I love seeing people's interpretations cause they can be so different and shows how the songs can mean so many things to so many people. Like Alex saying "I Hate it Here" isn't relatable, for me it's the most relatable song on the album haha (and probs in Taylor's discog). Because I've never been in a romantic relationship so don't relate to heartbreak lyrics as much (but still appreciate the artistry of the songs ofc) and being on the autistic spectrum with a perchant for escapism definitely helps with the relatability. Plus the reference to "The Secret Garden" cause as a kid I got obsessed with that book and happened to live near a large botanical garden complex which I used to walk around for hours at a time hunting for the entrance to the secret garden and daydreaming under the shade of trees. I love "The Lakes" too, probs my fav off of Folklore, so Alex connecting those two songs makes perfect sense.
These songs are all Matty Healy except track 5 and the Alchemy, Clara Bow The Anthology is fire only one song about Joe, but it’s 🔥🔥🔥 Love your haircut and color! Great reaction!!
Végre meghallgattam a The Show albumot és igazán drágakő a javából. Ezekhez a dalokhoz Niall hangja a legmegfelelőbb, a legérzelmesebb.
The Manuscript is literally (yes literally) the script for the All Too Well short film. And the years passed Like scenes of a show The Professor said to write what you know Lookin' backwards Might be the only way to move forward (Her giving us the full version of the song/events and even making a short movie about it after all those years just to finally have it all out and move on) Then the actors Were hitting their marks And the slow dance Was alight with the sparks And the tears fell In synchronicity with the score (Literally filming the scenes for All Too Well) And at last She knew what the agony had been for (something good and beautiful came out of it all) The only thing that's left is the manuscript One last souvenir from my trip to your shores Now and then I reread the manuscript But the story isn't mine anymore (Now it's truly out there in the world and it's all ours)
I Hate it Here is my favorite song on the entire album. So incredibly beautiful and it grew on me because I didn't like it when i first listened to it. Thanks for this reaction video, it was a lot of fun to go on this journey with you!
OH MY 😊 I LOVE YOU AND RUNNING TO LISTEN TO YOUR MUSIC! I was literally dying for this album to drop! I wish I could blow your mind, on a private chat… peeps here would argue it, and that’s fine… but I’ve been following Zayn for several years now and have so many thoughts. This album actually crushed me, because of all of the meaning behind his lyrics. Things the gen public are unaware of. If you PM me, I will give you some insight. Much love for this review, you were awesome and I have been dying for a full album review… started watching Steven in Stereos, but need to go back and finish it! 🎉😊
My opinion......From beginning to end he's talking to the fandom and what he has had to endure to date. After the Military we are going to see a vast difference from them and not tolerating the bullshit they receive...hope that works and a cull ensues just leaving true fans behind 😊
I love your reactions. You are open for new stuff and you feel the music and the emotions. This album with the Z sides is a 💎. It's different and special. Zayn created his own genre. Folk-blues-r&b pop country stuff with a nice reminder of 60s and 70s rock. It's not useful to put him in a box. Thank you for this reaction video ❤️
You're really on point on your observations, especially the part where you said the whole theme of the album revolves around RM thinking, "If I don't make the album right now, I would die". He actually mentioned something similar during his listening session with Jimin.
I really appreciate your interpretations because nowadays no matter what the song is people have a habit of over sexualizing things as if sex is the only thing that's important. The interpretations are much more than that. Thank you for the reaction
At the beginning of “Ready for it” the graffiti on the wall says 89 and 91, which are the years of birth for her and Joe… but I think that they are really the years of Matty and Joe (Mattie was born the same year as her)
*EDIT:* to change tone of the comment as per replies I just want to mention this about Travis because I think it’s important. He is dyslexic but actually very astute and intelligent. When he was drafted to the Chiefs he was set for life so he didn't attend his formal graduation and his diploma wasn’t issued in 2012 so was never officially awarded his degree. Alongside his brother Jason, the pair were in Cincinnati to record for a special edition of the podcast and the university arranged a surprise Graduation for them to finally receive their diplomas in 2022. Being dyslexic means that he learns in a different way to how Taylor and most of us do. Rather than by seeing, his brain is wired to learn via listening so whenever he needs to learn a script, like for his 2 SNL monologues, his teammates (Patrick Mahomes usually; he has mentioned this in the past as has Travis) will either read it out loud in person, which also helps his nervousness, or they record it so Travis can listen to it repeatedly and memorise it. On the podcast Travis has said that he listens to a lot of audiobooks as he enjoys learning and ‘reading’, but he also reads actual books using the dyslexia aids like overlays, just more slowly than the average reader. It was kind of disappointing to see on the first TTPD reaction the comment that Taylor made up the line ‘He says it’s heroin but this time with an ‘e’', not Travis. This absolutely could be something he said, his intelligence and intellect are evident in his podcast and playing any team sport at a pro level requires much more than the physical training and matches/games. There are meetings and briefings he attends, and he has to visualise the field layout and plays, then make it into a mental map in 3D. I think us Swifties need to be more considerate of the fact that dyslexia is a recognised disability under laws in many countries, including the USA and UK (where I live). Taylor is passionate about inclusivity in all its forms and I know she expects us as her fans to reflect her own example. Intelligence isn't solely defined as being book smart, so we should remember this too. We all see how _different_ this relationship is to those in the past and much of that is because Travis doesn't work in the entertainment industry as his main career. The Kelce brothers are at the top in terms of career success, and Travis doesn't have the whole 'am I getting work and roles just because I am Taylor Swift's boyfriend?' thing in the background. They are two separately successful human beings who found each other in the cutest way possible. Both goofy, ambitious, driven, wonderful and kind people, they match so well and as a Swiftie beforehand, he knows the public hell she's faced like we do. Let's be the same kind of wonderful human beings and accept the differences that make them work and celebrate for them both being in love.
Yeah I’m gonna be honest in the split second I read back the chat saying that line, I didn’t think anything of it. I’m sure Travis is very intelligent - Taylor wouldn’t date someone who wasn’t. Definitely by no means am I dragging Travis and I shouldn’t have read that joke back from chat.
@@alexray_ I was more directing my comment in a general way to the Swifties who don't know this information than directly so I apologise for sounding rude. I am British and have only watched one game and that was the super bowl. Admittedly I can be oversensitive when it comes to dyslexia because my best friend departed for the Heavens by her own hand after years and years of bullying for her problems with reading. It was the 90s and dyslexia was only just coming up in TV shows and the news as a legitimate 'condition' so unfortunately people like Tara were considered to be below average in IQ not simply needing alternatives to manage the way their brain saw letters on the page. I am behind our beautiful Taylor all the way, I just want to emphasise that I am aiming to make people aware rather than jab. It was like 3 in the morning when I added my comment, my kitten decided that antagonising the dog at 1am was big fun, so sleep eluded me until she chilled out... I could have been more polite myself so I am sorry again. I'll edit it soon to take the unnecessary sharpness out and leave it as an FYI instead.😊
