The balcony railings thing that it has going on is rather odd. Those standard leg outboards might be ok in calm waters but any kind of seastate will see them being wholly out of the water. 😅
@@pedigreecatamarans I saw the other videos and realized the giant cat in the aerial video is the 86'. What is the story with the boat and why hasn't it been completed in the last 4 years.
My husband and I were building it for our retirement, sail around the world. Unfortunately, he passed away and it's too big of a yacht for me to handle. I would love to see someone finish her up and continue our dream!
@@pedigreecatamarans Sorry to hear that. I've been looking for a Big cat but I'm solo, and single handed on mono hulls too long. (never could find anyone that wanted to sail.) Shame it's got a long way to finish off, but that may be a good thing as a conversion possibility. I'm wondering about the viability of an electric conversion. It's definitely the future with hydrogen and sail, this size vessel is just right for it. Good luck, I'll keep an eye on its progress, that is if there are any updates. Cheers. Jim.
@@Jim.Thunda She is ready for interior and exterior. Changing out to electric is very doable at this point too. The mast is Ballenger with Neil Pryde Sails. Most everything is here and ready for install. She can be configured for single handling as most of the lines come to the cockpit. Yes, 86' is large for single handling, but doable when needed. The AeroRig 52' is definitely designed for single handling and would be perfect for a single sailor. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-onzqSjQOrTY.html Happy Sailing!
I was wondering if this yacht has sold because I am working hard on this, I have been storing Gold and Cryptos which are going up like crazy. . We spoke before you emailed me.
