The corruption goes all the way to the top at this (dis)organisation. Complaints dept refuses to deal with my complaint, refuses to provide a copy of the complaints policy and ignores my letters. I bust a xenophobic endocrinologist lying: I have his lies in writing as well as the hospital’s admission he was lying. He then acted maliciously by deliberately breaching the DPA and disclosing my data without my consent to get back at me for busting him. He wrote me highly embarrassing (for him) and unprofessional letters in which he could barely contain his rage at being busted; and he copied my GP on them. The chief exec’s office refuses to answer my query as to why the complaints dept will not deal with my complaint. If you’re going to engage in corruption, don’t whine when you get busted!
Patient exposures to flu last year were higher with vaccinated staff versus mask-wearing, non-vaccinated staff. Take home message--patients at greater risk for flu exposure when encountering a vaccinated employee.
You'll not achieve more than 50% vax rate without mandating HCWs get the flu vax or wear a mask. Before you force your HCWs to make the choice consider this. Post the results of one or more US hospital(s) that performed a retrospective, cohort study looking at relative risk of HCWs--in hospitals mandating get flu vax or wear the mask, that achieved >90% compliance with vaccination rate--calling in sick due to illness (or specifically, influenza) in the masked/non-vaccinated cohort v. non-masked/vaccinated cohort during last year's flu season (or the year before). This helps cuts through all the rhetoric about the flu shot's efficacy, retrospectively only, and your credibility.
A really true hospital collaboration across the whole organisation, well done everyone, Chelsea and Westminster leading the way on arts in health again!
It was fun making it. The message is very important and we are lucky to be able to get this free at work, at a time to suit us. The last time I had flu was 1994 and they weren't doing it then.

Love the video! Really great work. My comment below was sent to the G+ social media forum (where it makes more sense). Looks like I've been out socialed by Google!
Hi Adam, thanks for your positive feedback! To answer your question below, the video is currently featured on the homepage of our website www.chelwest.nhs.uk and also shared via our Twitter and G+ accounts.
Thank you SO much for making this video. I have been freaking out about my gastroscopy on the 11th of December. And like you I couldn't find any reviews or anything that could help me relax about having this procedure. I am also going to be sedated but I'm very worried about the pain when the tube first goes down my throat. How bad is the pain? Xx
Thank you for your kind comments about the video and I’m glad you found it comforting. For advice about your procedure I would suggest you speak with your consultant or nurse directly - hope your procedure goes well. Chelsea and Westminster Communications Department
