do you have G-Sync when connected to an external monitor (g-sync compatible) with a usb-c to Display port cable ? does this laptop can connect directly to the Nvidia graphics while connected this way ? im asking this because my previous laptop (Razer blade 14 2022 with 3080Ti) don't have this features and now im trying to buy a laptop that can be used this way, I was also looking at the alienware x15 R2 with 3080Ti but I have not decided yet because this laptop is cheaper than the alienware
Your drive shafts are on some crazy angles,I have the hsp version of the ax10, except I heavily modified it.get yourself some extra link bars and play around with them untill you get drive shafts inline better with the transmission
Hi , i don't know how they did that , but i have a Hp pavilion 590 8th gen intel core i5 8400 , a GTX 1050 2GBDDR5 , chipset intel H370 , and a 180 watts PSU ..... An other Pavilion 590 with the same CPU and chipset , with a less powerfull RX 550 uses a 310 watts PSU , logically it should be the contrary , mine with a 310 watts , and that one with a 180 watts ....Go figure .... Anyway i wonder if i could put a slightly better graphics card with the same PSU , i have a 118GB SSD and a 1 T HDD , maybe i will put a 500 SSD , because i have some games on the HDD , i 'm going to put the good old Crysis back on the SSD soon because that's one of my favorite games , but COD infinite warfare : you need storage lol .... It seems that the difference of knowledges in the computer science between you and me is like night and day : oh i 've just added 8 GB of ram recently , what an achievement !! I am sure that i can put a better graphics card in that box , with 4 GO DDR5 , and the same PSU , logically : some laptop CPUs are now much more powerfull than mine , fit in a mini PC , and use much more power .... There must be a better graphic card than mine , which uses less power , ( i guess mine is 75 watts max ) , i can't find the GPUs for the H370 , i've seen a lot of CPUs but i'm comfortable with mine , 5 years ago it was a beast , now it's a goat , but honestly i find it OK .... This PC should have a 310 watts PSU , but it runs with a 180 watts one , i'd like to slighlty uprgrade it , i think you klnow all the graphics cards that fit in these PCs , maybe you can help me a little .... Thanks ...
Im putting in a i9-9900kf with a asus 3070 tuf (hope it fits, hear its huge), just updated to the newer bigger dell proprietary fan and heatsink and a 650w psu… maybe Starfield will look good now! Lol
Nice, a few little tweaks and that will be a great set-up. I’ve just bought a single speed Kona Unit. Having some real fun on that thing . But, like yourself there’s upgrades to be made in the not to distant future. Like brakes, rear hub, pedals and seat to get it how I really want it.
Made a comment before collecting all the data and deleted it as I wanted to confirm my numbers. My numbers don't mean others will get this, but felt that the massive improvement is definitely worth sharing, so maybe it'll help others. I installed the block as shown in the manual but the manual does specify that it doesn't matter about the orentation. Thermal testing was done at 2 different ambient temps, with the EKWB at 22c and Heatkiller at 24c. When removing the EKWB block, the coverage and contact was great. My CPU is a 5950x. I went from an EKWB Quantum Velocity (The first 1) paired with Thermal Grizzly Hydronaut. Upgraded to the Heatkiller IV Pro and Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme. Depending on the game, I saw a 2 - 8c drop. I only really play 2 games. Ark Evolved saw 2c drop on average and Cyberpunk 2077 saw 6-8c drop on average. In Rendering and Handbrake I saw about an 8c drop Idle temp was down by 2-3c as well which I didn't expect If you are trying to figure out which block to go for, I'd say skip EKWB and go for Heatkiller IV Pro and if you have a 12+ core CPU, the Kryonaut Extreme thermal paste is what I'd suggest as well.
Still no problems? I just bought one it was the last laptop with that good of specs for $1800 cad I was deciding over that exact configuration or the zephyrus g15 rysen 7 rtx 3060 for $1600 just hoping I made the right choice since it was pricey
All the information you need is cpu its compatible with and then you screw the dam thing togther...together.... if you need heatkiller to explain in a booklet with pics, then you should not be messing with it in the first place 🤷♂️
It's hard to tell from your video if the heatkiller came with it's own backplate. I'm curious as to wanting to use this on AM5. They say on websites that it's Am5 ready. They say if your cooler comes with it's own backplate then it won't fit on the AM5 socket.
How do you use the smaller mini ITX system? is the idea that each of the two motherboards and video cards, etc...can be used like having two separate computers??? except all the hardware is just inside the one case? Do you have two power supplies or just one power supply that powers both the systems?
The revolt c power supply is proprietary to this build to be able to power 2 systems but they act as 2 completely different PCs jsut inside one case. You plug one set of mouse keyboard hdmi into the top one and the other into the bottom one. The motherboards are totally seperate
@@TheLMMLAX9 What about just finding a place to mount a second power supply in the case for the mini ITX system, even if it means making a mod to the case to support it? The phanteks dual power supplies are like 300$
@@TheLMMLAX9 can you explain that a little more....and what does that do - when you wire the reset button on the case, to the mini tx PC (where do you connect it to on the mini itx pc?)
@@argniests5357 the reset button becomes the power button to turn on the second Pc on the bottom. It’s like if you had 2 completely seperate computers next to each other in a seperate case. Only difference is it’s within the same case. I’m not entirely sure how to explain that more. The top motherboard has its own ports and outputs and the bottom itx computer has its own ports and outputs.
Hola, buenas tardes. Un saludo Espero me pueda ayudar con esta duda que tengo 🤔 A esta PC con i3 8va, 12ram ddr4, 310v se le puede instalar una tarjeta gráfica Nvidia GTX 1060 (470v)?
These blocks are to get working correctly due to uneven mounting pressure all around and watercool blocks are always recommended to use with their backplate to distribute pressure evenly and get better results.
thank u bro u sold me on going for something like this build, my biggest concern was with the spacing between the h150i and 3070 but i think ill be good. gonna be my first one! u r legend
I had the same problem and tried everything but eventually decided to take the back panel off and layed it on a laptop cooling pad with some spacers to keep the laptop motherboard from touching anything. All in all my cpu never hits over 90c and never had the issue again. I would also suggest going on alienware command center and put both gpu and cpu fans on 100% all the time
Hey there, been weighing the option between 3060 ti and 3070. I'm curious how much max power you've seen your 3070 FE draws? Bit worried about our 8940 500w psu. Have you face any issues? Thanks!
Got the same laptop . 6 months later I’m streaming with it & occasionally play GTA V Ultra settings (no streaming or recording) with 45 FPS . It’s a underrated beast . As long as you find a way to turn off the acceleration either through bios like I Did or the program he spoke off
You should use the Dell OEM version, as it draws less power, to not overload Dell's proprietary power supply, which is barely adequate for RTX cards. The power supply may have 2 PCIe power connectors, but they aren't separate. You should only use one.
