission all tacitly agree. 2) the GHG up/down welling, “trapping”/”back” radiating, 100 % efficient, perpetual warming loop requires "extra" energy which it gets from 3) the terrestrial surface radiating that "extra" energy as an ideal, .95 emissivity black body which 4) it cannot do because of the non-radiative heat transfer processes of the contiguous atmospheric molecules. 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 = 0 RGHE + 0 GHG warming + 0 CAGW. All science backed up by experiment, the gold standard of classical science. www.linkedin.com/posts/nicholas-schroeder-55934820_climatechange-globalwarming-carbondioxide-activity-6655639704802852864-_5jW

*Green Energy Kills Native Culture, Freedom, Habitat, Water and Wildlife Worldwide* Greenhouse gases went up 45% in 30 years, the planet is heating faster at 5 nukes / sec 4 billion people now live at least one month per year with severe water shortages Trees grow faster and die younger more than ever before in hi temps drought fire and flood Yanks pump up fresh drinking water, poison it, pump it back underground to frack gas, to burn for electricity, to charge their EV batteries, in a mega drought -- and because of this Yanks cut emissions more switching to gas than Europe did switching to renewables, if you ignore all the leaky wells.
