🎬🎬 Could something like a Frankenstein/Poor Things type book work for the Dead Man Walking prompt? Are you planning any readathon updates/check ins? I would love to see how you are getting along! I am fascinated by how you keep all your readathons organized!
Hey! Yes I’m planning on doing updates in my vlogs for all the Readathons I’m taking part in! The only way I keep track of them all is through my reading journal as I plan everything in there. Maybe I’ll share in my vlogs my journal spreads for each Readathon 🫶🏻
There is a book that would fit the prompt for Dead Man Walking called Here Lies a Vengeful Bitch by Codie Crowley. No zombies. It is about a girl who gets killed and comes back to avenge her death. I really enjoyed it. I don't like zombies either. 🎬
I am so excited for you to go to Disney World. I only was there one time to do the princess thing when my daughter was young. My parents have a place on the west coast so I have been to FL a lot. If you can do any trips outside of the park, try to go to one of the springs. You are going to be there towards the end of the peak season to see manatees! Thanks for the update vlog! I am so glad your bunny is doing well.
@@UncommonKim I finally figured out the way to change my @ address. It is still me-just with a name that makes sense! The springs are amazing and manatees are such precious mammals!
I finished reading Lady Midnight last week and relieved that I had the audiobook to help me finish the book. Such a good story so far but I have a feeling I may cry by the end of the trilogy. I felt the same way about The House In The Cerulean Sea and can't wait to read the sequel.
I have also loved the dark artifices story so far I think just this last book is really going to be a struggle for me personally, I will finish it one day 🙂
So excited for this, just posted my tbr too and so excited to get cracking. Also I hope you love a House with good bones, it’s one of my all time favourites
I think I might try this challenge :) going to do the romantasy one as well so I might try and get these challenges done my the end of January next year :)
@UncommonKim not a pro, but read a lot. I would try the Institute. It's newer and centred around young teens. I'd definitely start with a newer one, and if you like it, pick something else kind of newer before delving into his 80s & 90s stuff. I'm keen to see how you get on x
This looks so exciting, the shades of London series got me back into reading as a teen, I keep thinking about reading the truly devious series but haven’t got round to it just yet
I love the shades of magic series 🥰 I also 100% recommend the truly devious series if you enjoy mystery or want to get into it, it’s definitely worth it 🙂
I love T kingfisher too. Very much an auto buy author for me. Also I love your vibe so much ❤ God of the woods is also on my tbr for literally dead book club and also the coverswithcassidy’s spooky seasonal challenge
If you need any recommendations I’ve just put together my tbr for it. I found most of the options relatively easy apart from tech on the cover that took me hours 😂
the will of the many HAS had a cover change if you wanted to swap out the honey witch for poisonous plant lol but i love this tbr!! thank you for sharing <3
Don’t forget if you read books for non-required prompts you earn five guild reputation points like extra credit. The vampire book is a prompt for Lore.
This is so exciting!!! I’ve been waiting to attend this semester and it comes during the best time of the year ☺️🤍 love seeing how excited you are!! cannot wait to see all your readathon videos and book wrap ups!
love watching magical readathon tbrs!! i need to film mine soon 😅 love how you slightly made it difficult for yourself with the prompt jar hahaha i'm trying to fit god of the woods in my tbr too!
I feel your exact reaction to The Dark Artificies trilogy. I am just starting it and excited to get to the next trilogy as well. Cassandra Clare can write a great story. I am planning to read Lady Midnight from September to December. I am planning to read Wolfsong in October so excited to hear your thoughts if you get to it. Good luck on your tbr!
That's a BIG tbr! Hope you'll get out of the reading slump soon. I am hoping to work on my tbr this week. 🤞 *here's a sweet potato emoji 'cause I could not find pumpkin lol🍠
