Hey, howdy-do everyone, my name is Michael and welcome to The Doot Corner, where I do the doodles for practice and fun, as well as design projects, animations, and much more!
I am a design student and soon to be practicing in animation after I graduate in a few months. I hope you enjoy and learn with me as this channel catalogs my growth and progress as a designer, artist, and animator.
If you want to contact me, the best way to do so would either be in a comment on a video, or by the submission forums on my website. I promise no speedy results but I'll do my best.
Relatable, last time when I had this problem of correction hell without direction. My conclusion was I should have stepped back, looked up reference or a 3d posing program so I would know towards what to correct to.
Your krita version might be out of date. It's got better audio support now. I suppose the support for syncing audio was added 6 months ago, after you published the video. Tho I doubt there is anything to be done about the lag. Or for the lack of camera in the program.
Yeah Krita needs a LOT of work in the animation department, but i believe it'll eventually get there. In time. It's a bit of a shame because it's such a phenomenal drawing and painting program.
Just remember, that sometimes restrictions are there to teach you something too. If you go in ignoring or deliberately deciding to discard or ignore "rules" or "restrictions" of a project, then you don't learn how to work within limits. In the real world, when a creative director or animation director sets out rules for a shot, scene or overall project, those can't just be ignored, discarded or changed just because you think its dumb. You'll have to motivate WHY you went in another direction. So just keep in mind when you do go out into a working studio or even freelance for clients, someone has thought about the restrictions (mostly) and has put them there for a reason. When you're doing your own thing, by all means, fill your boots and go crazy. But working for clients, they won't necessarily appreciate you ignoring their briefs.
Thank you for choosing our music and taking the time to share this video! we are happy to see that our content has been helpful to your work. looking forward to more great content from you in the future!
Awesome job on this art dude! Looks great, Zestial has been an interesting character so far, I look forward to learning more about him considering he hasn't done much so far. Particularly interested on the circumstances of his death and how that effected his appearance in hell. Also I appreciate how you added commentary to your speed drawing, a lot of people seem to only add music, which is fine nothing wrong with that. But I enjoy that you went the extra mile and shared your thoughts. Keep up the good work!
Thanks a bunch! Zestial would be great to see more of and I don't know how much he's going to come into play but he's so very fascinating. I'll keep doing my best, I'm glad you enjoyed!
I was so surprised you used Krita (I used Krita for a good chunk of time, but it kept crashing and had audio problems, so I gave up on animation for like a few months) so this really shows how well you did! I hope to see more videos from you!!!
Thanks, Krita's definitely not the winner for animation. I'm surprised I made it as long as I did, but it seems to be okay for little stuff as long as you don't want audio.
