@@dopexmc7901 this is from version 1.4, where duppie jump was still possible and FPS mode was a secret in the secret menu, with hard aiming on controller analogue sticks. The updated version 1.5 added the horror and a much improved FPS mode that's no longer a secret and can be used any time by clicking the right stick
I am currently playing this game for the first time and LOVE IT. I appreciate the videos as well! I spent over 2 hrs trying to find the last 1 and ran past it about 20 times. I ended up following this exactly expecting not to find what I was looking for, but right at 13:35 there it was! Thank you.
I would like to apologize for my actions, they were uncalled for. For for all the negative things i said I am sorry. You are truly the shadow man. The walker between worlds.
For anyone wondering. It does about as much damage as the shottie. It can pop a hookman in just two or three hits depending on the difficulty. It's hitscan, fairly quick, and doesn't require ammo or voodoo, making it probably the best unlock in the game. Also, for anyone playing on PC like me, when entering the NG+ code use the arrow keys for the directional inputs, not WASD.
@@GaaraN64 Behemoth gave some hints in the shadow man discord group. VERY cryptic hints. No one knew it was the revolver, or what we were looking for. After most others gave up searching for 6 months, it seemed like the wild at heart level was the secret. Once I got there I told Behemoth and he said "You've found one half of the secret". So I sat losing at pong for 2 hours, then left the game as the only person in the world with the revolver :)
Try spending two months figuring out Behemoth's obscure AF clues, watching all shadow man 2 cutscenes picking out bits of info and speech and gameplay elements, then no one in the discord having a clue what to do or try, and then sitting for two weeks, ten hours per day in deadside, trying everything under the sun, until finally you give up at the shrine and warp to Nettie and :O secret found!!! Then it was two more hours at 2am to beat pong for the first time. This is a much easier journey now for everyone Note the shadow gun only, on max level deadside ;)
Gotta love how Shadow Man was talking trash here. I also love the irony of the fact they were fighting in the death chamber with his throne being the electric chair.
@OnlyVocalsOfficial21 all I know is that another one's coming this year but like the remaster it's been in the dark lately so hopefully gamescom will give us the goods 👌
Haven't watched the video yet. I won't be surprised if the one I found ends up being in this video knowing how thorough you are. In the area where you warp to the Temple of Life I did a bash jump up onto the surrounding ledges. While I was up there I saw a climbable rope outside the load zone. I jumped down to it and grabbed on. Both sides are a dead end floating above the abyss and all around are a ton of enemies running around in the void. Nothing too crazy, but it was amusing for a bit and got myself a few good screenshots on my Steam.
@@igetboredproductions yeah I know of down there. Was gonna include a clip from up there on the cliffs, demonstrating how crazy the light soul flambeau is, but it wasn't odd enough for the video and was cut last minute.

Thank you for sharing this upload. I still enjoy playing shadow man such an underrated game from the dreamcast era. Thankfully team reptile brought it back in style 💀👍🏾
Got to this point as well (though playing on an easier difficulty ahah, nowhere near as good as you.) Curiosity led me to finally pick up the anklets and try the doll route for Magma Fields and collected a few ankhs also for good measure. What I can say is I've made it through the explodable floor at the bottom of the drop once, but died upon impact with the lava pit beneath. I'll still keep trying to see if I can replicate it but it's already taken me hundreds of attempts to make it through the floor alive, and that was only one time.
Best of luck with the magma doll route, and good job so far! These skips always seem to take hundreds if not thousands of attempts until it works. It's all about the determination :)
Bruh when i fight this jabba the hut blob he starts the fight with like 6 of those floating poison egg things around him, then cheap shots me into the lava
He can be tricky sometimes. Try jumping to the right and baiting the blobs close to you then dodging the explosion they make in order to get rid of them. Good luck!
This was a lot of fun! Go Disco Rat, GO! I discovered one weird anomaly too a few days ago. On NG+, I accidently pushed one of the fire blocks the wrong way (had my fire hands too early) and managed to lock off an area permanently. It was at the top of the Temple of Fire, and locked off a shortcut out of the temple. Thankfully, there were no Cadeaux in the bit between I couldn't ever access again or I'd have been raging on my NG+ All Achievements Horror Run! I also entered the Poigne chamber backwards on the same run, and the coffin gate looks totally open from the other side, but then when you run through and look back, it's locked off as expected.
I think I have a video up of that exact same thing I encountered when duppie jump still worked. Called it something like "never push this block how I did"
