Remember this next time the two of you are racing going by cars in the lanes next to you , aii it would take is for just one unitive driver to decide to swap lanes with out checking HER MIRRORS and your life can be over in seconds ! So , get right with the LORD NOW while you still have time !
I'm getting a Harley this summer for the first time in my 40 years of motorcycling. I can't understand why anyone would soup one of these up. They're still comically slow. Are these bikes not just for fat old guys to feel noticed (and comfy) while going down the interstate and through town? I guess I just don't understand anyone pouring money into these things to turn them from a 65hp bike into a [still hilariously slow] 100hp bike? That weighs like 900#. Why not just get a true fast bike for when you want to go fast, and a Harley for when you want to be loud and annoying?
Twin cam is like the 350 of Chevrolet. Not too big or too small of engine, reliable, and with some simple mods you can get that horse flying with some bigger cubic inch motorcycles. I love my twin cam 88 superglide. Still make my heart skip a beat when I turn her on.
You can't possibly tell anything by these videos !!! Too much traffic, not even starts etc. Get out in the country and do some equal roll on. And for any smart asses out there, I have professionally raced a bit portion on my life, and I am 62 years old.
The 88 is such a good engine. Seems to be about the right size to rev quick and still make good torque. I know the 96 and up makes more Torque but HP they are dang close
iv got a 06 firebolt here in New Zealand 17000 hard kms org motor ,few switch gear probs ,idicaters and light switches ,remus slip on can that was far from slip on compared to normal sports bikes, some sort of aftermarket ignition kit in it and a tune ,regular oil changes, contis all round ,re valved suspension, great bike and im going to buy another fire-bolt in the new year cause they are getting rare and 2 are better than one firebolt, its fun and fast tho vibes are usual for a harley lump, fucking great bike.
I hate it when people leaved during the middle of the show. That's so rude. I bet they are angry and can't take it anymore coz they can't even turn even if they have a mile radius.
Same thing I heard I hear some people say yes and some say No. I believe it depends how you maintain the bike. I got this one with 3k original miles and was in good shape. So far so good. Dean from @bayarearacing is a Buell fan he he told me they are good. From research I’m assuming certain early models had a lot of issues from the 90’s.
@@JRodzTv It's essentially lightly modified Sportster running gear. Erik asked H-D to make a lighter flywheel to make the bikes more responsive, and their response was, "Why? Our bikes ride fine as is..." That's basically how it went.
Yes they are reliable. Ive had 4 xbs. Only issue was bolts coming loose from vibration. Just keep your battery terminals tights and run synthetic oils. They arent top speed bikes but 0-100 they are plenty fast and handle amazing.
2003 Road King TC88 with 100hp, 110ftlbs torque and I git on the 107s. Really pisses people off when they're still have monthly payments for "their" horse.
Sorry, not too smart trying to show off a slow azz HD( I have a road king, I know) in traffic. Think before you film or ride, this is poor decision making.
I subbed your channel right away.......then I watched 2 dumbfuks ride like assholez on public roads in traffic! What the hell's wrong with you? Did your parents have any kids that lived?
