i mean glass breaker is good for cars and ice fishing and one on your wrist is a good idea mainly for cars, but hey a small handcuff key hidden in plain sight might not be a bad idea
I'm weaker than a newborn baby so I had to use the flat end of a meat tenderizer as a hammer to bend the prongs of the fork 😂 And I'm not sure if my fork is too small or I bent too much of it to stay in the latch, but I had to substitute the fork handle with a small black-point screwdriver I found lying around and it still works like a charm 👌 Canada is the last place I expected to have to do this in lol, thanks!
I use the dragontail Tenkara double tapered float line and I cut it to rod length. Tie some mono level line with a nail know and attach the tippet ring or micro swivel at the end. Works great!
Hello, im looking to get my first flyrod. I'm torn between getting a 5wt or a 6wt. Realistically theres probably going to be mostly trout in the waters im fishing, but theres also bass (all types including striped) and even steelhead around me. I just dont know where to start.
Yes a good bit of kit, bit bulky but will do loads in one hit. Only critisism is its size.. I dod not get all the pots and pans as i have others from trangia and bcb crusader systems that will fit.
Have you ever watched meadowlark adventure gear youtube channel. He makes bamboo bows but professionally and he sells too but he uses bamboo as a belly and back. So the bow supports it self under compression and tension.
Bamboo might not be the best for long term but in a survival situation it’ll work like a charm in a pinch, especially if you make it slatted with another piece running opposite on the other side. It’ll have stronger compression
