Hi, I'm Sacha! I'm testing out my kitchen skills, sharing vegan recipes as I tackle different plant-based dishes and of course exploring the delicious world of vegan cakes! Also sharing a glimpse of our life as a plant-based family living in Quebec. Thanks for visiting!
My suggestion for thicker cream cheese frosting is to use vegan butter 🧈 in stick form and also add a few tablespoons of flour to the frosting. 😊 the cookies and cake look really good though, wish I could taste test it for you 😂🥰😋
Oh good suggestion!! Thank you, I'll try it out next time! I made my carrot cake recipe after this one and changed up the frosting a bit and it worked out a bit better but will try flour next time! Thanks!
OMG the sugar mishap! 😂😂😂 So impressed with how you handled that. I have been dying to try a baked cheesecake for a while now. Definitely adding this to the list! 🤩🤩
Haha! I thought it was so funny too because I had it measured out and sitting right there in front of me and some how still missed it! Glad I was able to save it. This one is certainly worth trying out, super good! 😊
How about a vegan Chantilly cake or a just a vegan cake with fruits inside I made a a cake with blueberries inside with strawberry jam it was delicious I want to do it again but add more fruits into it
So, the stems are pretty tough (very fibrous) to eat raw but my understanding is that you can cook them up and that'll make them easier to eat. So blanch and then sauté or add into a stir-fry or soup.
