@@organistpeter Ah! Ich habe Caen in diesem Video benutzt. Je nach dem bei welchem Anbieter man das Sampleset erwirbt sollte es in Surround zwischen 600 und 700€ liegen. :)
Schöne, pompolusische Aufmachung eines Orgelklanges - ein wenig "nach preussischer Blasmusik" erinnernd (Zitat nach Jean Guillou).- Das wäre verschmerzbar für diese Riegerin! Nur wusste ich nicht, wohin ich hören, oder schauen sollte?! Denn die eleganten unbekleideten Männerbeine ließen mich nicjt los. und an das Konzert des jean Langlais einst alldort erinnern. Dieser spielte bein-bedeckt, mit Registrant, und blind. Lang ist's her! Was wohl Hans Haselböck zu dieser Darbietung in dieser Adjustierung zu sagen gehabt hätte? Gott hab' ihn selig! This is one of the best playing and execution of this piece of music I have ever heard. I have heard many versions of this and I can say that the only difference between the composer and this player is that Gaston wrote it. What an increadable performance. Regards from South Africa

Hi! The sound is recorded directly by the software with its internal recorder. I only added a tiny bit of reverb as an afteredit to the video, which makes the sound even more realistic. Thanks for the compliment, I'm very happy with my setup and thankfull for it every day I play with it. :D

Not all of it, the console I bought from Content. However, I've modified some things arround it, so a bit DIY indeed. That way I could fit the organ to my needs :D
Impressive home set up and concert. The charming little prelude and fugue in C BWV 553 (the whole set of 8 has since been considered not to be by Bach) is the first organ piece I learned at school.
Ich höre mir das jetzt seit 3 Jahren regelmäßig an und es wird nächstes Jahr das Lied zum Auszug unserer Hochzeit. Mir kommen die Tränen, wenn ich nur daran denke. Wundervoll gespielt, ganz große Klasse 😍

10 years ago Daniel you could see the talent that would developed into a very fine organist of today- you clearly loved playing 10 years ago and it hasn't left you.
Thank you for this excellent video. Do you use a sub-woofer for the bass frequencies? Also, please could you tell me what mounting bracket you are using for the touchscreen?
You are very welcome! :) Actually I only use the speakers without a subwoofer, as they still perform perfectly fine with a 32' rank. If I ever want to add a sub, that is totally possible. For the mounting of my touchscreen I used a holder by SIMBR I bought on amazon. It is spring loaded, so I can also adjust it in height and tilt it as I want. But any holder probably will do, just search google for it and you will find several solutions :) Hope I could help! Best, Daniel
This prelude and fugue by JS Bach has long been a favourite of mine. Lukas does an extraordinary job with it. All from memory, too! I am keen to hear him play when he comes to Sydney in April 2023.
Obschon einiges an der ursprünglichen Klanglichkeit geändert worden ist (so fehlen viele Streicher, die Zungen und Mixturen sind alle erneuert worden), hat diese Orgel vor allem in den Grundstimmen sehr viel Charme. Das Gesamtkonzept ist weiterhin schlüssig. Schöne Vorführung, der Abschluss "so was von fett" - das gehört so 😎
Allerdings, aber es ist dafür von der Erbauerfirma alles abgeändert worden, so hat sie wohl auch etwas von der Originalität beibehalten. 😉Die Grundstimmen haben es mir ebenso angetan, die Wärme gibt es nicht überall auf jeder Orgel. Den Abschluss konnten wir nicht lassen, da geht es mit uns manchmal beim Improvisieren etwas durch 😂
I am learning the organ layout (registration stops and divisions) and in BWV 553 at 15:30 I sense a change, the Reeds seem to transition to Flutes, but I see no physical movement to effect that. And at 16:40 the Reeds seem to come back. Is that true or it is the note combination itself, no change in registration? thanks (wonderful performance, inspiring!)
