I have the opposite problem. My BB ZT Elite's brake is really tough to engage. I think I have to do the opposite you did and loosen those two nuts on the rear cable.
Great video! The only thing to worry with filters is the number of Microns they filter out. Most of these machines want 22 microns others have 10 microns. You want to replace 3rd party filters that will equate to the numbers of microns from the manufacturer filter. That way it equates to the pressure needed by the hydro pumps. The Stens filters seem very safe and comparable to manufacturer's! 🙂 Well done!
To release the ratchet strap use the release on the handle, release it and make it flattened out, then pull it backwards. The inner reel will freewheel and you can keep pulling until the strap end comes right out
Great tip. If this doesn't work for anyone, try using this tip, but take the valve stem out before filling it up and just use the end of your air hose to fill it up. You'll get a little more airflow that can end up being what gets the bead set.
@@Kellislawnservice I bought on with no battery and no muffler but I wonder if I can use it with a regular mower battery or does it has to be an AGM battery like the motorcycle battery
It’s much more affordable to replace the bearings, instead of the entire spindle. We keep a set ready to go on backup. Thanks for watching, we really appreciate it 👍
It doesn’t take much for leaks to show themselves on a high pressure system. You’re likely good to go by tightening the fitting. Sometimes vibration over time can back the fittings off just enough to leak. Worst case is a crack in the line but that’s an easy fix to replace by being mindful about connecting to the fuel pump. The key takeaway here is your attention and awareness to notice and address mechanical issues. Inspecting equipment prior to running is the first step in catching problems, and then the action of either addressing and fixing it yourself or hiring it out. Most big problems were small problems that were left to fester. Thanks for the video!
Thank you , we try to stay on top of everything before disaster strikes. It’s been a few days now , and everything still looks good. Thanks for watching, we really appreciate it 👍
They say life’s best lessons are the lessons learned…hopefully your friend learned a lesson here. It’ll take effort…and steel, but it’s fixable. Another great video! Thanks for sharing!
The trailer is salvageable; it's just going to take a ton of time, exposing bare metal, and a good solid welding process. The floor would have to be replaced anyway, so that's the first thing to come out of there in order to really get to that frame. The box might have to come off too 😬
My grandads version of safe was to ash his cigarette before using his Jerry cans. “You don’t need to put it out, just flick it so the ash don’t fall where you don’t want it” he’d say. Man I miss that old boy. Btw you just made your canister 100 times better!
I’m noticing that I’m pretty late to the party on all your videos I’ve commented on but oh well… if you don’t have a peavey for turning logs, go with a plunge cut to cut the bottom portion of the log, and then finish the top cut. By plunging you leave enough meat so it won’t pinch your bar and then you finish with a top cut and you’ll have two halves of the working piece to round out. You still need to be mindful not to bury your bar in the earth. What you did works too if you have the young muscle! Thanks for sharing!
What an awesome review! Especially because I think you’re the only guy on YT who goes over the grass collection system on the bad boy mowers. I’m in the early stages of researching zt mowers to replace my husqvarna riding mower that’s old and worn out…kinda like me. I’m just a Harvey homeowner and I’m looking at the maverick hd unit. It’s likely more tractor than I need, but with the money I’ll be forking over, I’d like it to last longer than the cheaper 3-4year mowers you get these days. Nothing seems to last anymore but I’m thoroughly impressed with the serviceability and quality of the bad boy mowers! Also, I’m in the PNW and our grass is heavy and likely to clog up the collection system as well. It doesn’t seem to be the best design. I may opt for the aluminum side catcher and just deal with having to empty it more often. I have a fairly sizable garden and I use the grass clippings as mulch to keep weeds down and moisture in. The collection system I have on my husqvarna handles the clippings ok but I spend more time than I’m willing to admit unclogging it. Knowing about the likeliness of clogging on the bad boy system almost makes the decision easy for me to get the side catcher and not spend the money the headache. Thanks for taking the time to review the mower and bagging system! Have a good one!
Thanks so much for your input. We have an aluminum grass catcher for our smaller mower , and it works fabulous. They fill much faster, but work well with damp clippings.
Had my first Kawasaki powered machine that wasn't 30 years old and I just love how easily it starts. Sometimes without choke. Briggs I could care less, as they have been incredibly temperamental engines that have failed me more often than I want, Kohler has been better for me on equipment but the engine brand that has yet to fail me is Honda and its clones. What I would love to have is Kubota. A good Diesel engine that is, yes, expensive but more efficient and longer lasting than any gas engine out there.
Doing this on 04 Silverado Z71 need take off brack at top of transmission its really back there someplace. Can see bracket from under truck just need to get a socket on it. Dorman says this line kit fits my truck only I don't have an L shape at end of vent return line its straight so will have to figure out something. Its a great kit though decent quality lines. Local shop quoted $750+ for nylon. $240 for braided stainless and little time.
That sure sounds challenging. There are a lot of adjustments for the hydros also . Hope it works out for you . Thanks for watching, we really appreciate it.
Hi Kelli...question. Does that 1p24 have teeth on both sides of the disk? I saw you backing up and grinding with it so I was surprised. I think you can damage the unit or the pto if you grind going backwards. Just curious. Love your videos! Thx!
Yes it has teeth on both sides and the bottom. They suggest going only in one direction, but as long as the pto shaft doesn’t bottom out against the gearbox I think it cool . Thanks for watching, we really appreciate it 👍
I’m in the process of finding out if it’s both lines or one line! I’m so depressed. Also 02 Chevy Tahoe z71 my first time dealing with this didn’t know this was a known thing
One shock is better than none. Great Video. I have a tilt trailer with a winch to haul my mower on. Taking it off is like a carnival ride. Lol. Cheers.
WOW what a nice Job !!! I know you said before that I can cut back my rhododendron after it blooms but who far can I cut it back without killing it? Someone said I have to wait till with dead of winter to cut it back but only 25 percent.. If you lived closer to Scranton Pa I would Hire you...
@@Kellislawnservice Welcome I am a new subscriber to your RU-vid channel and I did an audit report for your channel and found some issues that I think should be addressed. I think your RU-vid will grow a lot if you solve the problems. I can show you the audit report if you want. Thank you
Far as an apples to apples, just bought a new mower that came with two engine options. The Kawasaki FR691V 23 HP or the B&S 2500 CXi 25 HP, if you took labels off not knowing each brand and did a side by side comparison, everyone would pick the Briggs. That model Kawasaki just looked cheaply built in comparison to that model Briggs.
