If the specialist doesn’t communicate with me efficiently they will not get another patient from me and I’ve even removed them from the case. Generalist is the ‘quarterback’ holding the helm of the treatment plan. Awesome podcast guys
What you could have done is use the corded Valo for yourself and gave her the cordless.. that would have really surprised her.. I'm sure you fired her by now though. lol
So for DIY at home.. the cheap ch^nese light putting out 1000 still works fine.. just add a little more time with it; and methodical about the coverage because it has smaller cone of fire.
Conversations such as this are very important for patients- especially the ones who want to understand how their surgeon operates and what they’re actually looking at. Thank you!
Guyssss i have a complicated situation with a sinusitis since August , i need your insight on this, cause betwin my eyes, troat and ears, my alergologist and my endodontic dentist, they cannot figure it out what starts what, i have a sinusitis since august, already had it in May and it passed with antibiotics, but now, since august, already took 5 or 6 rounds of antibiotics and nothing works. Also made nasal sprays, washing the nose regularly, oral cortisone for about 5 days, always the same, or worse. Very high pressure on face, all stuffed. Made a TC that detected an infection in a tooth, (the last molar on the right side), they send me to a ododontist, she made me a root canal, she said that my tooth was dead, i believe her because when she started to drill it a faul smell started to emerge....bur the strangest thing is that i never got any pain. My Ododotist said that most likely it was the sinusitis that got to the tooh, ( the tissues around it were all inflamed). What do you think? How fast can a sinusitis kill a tooth ? or do you think it was the other way around? My root canal was made yesterday so it is a little early to say that i got better from it. Sorry for the long "essay" , but it has been really dificult and scary to not know what is wrong and conssistentelly losing quality of life over it. Thank you
Wow please contact me. I’m trying to bring a more accessible dental education to Pinal county arizona--- I came from L.a. she is one of my mentors!!!!!!! OSCSC interview Roy yantase next!!!!!!!
I just love the vibe and energy you guys share in this podcast. I have been following you guys on and off. But the Book Club of the Zero Bone Loss series is the one, I follow from the first episode and it really help shed light on modern implant dentistry.
I find their gutta cones have poor tolerances. Quality control issues. Id pay more for less frustration. Also I never reuse any files. once opened they get tossed after each patient. Period. Also. Guttacore, thermafill whatever the core carrier absolutely suck. use a master cone and buy a system to sear and backfill. Dont be lazy. Plastic carriers fail at an incredible rate. Ask pretty much any honest endodontist.
Hello guys, could you please include the main themes of your discussion in the video titles? It would help us a lot to decide whether it is worth watching till the end. Thx!
Could you pls enlighten all of implantologists , about which is the best system in Europe ? is it Straumann or B&B etc. Also can you pls elaborate the pros and cons of both Neodent and B&B Implant systems. Thks
Good topic. I’m not sure I can get away without numbing a patient in order to pumice the prep. I numb for almost every crown delivery with a vital tooth. Also, Panavia SA Universal has some great chemistry and research behind it, as do most products from Kuraray.
The research is getting better each day to support evaluating the structures around the teeth with a team approach. As an orthodontist we must ask why are teeth not straight -
Like many things in life, you get what you pay for and you don't know what you don't know. These statements ring extra true with all technology in my opinion, especially digital dentistry. JustSamsung, etc) manipulation versus plain text messages. This is something I would consider when buying a scanner... Side note, if you're considering buying or still using a scanner that still uses powder, those "work" but it's time to put the original iPhone down and experience what else is out there! Cool to see your passion about dentistry!
Hi I appreciate all the info you guys have shared. I have a small denture clinic in B.C. Canada. Just looking to get into scanning for now & milling possibly down the line. Being about year after your post and the comments about waiting has anything changed & what would be a cost effective basic interoral scanner. we do a lot of mobile offsite work so portability is important. Cheers
