"They came to my gallery... Why?" - I'd say you asked all vampires of London to come... so I guess "be careful what you wish for" or "pick your guests?"
Lol, how are you going to make things better? I'll demand a boon of the person who just frenzied at you, for implicating him in treachery. Well Obasi kind of oversold there by demanding a life boon for helping her save Squid, and paid for being unreasonable in his life boon with Audrey. This Bristol is so broken that people need to offer Life Boons to tell why somebody was committing treachery against their sect and the domain. Now Teech's plan is actually an interesting one of have a vote where the majority is already decided, both for Bristol and his own domain rights out at sea. Still so weird Janusz doesn't view feeding as giving death purpose. So what happens here when Janusz has max will agg on the trip home? Chronicle 2 established the Beckoning started 50+ years ago, in this chronicle universe, how would there be enough Sabbat left to matter on an Atlantic island? Insult Tremere Sorcery and uses Animalism as your sorcery..... Then get staked because you can't take your failure and willpower damage. Clearly this coterie is not great at combat, but more relies on good luck. Huh so I guess you're implying Rose was using Dark Thaumaturgy, with that vision of the spell book seeming tainted, and it would explain the enhanced power over creatio ignis. Not to mention the odd wards. After that poor showing with multiple elders they are so lucky they got to hyper time book keeping deal with the SI cell. Not surprising the Priest wasn't the King, and Nanjizal having fallen for the cult indoctrination walked right into it. Further not surprising that necklace was her dad's fetter, and Nanjizal got the booby prize for hitching her wagon to a demon worshiping Pagan Cult. Matilda seems to be the most go nowhere character, lower humanity, doesn't have her office and traded a life boon for another two life boons. Diarmuid and Carl both seem to achieved the most with little time given sharing a slot, even if Carl's achievement was just surviving. Well in absence of Carlos to make a player character I think Janusz has won the things look like they worked out well for you award, but there are consequences coming, given killing off the independent SI cell and corrupting a church, now means True Faith Society of Leopold will be showing up, and given the state of the UK as the strongest SI stronghold, likely the future tech armed and armored SI as well. Not to mention that clay statue will break eventually and he will then have a multiple pissed off wraith issue. Also that is the end of this multifaction coterie, given Carl is gone, Diamuid can't, Matilda can't (for 5 years), and Nanjizal is dead. Over all a good chronicle 3. Honestly I think I end up at a 3, 2, 1 in my order of favorites, though the gap between 3/2 is a lot smaller than chronicle 1 taking 3rd place.
Man trying to gaslight the guy you tried to kill into the bad guy, instead of the person trying to cult indoctrinate his girl friend. Of course even when Diarmuid goes for a walk there he is too freaked to investigate further. ...... I'll put my teeth as a replacement for his mouth. Yeah Teech is an idiot, mariner gangrel exist to disprove his point. Then there are Lasombara who intentionally go to extreme depths to commune with the Abyss. Plus kindred can better equalized the pressure, since they don't need air in the lungs. Where the heck are they going, ships can cross the Atlantic in under a month. Plus why would the whole crew of kindred stay up in the event of a delay, as food shortage is one of the reasons to enter willing torpor. Man this boat is becoming a crisscross of backstabs and schemes intersecting. This doesn't make much sense how Robert Smith's actions were justified, when the story is the Prince was attacked first by a frenzying bujah. Lol, bending the dominate rules to get a "confession". Now Janusz is learning why Tzimitzsce don't migrate. Man this has a lot to cover in 1 more episode. Though I guess they could all die at seas with that frenzy from Nanjizal.
I don't think Janusz gets awakening Kupala in a new land just means within a month Bristol is a nuclear crater sunk into the sea, that supernaturals cover up as a natural disaster. Janusz is so lucky Diarmund is too freaked out by Janusz's estate to end up finding Nanjizal's father. Lol, Dairmuid chose Duchess' more reasonable sized "cousin" as a guard dog. So I guess you're going with Fortify the Inner Façade, causes the Premonition Black Hole. Yep this system is broken when the library will final death a kindred for going against an unreasonable boon, especially one that could start a sect war. Not surprising Janusz went with brainwashing the guy from the church Nanjizal sent.
I like that you still treat a messy crit as a crit instead of all consequences, this feels like a beastial fail. Yep Diarmuid, sparing Mitchel is going to have consequences for Nanjizal. Man I don't have time to answer your question, while trying to walk by them is pretty much confirming your responsible through action. Then just getting mad at everybody when they call you out or question you. You know I wonder what Nanjizal's story plan was before she hitched her wagon to the cult and became an extension of Janusz's story. Okay so agreed to the task, but then immediately tell somebody else, to try and set up a double cross. Still don't get the mandate of secrecy with boons given there is no way to keep the system honest if you have to keep them hidden. Also you points out even more how stupid tenents that restrict your ability to politic and plot are.
Another missing from the playlist oddity. So hard to say if Obasi is being true of seeking justice for his sire or just wants Robert gone to start a sect war. Now that he says she'll be part of a group ,more information gathering, and not directly doing it, it sounds more reasonable for a Life Boon. Nathaniel is quite a shame, given its hard to say how much of him is his distraction by his care for Robert. Not surprising the alternative for Matilda is your forced to come home and be my replacement childe. Lol, the first time Nanjizal is hearing proper tzimitzsce paranoia. Charlie is such a wierdo, elder and yet never met a Malkavian. Honestly skinwalker fits garu/fera more than Tzimitzsce. Sigh so much trusting a demon rather than knowledge and wisdom in blood sorcery. Oooff now there is another bad Caitiff, in Muerry. Yeah Diarmuid really didn't think that through using electric wire and an office chair to restrain a Brujah. Luckily Diarmuid has some Nathaniel's belief that the why matters and Mitchell's grandsire being present in the city smoothed the situation. Well, not the Tremere's fault when you weren't willing to pay a fair price for a blood sorcery services and insulted a Sherriff and Regent by drawing a weapon on them. Weird Charlie didn't have a frenzy check learning Nanjizal is the one who betrayed Mitchell. Awe did the power of Kupala fail against the power of the Tremere, meaning Charlie could have awakened him without the ritual.
Yep that was beyond likely that doing this leads to Ragnar's appointment being rescheduled for immediate future. The irony is this kind of helps Matilda's friend and harms Nanjizal's attempt to get him dead, given the Malk and one other are on him. Kind of interesting for a Malkavian Prince who was actively a seer. Shame he doesn't have the clarity to tell what the meeting will be about. Also kind of explains why he seems so overwhelmed and stuttery. Well that fits with what it seemed from Chronicle 1 that Annie didn't sound like them. Huh the random kindred Janusz met actually showed up and was more useful than just a meat head. Well turned out she missed the ball with this pandemic as it was meh, but not Black Death comparable. Well that makes some sense when the sects threw three kindred under the bus for their unity and that included her and somebody she loved. I get its a life boon, but violate a major tradition, and kill your elder sect leader feels beyond a life boon.
Oh Hubert, such a weird kindred. If you had time for letters you had time to take an unscheduled meeting on clan business. Then lol the Prince was the Court Seer, until fine Hubert called us. Dude got burned by magic flames, that is a get a Tremere, not get ice situation. Nanjazil really doesn't get how bad this will look for her to betray somebody she promised to help get out of the city to the Cam, and all because you're angry he stands in the way of your brainwashing his girlfriend. Wonder if she also considered the person she is betraying could try offering a life boon for mercy. You this is why I think the Humanity Roll needs changed to 1 + empty dice rolled so there is a meaningful difference between full of stains and 1 left in remorse. All the Kupala worship and then kindred prayer actually saves a life from hunger frenzy. Yeah 2 people have been poaching Cam territory kind makes it obvious which 2. Not surprising Dairmuid isn't so keen on Janusz's plans for the SI.
Nice cameo from Carl, though yeah not much new information. Can't help, but feel Celerity Janusz would be, "He's moving so fast at brisk mall walking speed." Oooff of course you made one of Matilda's friends once of the Anarch Assailants. Yeah makes sense Obasi would try and blag his way out of how much a problem Caleb's action are. Though he does have a point if he can sell things as Caleb was blood bonded or dominated by Annie. Now Caleb being a caitiff that is an excuse to the Cam, since Caitiff always prove they can't be trusted. Says its not a cult, but the leader acts like a cult leader. Then Nanjizal being the I'm only happy with this cult if I'm the chosen one. Ending that appears to explain the title of the next video.
Nobody actually gave Matilda any authority, given the election was called off by the polls being attacked, and in Roger's absence the Anarchs put the former Primogen in charge, so I don't think the Library claim stands on that Accord. Waking 3 Pre Cam old First Inquisition Elders in modern nights to fight the SI would make things far worse than they were. Those are the people you awake if the Masquerade is completely broken and kindred are in the all or nothing scenario. Matilda talking him down may have saved Bristol. Reparations are better than a sect war, caused by Matilda not keeping the larger group of Anarchs busy. While not good for her political career, Anarchs that act to the extreme, while their leadership is in question, are liabilities to the Anarchs. Man holy citicals batman, on the stealth mission. Why they chose you Zane is you're a weak willed individual, who can be influenced by a demon and the supernatural in general.
How does a kindred not learn about what torpor means in their first few decade. Just because your a kindred xenophobe doesn't mean your anti-Londoner paranoia was grounded in reality, rather than unreasonable hatred of a "foreigner". Lools like somebody forgot the victim in the coterie domain was a Cam Ventrue. Yep you're definitely a butt hurt partisan, if you want to call the Society of Leopold a part of the Cam. Fairly sure your warning may have helped cause her to seek out Caleb, so not sure the assessment is correct she failed to heed your warning. Really he torped Roger Smith, without further evidence. Now this is why you don't let Autaurks have a say in things as it just ends in a mess.
Manifestos aren't new things, they just called them pamphlets. Not sure if Diarmuid is just afraid of appearing supporting change, by the Cam by participating, or if he's really that opposed. Weirder that the Autaurkis supports strong man rule. Also weirder that kindred aren't even close to ancillae have such an issue understanding democracy. Also while direct democracy and kindred is bad, since the will of the masses is degeneracy and do whatever I want, limited democracy would be a half decent idea. Basically where if you get a 3/4 vote of no confidence you can remove an ineffectual Primogen and then the Prince can nominate 2 kindred as their replacement. Then similarly if 3/4 of the Primogen and Seneschal agree the Prince isn't doing their job they can vote them out and the Primogen and Seneschal then vote on one of their own as a replacement. Also that you need at least 4 clan members for a primogen, and all clans too small for a primogen clans get 1 collective primogen slot. Surprised it took this long for the vote discussion to end at social combat. Disagree with your assessment that the compulsion counts against this, as at its core its getting somebody to acquiesce to the Venture's agenda. Arrogance doesn't say they have to get obeyed without a good reason, just that you have to get somebody to obey. Somehow not surprising when this 3 sect system ties the hands of people to act when the domain is under attack that somebody attacks the election. Anarchs are scared by the attacks and he's trying to help them flee Bristol, that isn't incompetent that is political savvy to reduce the Anarch numbers. Guess that explains why Annie didn't show up to the Cobweb call for the party. Though does that make her a koldun or a Lure of Flames thaumataurge. Okay so Dairmuid has a celtic mythology bane.
Still don't get what kind of a backwards system makes boons confidentially a law, when if anything the stability of a domain requires a certain transparency to protect the system from collapse due to manipulation. I get the Madness Network likes fun, but still is hosting a party and trying to manipulate a vote the best use of that power. Honestly surprised Janusz took so well to Dairmuid's music. Apparently the Madness Network feels bad for the fledgling you're ganging up on with those few successes on Dementation. Well that seems to be confirmation Carl's Blood Queen vision. Also seems to imply we aren't dealing with a potence or protean clan, given they had to saw off the head with the knife. You're honestly punishing it if you say meeting somebody for non-kindred purposes is violating domain. Of course Diarmund accidentally drew the Prince. Not sure Reginald will take that as a learning experience as much as he has 2-5 new enemies. To be fair using roads, rivers, and landmarks for drawing domains makes sense, given it removes arguing over the property line. Lol, was that a dig at how Tidus constantly had Moses' security system compromised in Chronicle 1, when describing the hooded figure.
Surprised Janusz didn't have to make a roll that he's hiding something about her father. Like "fathers are important until they get in the cult leader's way and then they get thrown in the river". Hmm... or is his Bane manifested by believing he sees mythical creatures. Dear lord implementing yourself involved in an unauthorized destruction isn't major boon territory, especially from a young fledgling. This is just stupid to try and cover up a murder nobody would believe a fledgling could do.
Not surprising the Autuarkis leader didn't take not being told about the SI until 5 months later well. Hmm... Diarmund gets uneasy, by a lack of technology. Some type of Tech Dependency manifestation of the Malkavian Bane. Not surprising that you ritually sacrifice two people and now the Tzimitzsce Wraith evolves into a Banshee. Man throwing so much shade without admitting he knows your a kindred and you know he's SI and implicated in destroying the first cult. Wonder if Dairmond or Nanjizal will finally start to work out, in the future, what Janusz did to her dad's wraith, whose only crime was trying to protect his daughter from joining a pagan demon cult.
Of course we went back to this scene for the replacement Cam. Not surprising sacrificing people to a demon leads to stain town, even if they aren't SI. Seriously though you took the Mithras Conviction. Way to burn through all 3 convictions in this homebrew though. Also kind of points out why the RAW system doesn't want you to be able to reduce stains to 0. Calling stuffed plushies distasteful. I think Janusz is just jealous he didn't have enough stuffed critters as a kid, or that the dogs would just eat them as toys. Lol, lost a humanity gained a cult tattoo. Well that now leaves the question of would Janusz frenzy at modern club music. Seriously 5+ years and nobody had the security camera talk with Janusz yet. Weird that Carl's replacement is somebody who may have been his coterie rival if he was still in Bristol.
Man, says a lot when the Nos and Library use the homeless of Bristol for kindred services but can't be bothered to shell out the cash to see them fed each day, and have a homeless shelter to go back to. Janusz is gambling her how much the spirits hate the SI over how much they take offense to his disrespect. Not surprising the SI knows of Janusz's haven. Nor that having a pagan cult with live ins and raided in the past means your haven's designs are compromised. Doggies to the rescue. This is SI is why you just go with acid and caustic chemicals, doesn't matter if the supernatural is weak to holy water it still burns them, so those without the weakness can't intercept it and be fine. Well given the boon won't be worth much if they confront Caleb on dumping the body that is probably for the best to dump it on getting Carl out. Well ghouling SI only to mentally break them anyway to get the information. Well so we're skipping to Lasombara. Still feels weird that there is a time jump right after they get handed the investigation.
Personally I'd say a one and done burner phone is more suspicious than just frequently changing a burner. Oh my a toreador getting rid of a guest, through being sensual to a degree to cause severe awkwardness. Have to agree with the coterie that its hysterical that Nanjizal thinks Annie is to blame for the SI. Of course they'd agree to turn a major boon into agree with me on a minor detail that lets you do what you want to anyway. Still seems so stupid having a tenant that punishes politicking and making deals.
Well so you kept the homebrew for assists. Also like your putting normal crits pair before a messy crit. Ironically a ventrue feeding outside their bane pallet, with a hunger frenzy actually does feel like a decent Messy Crit for a Ventrue. Yeah after adding another Masquerade Breach and feeding to the clean up, a Major Boon for the clean up does make more sense now. Feels weird you gave the Banu Haqim to Autarurkis. Christine really should be a ventrue, but to somebody more respected than Matilda. While their generally funny you wonder how much time will be lost by the end of the chronicle on these Carl song breaks. Anything is possible, but powers of the blood requires far less magic hoodooy than the Old Gods (and a demon) empower you. Ah so there comes the Banu Haqim.
I think I like that home brew that the chasse also counts as a coterie herd pool. Now that is a more normal vague premonition vision. A city in this chronicle universe that has a kindred cleaner to deal with Masquerade Breaches, what madness is this. Though a major boon for a few people seems a bit of an overkill. Janusz is so lucky he got homebrew Tzimitzsce and koldun instead of the V5 rules (yes I get it wasn't technically out, but still its like getting thaumaturgy instead of Blood Sorcery). Of course the ventrue is to sensible to go along with his nonsense though. Sigh Carl is so lucky his sister is somebody who should have been embraced by a Ventrue, when he doesn't even care a scammer is spending his money. Whelp you gave a compulsion and now the Ministry is gonna Ministry, even though that is a terrible time to try and make a coterie mate frenzy. Luckily Carl willingly killed him. Well that isn't good for Carl, but why did that guy think holy water would do something to a sexual predator. Lol, Your clan is disappointed in you for joining somebody else's cult.
Still don't get the 5 year time jump, with where the story left off. Lol granted the rank of Primogen over yourself. Obasi kind of screwed himself there trying to rush the refugees along. Yep not a cult, but the cult leader is trying to bind the spirit of Nanjizal's father without telling her he exists. How exactly does a kindred start a law office without a mortal lawyer, given you can't go to most courts? Sure you lost your mythic flaw, but you had to join a demon worshiping pagan cult, and your cult is hurting your friends. Not surprising we have a time skip and somebody ended up aa scapegoat for the diablerie. Of course you make a pagan cult and it winds up at sex between the members. See I knew a 5 year time skip wouldn't solve the murder problem.
Sigh public space and you add Awe to add to a roll about giving a ghoul blood. A major boon seems rather overkill here, given nothing kindred was done over the phone. Okay well that obviously wasn't acid, else your attacker wouldn't be surprised by it burning somebody. So looks like Carl took a mythic bane for holy water. Huh, wonder how Nanjizal's father fits into Janusz's cult. Seesh go to the Primogen's place after you're attacked. That is just asking for problems. Oh so the architect toreador from chronicle 1 survived. Hmm... Interesting, if Christine still feels the bond to David he mightn't be dead. Over all seems a bit less hectic than chronicle 1/2, with more character focus. Weird that there is a time jump though when we feel in the middle of so many stories.
Oh my Carl really can't help it with the Masquerade Breaching songs. Beyond that Carl really is winning the good host award of the coterie. What kind of Cam Primogen doesn't want their sect to become dominant, just because it rocks the boat for Autarks and Anarchs. Not surprising she has a life boon when she was on the verge of a blood hunt. Fairly if your both coming to a boon keeper with a boon of the same size the average one would tell you to get lost and stop wasting their time for a 0 sum. ..... Faction above all, shouldn't apply to something that is just an unfounded rumor, based on a vision. Also points out how stupid that tenant is for giving you stains for not jumping to conclusions. Weird that Bristol has never even dealt with coterie boons before. Well Carl did that with limited fuss.
Hmm... This one was missing from the playlist. Your friendly Camarilla PSA, "Yes the SI is the Nosferatu's fault." Weird talking of hospitality when the host is constantly asking when you will leave in a hostile manner. Nanjizal is such an anti-Ministry, since usually you have to make them leave you alone, because they want your trust to influence you. Says a lot when the only one who wants to stay is the one you're brainwashing to join a cult. Then the Anarch Ventrue has to try and salvage the situation. Yep the Tremere was able to point out that isn't a regular ward, based on modern Thaumaturgy. Clarence is so right that Nanjizal is lucky nobody's staked her for the sun. So weird seeing somebody actually sing as a Toreador.
Of course you finger the Tremere, even though he's being so observed he wouldn't have time to commit a diablerie and then set a ward. I get you're trying to be Masquerade compliant, but you're destroying the scene of a crime without thorough investigation. How is a derelict army barracks cultural heritage? That is kind of ironic a ghost hunter being embraced, and then potentially realizing a lot of "ghosts" are likely an obfuscated kindred. Poor Annie, being corrupted by heresy of other Sects and a Koldun Pagan. Luckily the Hound showed up before Janusz destroyed all the evidence.
Man Naj is really pushing for the Londoners that stay to unit and remove kindred like her, with so much blatant hostility. A Sherriff/Scourge actually doing their job in this chronicle's universe, what madness is this. Puppies don't change your trying to use a fledgling malkavian as your meat shield and/or cultist. Items placed to make a ward isn't thaumaguary/blood sorcery, that is regular sorcery. Janusz's solution also seems to confirm this is homebrew koldunism, since that doesn't match powers of koldun I know of. Looks like plotline arc 1 includes a kindred murder mystery. Though not sure how you can tell a dead kindred is a victim of diablerie by looks.
Weird that the Ministry is the one being corrupted, by another's cult influence. Carl is lucky nobody else heard that song. Try and keep 4 desperate kindred locked in a basement. That would end real well, especially when you have your Anarch is a tradition breaking runaway, and selling the Ministry and Tzimitzsce conspired with her to try and kill you would be an easy defense for why 3/4 of the coterie are dead and that domain should now be theirs. Awe no hints on survivors of the season 1 London kindred, other than the female Hound. That may be a problem if she stays given they have a demon worshiping paganist in the coterie. Yes, Anarch Ventrue should be ashamed of the social gaffe of admitting what they are in front of a Cam Ventrue.
Why the heck did you take the running water flaw in a coastal river city. Fairly sure this is before the Blood Sigils book so homebrew Koldunism I take it.
Blech a chronicle tenants that encourge political stagnancy just feels so anti-jyhad and kindred. Dear lord this herald is invasive with his questions, many kindred would stake him for the sun for prying so much. Also who puts a malkavian in charge of boons and record keeping. Okay so this is more of an established neonates game. Because kine bureaucracy wasn't bad enough this domain added kindred bureaucracy to doing basic functions. Seriously a smuggler took the running water flaw. Wait his court? What happened to Sabine. So we've had Fall of London.
Lol, I'm an Anarch by choice and political conviction. Really ran away because she illegally embraced, because she drained a kine in hunger frenzy, and then broke another tradition and was facing a blood hunt. Yep leave it to a toreador to decide their embrace on flattery and favorite flower. Leave it to the Ministry to have spent all their money on excess that they need a fly by night dingy smuggler, than a proper cargo ship, private boat, or cruise ship. Then make the poor decision to embrace instead of ghoul the people. Man Janus sounds like somebody who belongs in a Medieval to First Inquisition game, more than a modern one.
Man Mitch's mike is so much softer or more muddled. Really dislike you going off the notion, your Oxford Elders are hopelessly flummoxed by modern technology. Elders aren't mental invalids who can't solve basic logic problems. Not surprising so many of your elders were morally bankrupt Humanity below the average stabilization point of 4/5. Honestly rather surprised you put Seth at 2, instead 4 as he never really came off as somebody at wight degeneration. Okay Theodore reaching BP 3 makes sense if he was 9th, but not sure why he had to be 9th instead of adding another rung between him and Meliore. Eh Darren more committed suicide, blowing up a building he was in. Huh, never realized Maisy was the girl that tried to run over Joanne, seemed like it could have been the child ventrue girl. Well season 3 could have been about the SI, if Carlos didn't have Theodore and Phil have Silas drive the plot in a very specific direction by being an unreasonable zealot, with obtuse logic, even after he dealt with his Amago and Naluto problem. I get patreons and stuff require giving something, but I think we've seen why you could never get through all the stuff you wanted, when you were giving so much control to your backers, including stuff that majorly could warp the plot. Really you have the Beckoning start in the 1960s that just feels weird, and kind of undermines the whole chronicle that 50 years latter there are still so many elders in Oxfordshire. WTF Drogo the statue, who barely spoke for himself, and was most active in combat, was humanity 3. ...... The Bowman didn't have a single dot 5 discipline, and looking at this sheet I'm not seeing how he recovered from Theodore throwing him fast enough to make a stab at the same time as Helena's initial attack. Oh so cool that Helena reverse possesed the Bowman. Wow Oxfordshire is even more screwed. I just thought what you went with was The Bowman kept her chained up for feeding and that screams in the woods comment was her in hunger frenzy. Man Carlos is really the king of creating characters who things seem to end well for them in the final session, but they have major consequences coming to them. Huh really seemed like Drogo diablerized Thomas, not he truly left, but then again The Beckoning starting in the 60s is weird, and seems to undermine this whole universe, due to how many I should be effected elders were in Chronicle 1/2, who should have been gone 50 years later. Don't get why Seth wouldn't have moved back to the Americas, so he can be more free to be his southern gun blasting self. To be fair Theodore only didn't lose humanity in session because you suspended part of a chronicle tenant effectively for season 3, when it would have mattered for him going on his anti Amago and Helena campaign.
Not surprising the bowman is likely a near wight, if he's a serial diablerist. Dear lord Theodore why do you want Silas to take the Bowman's precious, when your not helping in the fight you don't need baggage slowing you down. Wonder what Dot 5(s) you gave Helena, since at 400 she should have had some, yet you gave The Bowman faster speed (enough so that he recovered from being tossed quick enough to defend), and we didn't see her use Earth Shock, Majesty, or Fist of Caine. Also wonder what BP you assigned The Bowman as I'm not sure how it could maintain a BP over 4 living in the woods with only 1 kindred to feed from, meaning the one in the coffin would BP out of its ability to feed on animals, since it can't stay in torpor. Yet again there was only one party with honor and it wasn't Oxfordshire. Not to mention it will be a hard sell to other domains they didn't just stake her in the woods, given they sent the two of the guys who killed Amago to watch her. Well the sad thing for Theodore is letting Helena get dead means your bloodline blew its chance for actual acceptance as not Sabbat, where the best you have is spend your unlife stuck in Oxfordshire, since the word of a rogue domain is meaningless. Congratulations for winning a depopulated domain, where every kindred captured in Redding will be pointing the SI towards Oxfordshire out of spite. Yeah that makes a lot of sense Velvet leans Anarch Ventrue, even if its the giving up option, but Oxfordshire isn't even Cam level functional, but stuck in pre-Camarilla times, with active hostility to change and cooperation with other domains. Man Silas is in so much trouble now wanting to embrace Jenny, but having a Nos girlfriend. Seesh Velvet dumblucked out he failed to escape with Wallace's torpored body. Not surprising Sir James chose the sleep of the ages. Yeah William always seemed the likely answer for Prince with how far up their pre-Cam tradition. Lol, so now if they ever deal with the Bowman they have a Helena problem. While its interesting to see projects used and time skips, it honestly feels a bit odd starting as fledglings and then jumping a decade. Also not sure why you bothered with homesteading rules, only to make it possible to have stacked their coterie points so much to be redundant. Plus this seemed to be the wrong type of story, being more of a story beats chronicle than events driven chronicle which makes the homesteading system kind of pointless. Taking half worked out well, but I still feel it should be on the player side rather than the ST/GM using it to give the players free wins. Overall I liked this one more than chronicle 1, since nothing reached actively pissed off above the right type of disagreement for this theme of game. However I feel pacing wise somewhere between these two chronicles would have been better. This one skipped too much which makes unlife on easy mode, and makes projects have little downside, while the other was the players never had time to breath, which made things too reactive to the crisis of the moment.
Weird this one was missing from the chronicle playlist. Though another episode was doubled. Dear lord Theodore, asking for Null/Empty Resonance is pretty much revealing your a user of Oblivion. Man Silas is going to have issues if he actually does ghoul his touchstone and she finds out he's dating a Nos. Even more issues when for obvious reason the Nos hates the Siren predator type. Oh Theodore, Spark of Raging the group, or letting him get distracted feeding on neonates, is a very viable strategy. Especially since as long as she can disable the Boon Keeper afterwards, getting a Forgetful Mind kindred from Redding, and/or blood bonding him, she can make the Boon Keeper say whatever she wants. So Oxfordshire has known where to find The Bowman for all this time and Drogo and the Knights sat on their hands doing nothing. Theodore's hostility has reached comical, and ironic that in trying to shut down conversation he causes more of it. Then you just set yourself up for the retort on how they pointlessly killed David in violation of the traditions, when torping him and stuffing him in his trunk would have done. Not surprising Drogo and the coterie's mess season 1 drew hunter attention. I can see why Theodore argued for the bonus for null resonance, but honestly I'd say if anything it would have given a penalty to resisting a logical argument. Helena has Auspex doesn't she, or at least a Redding Malkavian gave her a map, the odd way she found the cave. Dear lord Silas your 3 seasons in and don't have Celerity 1. That is a neat trick of an Earth Meld kindred though to use it to trap door ambush. Dear lord why is everybody spending so much xp on BP, Theodore's not even two decades old and at BP 3. ..... That doesn't make much sense how the Bowman can recover from being tossed quick enough for an attack against a melee strike.
Lol, you rolled well enough your disrupting the plot. Interesting that the SI has been working in Redding for over 10 years and that was their black site. Also clearly not that experianced that they got their ass kicked by a restrained kindred. Not surprising the SI Van has security and a tracker. Couldn't just leave to die in your own misery, she had to leave an admonishment for the coterie in her dissociative depression, and not even for their actions, but just being kindred and adapting to unlife. Also more proof why kindred need proper sires and/or adoptive sires. Asking somebody to eliminate the SI isn't the trial of a Prince, that is the trial of an Archon. That speech on who should rule from Theodore, makes almost no sense, given Drogo ruled, because he ruled in the past, not because he was a worthy ruler in the present. Then man shows how insular Oxfordshire is that Vienna has happened and they still think the Nosferatu are good at what they do. Lol, take care of me mom was the favor for a guest Barnabe was asking for. Though she's going to be so ashamed of Barnabae when she finds out he let the grand childer run off to die before they could meet. Huh, I would have thought the bond should be faded by now unless they kept feeding off each other in secret, or is that jus how little time has past. Weird that Theodore thinks local support means jack for who is the Regent, unless Chen Li is planning to go Carna or Ipssissimus. Well guess that explains a lot how the elders and knights of Oxfordshire are so out of touch that they don't even have to worry about managing a herd let alone hunting, and are just reliant on the Venatore Coteries. Well you invade Sally's bar she hangs out in, clear the place, and then say she's the one not treating you with respect, when dominating you into leaving is an appropriate response. Not to mention going for brute intimidation is dishonorable and how you gain enemies instead of support. Then that they go around trying to thuggery more support. A lot easier to deal with agg when you get to time skip over it. Oh Seth, oblivious but funny, yet smart enough to know Enulf is a fight he doesn't want to take. Honestly regardless of Rafe's conspiracy to put Enulf to a nap or worse, I feel like Seth would be a lot happier if he went back to the US South, where his brand of eccentric is more socially acceptable. Feels like staying in Wallace's shadow has been bad for him anyway. Not surprising Silas' touchstone ended up a ghoul, is his end goal. Honestly should have happened after surprise I'm not dead. Huh, never pictured Sir Holda's place was big enough to hold court. Well hunt an old enemy of the domain is a lot more reasonable than destroy the SI. Though still dishonorable to say as an individual she must do what a coterie normally can.
Hey William actually gets there is a big picture here, beyond just the duel, and respects his sire's decision to fight. Plus he's willing to admit Oxfordshire is playing fast and loose with the Traditions. Man Theodore keeps on the dishonorable tirade, just because he didn't like the outcome, from hyperbolic stretching the truth. Meanwhile Sir William acts rather reasonable. Then Theodore shows even more dishonor that he's willing to intimidate and threaten members of the domain to get the result he wants, instead of accepting the possibility that many non-knights aren't happy with the status quo. He also doesn't seem to get spitting in the face of the Camarilla would be forfeiting a Lasombara's chance to be welcome in anywhere but Oxfordshire. Hell Theodore is even broaching on Autaurkis Domain treason. Lol, of course Miyuki is happy at the death of Amago and Naluto. Well so Velvet actually did get Silas a new bike, but still went posh ventrue with it. If only the Chronicle 1 kindred had actually properly explored the Redding Warren, instead of doing the bare minimum and running away. Or if the ST/GM hadn't miraculously had a Nickutu show up somewhere there are no Nos left to kill. Perhaps things need not have gotten to SI, able to act so well. Of course a known corpse working with law enforcement and a vigilante, ends in the SI finding out what they are, and on top of that a touchstone is now SI. Not surprising Joanne's story ends with essentially SI assisted suicide, its why characters like this end up so boring to me, as they've given up the game of unlife before it started, and refuse to get off the doomer fatalist train, even when they have rays of hope in their kindred life. Also really don't get the player letting so many decisions up to a dice roll.
Barnabe has quiet the family and that might explain why he was embraced so young. Not surprising Sir Hulda didn't take how much things escalated and in another domain well. Good on Theodore and Ysabel being manipulative shadows in the good way with Enulf. Though that wasn't much of a succeed at a cost, given by rescuing them Theodore is basically in a position to have them give information to him via a boon. I must say Theodore just keeps doubling down on his poor argument. Now trying to claim Amago and Helena committed a war crime that invalidated the duel. Amago did not attack Oxfordshire without due process, when the matter of the issue between Oxfordshire and Redding became forefront he declared a side, in agreeing to be champion for Redding. Even if this domain survives the SI its over for them as Oxfordshire for Oxfordsire is a blatant violation of adherence to the Camarilla. Yep the Toreador has a dissociative identity crisis.
Lol, don't worry you'll get your stains latter since your mid scene. Well that is just a hilarious situation of multiple kindred bit into each other in battle. Yeah of course Velvet's talk with Enulf made him decide to abscond with Ysabel. Huh, so Wallace was trying to take out Enulf. Somebody's sudden disgust for Nosferatu, does seem to raise the likelihood he was blood bound to Drogo. Why did so many of this coterie go with premature BP increase for their xp spending. Sigh why did you dig a hole to hide the pigs, just mutilate any fang marks and you should be good, since torn to pieces there should still be some blood on the ground. Well they got rid of the fridge body and it was related to Barnabe.
Not really a memoriam, catching a player up in time. I'm not for this dishonorable attack, but good on Seth for being cut in two and still able to muster the will to keep shooting. There is only honor for one party in their battle and it wasn't the victor. Let alone Redding will have this all on security footage to send to the higher ups. Huh so Barnabe has crafts skills. Guess that is why he liked SIlas' car. Well so there is finally a kindred with Majesty. Lol spending 5 willpower to roll 2 dice. Okay did Wallace predict this or did Enulf really rig his haven with bear traps.
Your car is in another castle. Does make one wonder if Ota sent word to Amago, with him arriving last, or that there should be suspicion of that. They can keep repeating that speech but it doesn't make it any more true. There is no justice in their actions, just spiteful revenge and a fear of change. Not surprising Amago, didn't remain in Oxfordshire. Even if nobody told him it would be obvious, to a kindred so old, these dishonorable knights would seek retaliation, since kindred don't do well with extreme emotional stimuli. Now these dishonorable cowards are disrespecting the domain of Redding again. Poor David, you did your duty, only to be attacked and killed by dishonorable cowards. This has now pretty much reached a point that regardless of how this ends Oxfordshire's praxis is forfeit. Of course Naluto gets distracted by Theodore, instead of finishing putting the Tremere in torpor. Yeah blind Soaring Leap to a roof with a helicopter on it is suicidal if you don't have Flesh of Marble. Good on you for remembering using potence as a battering ram, doesn't mean you don't get blowback from the force of hitting a solid object. Not surprising Amago's entourage will protect their lord. Also while it hurts lasombara more, blinding your enemy with bright light is still useful regardless. Feels like Theodore and Silas forgot this was a timed mission, stopping to feed. Huh, so Amago did have terminal decree, and you still hold him as dishonorable for giving Drogo that advantage of not ordering him to behead himself. Also that is quite the mercy to Silas to not order him to behead himself. Also that he cleaved Seth in two pretty much confirms Amago is a Prowess from Pain kindred.
These situations with surprise I'm alive are why I find your touchstones require you to fill up by visiting them rule such a bad idea. Dear lord Silas why. Its one thing to break you faked your death its another to go with the I'm super human now, and use so many, near kindred supernatural implications. This is how you get a ghoul, not a touchstone. Yeah, Theodore is talking out his ass with Otta. This is being butt hurt because your side lost in humiliating fashion. Also shows how much Theodore doesn't understand proper Camarilla behavior. Hospitality doesn't protect a Prince from consequences for their action, or from the guest disagreeing with or challenging the Prince. This Chronicle Feels more like a Path of Honorable Accord, Medieval Game than modern humanity. There is nobody who can authorize a blood hunt. Then you get to the actual reason of Amago is inconvenient for the Lasombara and Theodore's boon. Lol, killing Amago and defying Prince Helena is how the domain gets purged by Archons or nobody bothers to care when the SI hits Oxfordshire.
Not much of a chronicle tenant if you can flip it off, without a conviction, when it inconveniences you. Not getting Silas' hatred for Amago. Drogo's inactivity and dishonorable actions, led him to face consequences for his actions and have to face a fight where he couldn't punch down and face an equal. Drogo lost an honorable fight, even if an unfair one, but it was unfair of his own making, or consequences of his own past actions and inactions. Amago swore no oath to Oxfordshire, nor does hospitality require a kindred to act in a way that benefits the Prince. Let alone it is not Oxfordshire's place to enforce the tradition of destruction at their own whim or to make assumptions for the new management. There is also no honor in creatively interpreting, somebody a Prince holds as their champion is not welcome in their domain. This is a plan that also does not protect Oxfordshire, but is an open invitation for Archons to come and purge the city. Rather surprising that Theodore doesn't consider the possibly Amago stayed in Oxfordshire because he wanted to judge for himself if being Helena's champion was a worthy cause, and if Drogo honored the authority and traditions above himself in the Camarilla. Let alone do think if they figured it out a warrior like Amago would not see how Oxfordshire was cheating in bouts of allegedly honorable combat. This feels far more like Theodore is disregarding honor, for the path of what is convenient for him.
Feels like Joanne is having a disassociative break here. Oooff so the Ventrue is off his rocker he thinks Meliore's childe is somebody else. Well that explains a bit why Sabine gave them the snub, when it wasn't just a lack of Tremere, but a removal. Surprising the Herald didn't pull a gotcha, but this chronicle is a lot easier on the drama with the frequent time skips and letting take half be used. That a character can actually get through almost 20 episodes before getting a stain, shows the weakness of not including wanton murder as default stains. The tenants you've ran with also just feel at odds with the Jyhad, since it encourages not challenging the status quo. Oh Seth you are quite the character for this chronicle. Implying Silas only has a workshop to hit and destroy stuff to work out his brujah impulses. Why is a duel being performed in a museum instead of somewhere it doesn't matter if the elders break stuff. Yep send the Elder Ventrue to counter potence 5, with fortitude 5, instead of having the match come down to can Helena lightning strike cripple/decapitate the Prince Drogo, when its possible he diablerized a toreador, and he's shown the ability of animalism to transfer his beast. That is basically the clash between the two primary elder fighting styles, Drogo going the try and quickly win and Amago going with force your opponent to hunger 5 first. Ah so Amago was clearly a Prowess from Pain Ventrue, explains why he didn't try and use shatter, Flesh of Marble, or Majesty. Well question is was Enulf Blood Bound or just a warrior morning one of his last remaining comrades. While I get Theodore's logic, Prince Drogo disrespected the rules of the Camarilla in a spectacular fashion, so he should have expected the Camarilla would substitute in an elder of his caliber to support Prince Helena.
Looks like audio was out of sync for this one. See this is why Ventrue rule, Nos can't even be trusted to keep their financial state in order. If only Jeffery had been given a few more mortal years to grow he might have performed better. Lol, props on Velvet for calling out the games were dishonorable, taking a pin to Silas' ego balloon. Awe Theodore trying to help Soap out and shore up the coterie weakness. Not quite sure what is going on with Joanne's severe social anxiety this episode. Well guess that makes a couple kindred on Velvet's anti-Wallace conspiracy. Not sure where Adam is getting you need permission to leave a domain, especially if you move farther than a horse ride away, for Oxford.
Guess it makes sense if she's still in charge Sabine wouldn't care much for these games, especially given how the Tremere aren't properly represented in Oxford and a Tremere was one of the ones killed, in Prince Drogo's domain violation. Well things may not have ended well for Moses' plan if Plucky Jake is still welcome in London. So essentially the combat rounds of the tournament are more about keeping your team intact enough for the boat race. Yep of course the Malkavian is going to use dementation to harm the will of Oxford's competitors after what happened to to them. Of course Naluto threatens taking Miyuki back, and Theodore finally has chained good rolls. Now trying to cheat further by giving their competitors a Draught power, for shame. A knightly duel and you try and blindside your opponent. A shameful display. I guess that explains the issue with the bagged blood, that she spent xp to go up in BP early. Yep Prince is lost in his head, was a bit early for the Beckoning 50 years ago so I'm still leaning diablerized him. Looks like the Prince might have a parallel with Velvet as well. I guess you must have prerolled some of these hopefully. Now trying to get kindred to sabotage a horse. More shame. Man Plucky Jake disrespecting his fellow Nos cheering for Oxford. Huh Oxford managed to train a horse to use mental disciplines, or cheated and that mount is a kindred or subsumed by a kindred. Honestly surprising Amago hasn't fury frenzied at all these dishonorable displays. Well you blew out your willpower and had to have your side cheat a bit, but you did it.
Man adventures of a low physical Ventrue climbing a roof. Wow, talk your stalker down and then you still go through with its her fault you fell off the roof. Though props on not just convincing her to jump after. You actually wonder how many times that happens to kindred. "I'm here to help you" "Quiet I'm faking my mortal mask's death." Lol, asking somebody's ghoul how you should apologize to their domitor. So they weren't even remotely being careful with having a month off between sessions to stop the bond from increasing. Well that was Denton, in epic fail plot line. Though shows how little she is a proper toreador that she thinks his life is taking everything. When she said he made the wrong choice though I don't think somebody was a Malkavian. Sigh the point of faking your death is for people to believe your dead, not start telling people who aren't blood bound to you surprise. Juicing your childe with a specially prepared kine you want them to drain. That feels rather dishonorable to me. "Sure" drinking to compete satiation isn't serving the Beast. Right. Its things like this why I say murder outside self defense should default qualify as stains, since you're not on humanity or even most paths if that isn't serving the Beast in eroding your sense of self for its desires.
Well guess that explains why Seth is the way he is if he's spent an unlife as his brother in multiple ways knee breaker. I get their strength 1 but medical training on Joanne's part would mean she should know how to lift an injured person with help. Hey Theodore actually realized his ex-domitor was asking for more than a major boon entails. Question as well is did Amalgo have the forethought to put a submerged directive in Miyuki, before letting Theodore take her. Are we sure Joanne isn't secretly a Salubri, going for the offering yourself to be diablerized to try and help somebody else. Let alone just because she says its okay doesn't mean the Cam would view the thinblood as anything but an unauthorized diablerist. Theodore, I've tortured so many people you need to be more specific, when bringing up Eric. Of course we played the coincidence game with somebody else showing up.
