Yes, 1992 model year with the VIN for the win: 1B7 for US made Dodge Truck, H for 6,001 to 7,000 # Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, E for 2WD, 1 for 1/2 ton rated, 6 for standard cab, Y for 5.2L (318 CID) V8 with EFI, 0 is a check digit, N for the 1992 model year, S for Warren Truck, Warren, MI assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Warren Truck facility opened in 1938 and still operates today under Stellantis. No tag (under hood), can't brag, but should be code GW6 or GW7 Bright White exterior paint. This one was made on Saturday October 12, 1991.

Yup, first one is a 1976 F-250 with the VIN for the win: F25 for F-250 2WD pickup, Y for 360 CID V8 with two barrel, R for San Jose, CA assembly and the rest is the production sequence lining up with 1976 model year production. The San Jose CA plant, also known as Milpitas Assembly operated from 1955 to 1983. We (barely) got the tag, we can brag: 133 for the wheelbase of the truck in inches, M for Wimbledon White exterior paint, F25 something for F-250 2WD pickup, possible AD4 for red vinyl interior trim, F for four speed manual Warner T-18 transmission, possible 23 for 3.31:1 rear axle ratio, non-locking, and 75 for Phoenix, AZ sales district among other codes. The focus on that phone is terrible and you're pointing too much to the ground. It needs to be a wider view. An F-250 is a 3/4 ton pickup, an F-350 would be a one ton. The paint code Ford trucks is either on the metal door tag (as on this one) or in later years on the computer printed door jamb label. Second one is a 1982 F-100 with the VIN for the win: 1FT for US made Ford truck, C for 4,001 to 5,000 # Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, F10 for F-100 2WD, E for 4.9L (300 CID) straight six with one barrel, light duty, 9 is a check digit, C for the 1982 model year, R for San Jose, CA assembly and the rest is the production sequence. We got the tag, we can brag: 3P for Medium Blue Metallic exterior paint, 133 for 133" wheelbase, F101 for F-100 2WD pickup with 4,650 # GVWR, F for Warner T-18 four speed manual transmission, 15 for 3.25:1 rear axle ratio, Ford made, non-locking, CB4 for Blue cloth and vinyl interior trim, Styleside pickup body, and 75 for Phoenix, AZ sales district. In this case, the paint is above where it says "Exterior Paint" on the label.

You've got to stabilize the phone and slow down when you record, it's like being in a cruise liner in a storm. LOL. We got the VIN, we win: F25 for F-250 2WD, Y for 360 CID V8, R for San Jose, CA assembly and the rest is the production sequence lining up with February 1970 model production making it a 1970 model year truck. The San Jose CA plant was also called Milpitas Assembly and operated from 1955 to 1983. We(barely) got the tag, we can brag: 131 for the wheelbase in inches (long wheelbase truck at 131"), M for Wimbledon White exterior paint, F255 for F-250 2WD pickup with 6100 # Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, 1 for possible Green interior trim (based on the seat belts), 4 for Styleside pickup body, F for four speed Warner T-18 manual transmission, 38 for 3.73:1 rear axle ratio, non-locking, made by Dana, 6100 is the maximum GVWR of the truck, 170 HP at 4100 RPM rated, and 75 for Phoenix, AZ sales district.

Too much bouncing around and no focus. Those camera phones are all terrible. LOL. Benny at CRS has the same problem. I'd throw every one of them out. I use a real camera to take photos at work. We got the VIN, we win: 9 for 1979 model year, Y for Wixom, MI assembly, 89 for Continental Mark V, S for 400 CID V8 with two barrel and the rest is the production sequence. The Wixom, MI plant operated from 1957 to 2007. We got the tag, we can brag: 3Q for Dark Blue exterior paint, YQ for Dark Blue vinyl roof, 65D for Mark V, F4B for Blue exterior moldings, MB for Blue leather interior trim, A for factory air conditioning (with a A6 GM compressor), U for AM-FM MPX Quad 8 electronic radio with CB, B for 2.47:1 rear axle, non-locking, B for sunroof/moonroof equipped, U for C-6 automatic transmission and 51 for Denver, CO sales district. This car was expensive new, about $21,629 in 1979 money which is over $93,000 in 2024. These came standard with a gold grille, which can still be seen here. The Collector's Series was a limited edition Lincoln Mark V as 1980 would bring a downsized Mark VI. Yes, that's the first owner's name and date of delivery. The dealer would provide the personalized name plate and door IDs. That was 1970s "exclusivity". There were 6,262 Collector's Series Mark V models made for the 1979 model year and 3,900 of them were Dark Blue (paint code 3Q) like this one. No, this is carbureted, that piece looks like something maybe for an early cell phone or something. It's not for any kind of fuel injection. The "Collector's Series" where the opera window was on most Mark Vs is correct. That's factory done. Tuesday June 12, 1979 would have been the date of delivery to the first owner. No, 5.8L is a 351 CID, this is a 6.6L (400 CID) V8. That was the top engine option in 1979, the 460 V8 was last used in 1978. The "F"s at the beginning and end of the VIN on the dash are not part of the VIN #s.
@googleusergp
@googleusergp Год назад
You didn't focus on that sticker well enough and the camera is dancing around, so it's hard to make it out. It's "Bullnose" Ford. We got the VIN, we win: 1FT for US made Ford Truck, E for 6,001 to 7,000 # GVWR, F14 for F150 4x4, N for 5.0L (302 CID) V8 with EFI, X is a check digit, G for the 1986 model year, P for Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul), MN assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Twin Cities plant closed in 2011. No tag, can't brag, but this was originally code 34 Light Regatta Blue exterior paint.
@googleusergp
@googleusergp Год назад
The 1980s trucks are called "Bullnose" Fords by many people. Slow the camera down and focus, it bounces around too much and you're going too fast. That's a vinyl, not leather seat in the 1994. 1994 F150 with the VIN for the win: 1FT for US made Ford truck, E for 6,001 to 7,000 # Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, F14 for F150 4x4 Styleside pickup, Y for 4.9L (300 CID) straight six engine with EFI, 1 is a check digit, R for the 1994 model year, N for Norfolk, VA assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Norfolk plant operated from 1925 to 2007. We got the tag, we can brag: 133 for the truck's wheelbase in inches, F142 for F150 4x4 Styleside pickup, M for five speed manual transmission with overdrive, 19 for 3.55:1 rear axle ratio, non-locking, DSO of 56 in the past was Davenport, IA, and XD for Light Sante Fe exterior paint. 1984 Ford F150 with the VIN for the win: 1FT for US made Ford Truck, E for 6,001 to 7,000 # Gross Vehicle Weight Rating, F14 for F150 4x4, G for 5.8L (351 CID) V8 with two barrel, 6 is a check digit, E for the 1984 model year, P for Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul), MN assembly and the rest is the production sequence. The Twin Cities plant operated from 1925 to 2011. We got the tag, we can brag: 9D for White exterior paint and 51 for Medium Fire Red exterior paint (two-tone), 133 for the truck's wheelbase in inches, F144 for F150 4x4, JD4 for Red cloth and vinyl interior trim on a regular cab with Styleside box, A for four speed manual transmission, New Process model 435, H6 for 3.50:1 limited slip rear axle, 75 for Phoenix, AZ sales district.

There were two tags on those era Fords. One on the door and one on the jamb. The one on the jamb has less information than the one on the door. No VIN, can't win, no tag, can't brag. The E Series is a 1977 model year, with the VIN for the win: E12 for eight passenger E150 Club Wagon, H for 351 V8 with two barrel, H for Lorain, OH assembly and the rest is the production sequence matching up with the 1977 model year. The Lorain, OH plant operated from 1958 to 2005. We got the tag, we can brag: 138 is the truck's wheelbase in inches, F for Dark Brown lower exterior paint, E for Cream upper exterior paint, E124 for eight passenger E150 Club Wagon, G for three speed Ford produced automatic transmission, 13 for 2.75:1 rear axle ratio, non-locking, 6500 for the maximum Gross Vehicle Weight Rating in pounds, 1977 for 1977 model year, and 75 for Phoenix, AZ sales district. It's a Windsor as the decal says "Engine Family 351W". The Cleveland was last used in 1974. Yes, Capitol Ford is still around and located at 4490 Cerrillos Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87507. It might have a trailering package as it was a passenger van, hence the "Trailer Special" logo on the back. Those black center caps are from a newer era Ford than this 1977 van. I have those same Craftsman ratchets. I bought them in 1990 as they were part of a mechanic's tool set and I still have the receipt for them from the local Sears (which closed in 2019 and opened in that location in 1973). Mine is 95% original and only a few sockets have had to be replaced. I just used it about two weeks ago. National Hand Tool (which Stanley eventually bought) made those ratchets for Sears and Easco (then part of Danaher) made the sockets. I must have 10 of those Sears Craftsman sets. My friend gave me one, missing about 10 pieces, but I found most of them stuck inside other sockets and only had add a few from my spare stash to make it complete (I did have to buy a 1/4" drive ratchet as it was missing when he gave it to me). My uncle's neighbor (who I call my uncle as he's been a friend of our family for over 50 years) was the manager at Sears for 40 years. I just got a like new 2005 Craftsman 9 HP/28" path snowblower from him last fall. It's a beast of a machine and I've cleared the street with it. I did a half hour's worth of work to it and it looks and runs like brand new. He also gave me a snowblower in 2005 (which this one replaced) and I still have that one too. My friend decided he no longer can/wants to work on cars anymore, so he just came over one day with the set, which dates from 1995 and belonged to his dad. I also bought a 1994 set from a coworker that was used maybe 10 times. It was missing only one piece which I had. The 1/4" ratchet in your set is the wrong one. It should have the round "tri-wing" head one. I was also given a 1981 Craftsman #65053 rolling cabinet and a 1983 Snap On KRA59F top chest with tools for nothing as well. I just had to put drawer clips on the Craftsman to make the drawer stay on track and roll and the SO box needed one slide replaced which SO sent me at no charge. I also scored a 1969 Craftsman ten drawer top chest in very nice shape, complete with keys and original paperwork and filled with nice tools for $45 on Ebay. It was over an hour away, but a friend picked it up for me and I met him at work to pick it up.

@@Ford-tv More than likely found at an estate sale or yard sale. I've gotten lucky over the years. My coworker wanted to downsize and he was selling his parents' home so he offered me the toolbox and tools. We travel together for work, as he coordinates all of the business trips that I go on. During dinner over the years, he said, "You're going to have to come over the house one day and go through all that stuff". That came this year when his mother passed away and they were selling the house. He said, "If you don't take it, I'm going to scrap it". He then told me to take both boxes and any tools I wanted. I've since sent him photos of it cleaned up a bit. I've left the patina and stickers on it, but it now rolls and slides and the bottom locks the way it should. It's a Craftman on the bottom and a Snap On up top. I had all of the parts to fix the Craftsman, I just had to get keys made up for a lock I had. Easy to do on Ebay. Then I had SO send me some parts for the top box and I was up and running.

@@Ford-tv & in 1975 the F-150 came out which was a heavy duty half ton pickup at the time because the base F-100s were still in production up through 1983 which was 3 years after the 7th generation F-series pickups first started being produced. In 1978 new square shaped headlamps came out which came standard on the Ranger models, & the Custom models had round shaped headlamps. 1978 was also the first year for the 2nd generation Bronco & the last year for round shaped headlamps. In 1979, the square shaped headlamps were on all the models.

I recently bought a 79 F-150, and the steering wheel is also disintegrating. On the ones after yours, they started using a kind of plastic that seems to turn to styrofoam over time. The back part of the steering wheel where the horn button used to go just crumbles under touch. My 85 Crown Victoria column cover is made out of the same stuff. The outside of the wheel is pretty good though, kinda like yours.

Oh cool, yeah it sucks and the same way here with not only the Ford f100s but 70s Chevy c10s are just as bad but sticky.
