@mehmetgokhanertugrul6866, it's a USB C audio interface for recording and you can definitely plug-in any dynamic or condenser microphones that uses XLR cable, plugged-in to the XLR/TRS combo input of the AIR 192x4. If you'll be using a condenser mic, just make sure that phantom power is enabled on the interface. I hope this helps. Thank you for watching! 🙏🏽
For the beginning videographer the GH6 is way more camera than is even needed. And the price point is going to be markedly different between the GH6 today and the GH7 so I will be sticking to my GH6 thank you very much! That being said, given that I have invested heavily in the Panasonic mft lens family, perhaps in two years once the firmware has been updated a few times and the price of the GH7 has dropped, I might go looking for a preowned model ;-))
@jsmdllc, I totally agree with you. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. GH6 is indeed a great camera and more than enough if one is just starting out. Now that a new 3.0 firmware has been released, the GH6 can now film in Arri LogC3 photo style once you preorder the license key for $199.99. Great to know that Panasonic is still updating the camera despite of the GH7's announcement which I think is great and that makes the GH6 a value for money camera in my opinion. I appreciate your comment and thanks for watching the video! 🙏🏽
@jakubplecho8973, I don't have any external monitor except for the iPhone 15 so I can't say. And yes, the app is necessary for the battery percentage to show on the iPhone. Thank you for question and for watching the video!
Question about settings when powered off. If I set this light up with my desired color temp and intensity and then turn it off, when I turn it back on will the settings still be applied? Or will I have to reset?
@raquelsetterlund3965, great question! Your settings will remain and won’t change at all when turning the light back on, even if you don’t power it on for a long time. You can also use the remote control to power it on and change settings, but in order to do this, the light must be on all of the time (it’ll only be on sleep mode). I hope this helps. Thank you for watching and stopping by the channel! 🙏🏾
@8reeb90, if you're referring to the volume of all the channels being reduced whenever you talk, the feature is called ducking. To activate it, simply go to: 'Settings' > 'Advanced' > 'Audio' > 'Processing' and press 'Ducking'. As for the music volume, you just have to lower down the slider (volume) of the channel you're using while speaking. This is good when there's background music playing while you're talking. Hope these help. Thank you for watching! 🙏🏽
@catherinewyrobeck5388, I'm so glad you're enjoying the channel! I appreciate your kind words. 🙏🏽 Thanks so much for stopping by the channel and for watching!
I used to shoot SLOG3 but switched over to PP off and am loving it! For the small cost in dynamic range, I'm rewarded with perfect exposure every time and an image that I need to do nothing to in post. It has sped up my workflow dramatically! Unless I am shooting some high dynamic scene, I am DONE shooting in log. Great video - new sub here!
@RandumbTech, that's great to know! Good for you! Thanks for sharing! As long as you're happy and satisfied with the end result, that's what matters. I appreciate the sub and thank you for watching the video! 🙏🏽
now you can just set it to 1/48 without using variable shutter in the v4 update, and it sounds like we are gonna get real shutter angle in September of '24
Hi! I downloaded your files and checked their metadata, this files aren't actually 4.2.2 chroma subsampling. It seems they have been reencoded from another software because they are showing extra info that shouldn't. Also, the files were renamed. To properly test the footage you should upload the exact file that came from the camera without any trimming or postprocess in any third-party software. That way people can have a real representation of the footage.
@@benitosolomita, yes I hear you. I hope they'll add more features to the Creators' app in the future or better yet include the a6700 to the compatibility list since it shares the same features with the FX30 when talking about the video aspect of the camera.
Why I regret buying the GH6: - I will never use Prores as long as I live. - You have to use the CF Express card, which I can't use with my computer (unless I buy an adapter) - The flip screen makes it much bulkier than GH5 - The screen is smaller, or at least the images on the screen are. Hard to see. Another case for using a monitor -- but that obviates the need for the tilt screen - Uses battery juice like crazy -- stock up on batteries - Has a whole bunch of video style settings I'll never use, frame rates, etc. - It doesn't have 420 8 bit, so I can't match exactly with my GH5s - The dynamic range boost doesn't really do anything for my taste - The super hi-res photo feature sounds cool until you realize you're just going to compress the image anyway, and the regular resolution was just as good without the fuss - Some settings only work with CF Express and SSD. You either get a big CF express card/be diligent about wiping it, or you shoot to the SSD -- which better be big -- and is bulky, so you have to take it off to put the camera away - A cage (or at least, a cold shoe mount) is necessary if you want to use an SSD - The buttons are smaller and looser -- the joystick requires two bumps, which seems to be a feature, not a bug; I've done more accidental shutter presses on the GH6 than on other cameras
@neddanison9202, wow that's a long list and more than mine. 😂 I'm in the same boat with the dynamic range boost and super hi-res photo features. Thank you for sharing and for watching the video! 🙏🏽
The Sony's advantage seems to be the Creator's App, which allows you to receive the image on an iPad and perfectly manage the focus with an assistant with a lens that of course works in autofocus or manual mode with an internal motor, so there's no need to add an external motor. I can't find the Panasonic equivalent anywhere.
@_jonkent, I haven’t tried, and I don’t think you can. Sorry Jon I have no definite answer, just a wild guess. I appreciate you asking and thank you for watching the video! 🙏🏾
@belongersurf, I haven't tried other battery brands so I can't say, but I can confirm that this charger works with the Sony OEM battery.👌🏾I appreciate your question and thank you for watching the video! 🙏🏽
A solution to also see the battery life is to download the creators app to see the battery life left on the camera if the life of it is not visible when using a third party battery. I guess sony wants us to their original battery.
You are what you master. All the GH line require mastery, as most cams do. The GH6 LOOKS like a machine (points right there, LOL) But yes... The FX30 is very pretty. That 5.7k on the gh6 makes a HUGE difference though! Sooo yes, you just lost some detail.
@amirleon996, yes I totally agree with you. 👌🏾 And I can attest to that from using the GH2 all the way to the GH6. Tried these cameras extensively. These are the tools for the job. And no doubt the GH6 is a beast of a camera and there’s no discounting that, unfortunately the FX30 in the type of filming and work I do best suits my needs instead of the GH6. But I understand your sentiment and where you’re coming from. I appreciate your thoughts and thanks for watching the video! 🙏🏾
@rvcproductionsgalapagos2045, you're very welcome! I'm so glad the video was helpful. Have fun filming with your FX30 and thank you for watching the video! 🙏🏽
@AliBlueway, did you slow down your footage? This tutorial is meant for a slow-motion footage. Did you try moving it 1 or 2 frames? Hope it'll work this time around. 👌🏾Good luck!
I went yesterday to Bicknell Indiana, the most remote town I could find that was directly under the path of totality. I was running late due to traffic, watching the clouds completely surrounding me, fully aware that the next one isn't for 20 years... and I made it on time and it was clear. It was incredible! The clouds turned out to just be high-level so a bit of an optical illusion from a distance and I had the starting time an hour off for the location. When I saw your video and the clouds my heart sank because I was racing them and the time yesterday and the stress level was INTENSE. Still, awesome footage. Until the next one...
@Nefville, wow that's awesome and good for you that you see it clearly. Thank you for sharing! It was an amazing experience and surreal at the same time, especially when it went dark. It was my first time witnessing it and it was totally worth it setting up the camera just to get the shot. Because of the clouds, I sometimes miss where the sun's location was. Had to often check my framing lol. Overall, an amazing experience nonetheless. I appreciate you watching the video and thank you again for sharing your experience. 🙏🏽
Hey. Should I buy 2x SL60w ..one for a key light and one for a fill light?.. Could I use one of them as a key light as it is and the other one with a soft box cover? Cheers
@MichalFornalczyk, yes, you definitely can, just add a parabolic softbox for a softer light, and you can lower the intensity of the fill light since the SL-60W is bright. I have mine set at 100% for my key light and I have a parabolic softbox to control it. It's my main light up to this day and I haven't upgraded yet since it still works. The only drawback if you have two of these is that they will both take up too much space. If space is limited I highly recommend the Neewer NL-288A as a fill light and pair it with a softbox and you'll be set. You can keep one SL-60W as your key light. I did a DIY softbox for the Neewer NL-288A and here's the link if you'd like to check it out. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-_wS8G6FHzdg.html I hope this helps. Thank you for watching and for your question! 🙏🏽
@halimrahman, that’s a great idea and I appreciate it. I can’t promise anything, but I’ll see what I can do. Thanks for stopping by the channel and for watching the video!👌🏾🙏🏾
@Greacher, I'm not sure about Canon cameras, especially EOS M since I don't have one. Maybe I think, the requirement is a Canon cinema camera and that's why the EOS M is not showing up? As per Joel Famularo's website, Phantom LUTs work on C-Log for Canon cinema cameras. Although there are no rules as to why you can't use Phantom LUTs using other cameras. As long as you film in LOG then you can apply it to the footage. Sorry, I have no other answer to your question. I hope that you'll be able to find a solution the soonest. Thanks for watching and for stopping by the channel. 🙏🏽
@claudiiiiiiii, yes, the front camera since I didn't have a monitor at the time of filming this video.👌🏾😀Thanks for asking and for watching the video! 🙏🏽
Just got the iPhone 15 pro and was wondering if it would make decent replacement/fill in for my Sony Zv-1f. This video helped thanks! Keep up the good work!
@GoldenLion-tt7nh, you're very welcome! Your iPhone 15 Pro is more capable than my iPhone 15 since it can shoot in Apple LOG, which I don't have haha... It's a very capable camera most especially when it comes to autofocus. It's almost as good as the Sony ones, particularly the FX30. I was blown away by its autofocusing capabilities. Have a blast creating videos with your iPhone 15 Pro! I appreciate your comment and thank you for watching the video! 🙏🏽
