It seems that single shot-single point autofocus is decent and continuous is unusable. It would be interesting to know how thick you need your DOF for a subject walking toward you on a 35mm equivalent focal for a full body environmental set of shots… The appeal of the GFX is also the DOF-Bokeh, but if you are limited in the contexts you can use it… it is a problem. I’m going to rent one to test with the 55 f1.7 I think…
I've been watching your more recent videos and came across this somewhat older review of this incredible lens. I was fortunate to get one native to the Fujifilm platform. For whatever reason, if I sell my Fuji gear for a new kit, this will be a lens I have to have, or its latest autofocus version. Great seeing how far your channel and presentation has grown, but one thing is consistent - your excellent photos and composition.

Chris, when I view a still photo on the camera I want ONE histogram. I can't get rid of the FOUR histograms currently shown (red, blue, green, white.) How can I get just one white histogram in play-back mode?

Hi Chris ! I'm unearthing this a bit! I'm mostly shooting film and want to start going digital soon as I'd to do a bit of professional work soon, mainly street/fashion lookbooks. I highly prefer small rangefinder like cameras and was interested in the xpro/xe lines. Xpro 1 is said to be too slow and maybe the resolution is not high enough for print, so I'm considering xpro2/xe3 now, do you think xe3 could do it ? Even though people might think a small camera can't do the work.... thanks for your feedback!
Absolutely. I used the XE3 for many projects. Probably not sports of fast action tho it’s not lacking much behind, but depending on your projects I think you should give it a try. If video is not a requirement, XPro2 and XT3 are still workhorses for many.
(Commenting on a now 2-year old video 😊): I bought a Nikon D300 less than 6 months ago. For one : I have no money 😂. But in all seriousness, the D300 has a great reputation and still takes great photos. Looking to improve my photography skills and get a few decent lenses before considering buying a new or at least more recent body.
I have used it - its compatible with my Tamron 24-70mm f2.8 but doesnt work with Nikon 50mm f1.8, Nikon 70-210 F2.8 or Sigma 105mm F2.8 . So no you cant adapt lenses. Its frankly a total disaster.

Hi. I just got an X-t10. Yes, in 2023! I got a Samurai DSLR Mc digital 52mm 0.5 wide lens with Macro lens with it. I'm trying to figure out what adapter or other accessories do you I need to attach it to my camera. Would you please help me? Thank you!
AF-D auto focus doesn’t work with the adapter. Nikon lost me as a mirrorless customer at that point. Bought a used D810 and possibly if I need a replacement I may even trade up for Sony A7iii which is incredibly cheap compared to a Z6ii
I just got this camera and I love the size of it. I've tried a couple of recipes, but the output doesn't look so good like yours. I dug a little deeper and realized that the X-M1 has a unique oddity: it has a first generation X-Trans sensor, but a second generation image processor (EXR II processor). It seems like this camera compares to the X-Trans II with the JPGs. What's your experience? Did you have to tweak the recipes a little bit, or use the X-Trans II recipes? If so, can you share your settings for them? Thanks! 🙌😊
Im not sure about Fujis Auto focus, my friend and I shoot weddings with Fuji and the 16-55mm give us the worst results especially in backlit situations the lens seems to back focus a lot. the 50-140mm is better but the only reason we persist using Fuji apart from being cheaper compared to FF is because of the very capable & sharp primes 18mm, 33mm and the 56mm WR these are terrific, there not perfect the Auto focus still stuffs occasionally but they perform a lot better even compared with some of the Fullframe lenses i had when i was still using Canon.
I don’t ever pay for purchased apps and trying to determine if this app is worth the money to be my first pair for app. If I’m not a photographer but interested in this app, is it worth the $6.99 price? I take pictures but not a photographer by any means.I also like weather apps so with that being said can you share any advice or input if it would be worth a shot for myself? Can I benefit from it not being a photographer? Thank you!
What I like the most of my X100T is its ability to guarantee great shots with perfect whites and colours in JPEG mode. I haven't used it often, but took it out yesterday and am really amazed once again!
