The main problem for me is that the quality is so bad nowadays. The quality is much better and the prices are much lower in luxrul small boutiques. There is just no marketing. When I was a little girl the luxury goods were much better than the cheaper brands.

I bought this at a discount store for $2.99 I would say that is about what it is worth. No need to sharpen, just discard when it dulls, yes it dulls, fairly quickly. The steel is low quality. The handle is also uncomfortably short. If you want one that rarely needs sharpening it is all about the steel, like maxamet. Not a nondescript "stainless" like this "copper" coated knife. But yes $3, fun to try.
