Jose Rivera is an artist located in the Orlando, Florida area. Inspired by nature and the human body, he combines different art styles and mediums to create art pieces with a touch of fantasy. His use of color and form is heavily influenced by the world around him. Being born and raised in Puerto Rico, Jose began to immerse himself with art from a very young age.
In 2006, Jose received an Associate’s Degree in Computer Animation from Full Sail University. After noticing the importance of a traditional arts background in the digital age, he began to pursue a self-taught skill set in traditional arts.
Through his art, he likes to inspire people to look at art as an emotional investment by the creator and by the audience. His focus is on what connects us to each other and the world around it with some mystical influences. Although acrylic is his most commonly used medium, he enjoys using different mediums raging from watercolor, clay, and even make-up!
@@JoseRiveraArtVideos I have recently come to know this. That is so strange but fascinating. So they do fine whether they're in a swamp or even in a snowy climate. I'm planning to get some and I'm in New York.
Thank you, I purchased several potted plants which two of them happen to be Bald Cypress. I now know what to do to them since I did not have the ideal place in my yard to plant them. Wonderful, detail instructions! Again thank you!
Great video! I have a bald cypress I need to do something with. It's about 5 ft tall and already had cypress knees coming out of the pot. The pot is maybe 7" tall and round. I may get brave enough to try this after watching more videos. Thanks for the info.
Thanks for sharing your drawing of small objects at what feels like 10 feet away. If only they made something that would allow you to zoom in to the subject..........this is crap video
This is really good work. I like the way you use color and light against the really saturated black background. The cool blues used as light sourcing are really effective. Awesome 😊👍 -Best of luck on your art and your channel, and much support from one artist to another. Liked and subbed.
Your mat looks fine, Jose....Wow. Nice job. Both were good but you can tell you have even more years of experience as an artist with the newest one. Brighter colors were nice, as well.
Jose, this was an awesome Darth Maul. Very, very, cool. Total awesome sauce. Gotta admit, I'm a Star Wars nerd....proud of it....but mostly before Disney bought it. I don't even count their stuff as part of the SW saga. You did a great job on this. Do you do Comic Con, too?
Yeah, some of the new stuff feels very different from the classic Star Wars stuff! I have been to a few local conventions! Not as Darth Maul because the makeup would probably melt off!
Look at how beautiful you use those pencils. It is amazing. The shading is awesome. Your talent is, too. This is stunning. You have a lot of cool stuff going on at your RU-vid home. I also wanted you to know I liked the video of you painting with your niece. That was fun.
