I love my Aquatru and especially for my cat - it’s important especially for male cats to have purified water to prevent urinary blockages. (Vet told me this years ago)
Would you show us how to adjust the water temperature! I followed the instruction but the but it seems the up arrow or down arrow button not really activated after being press and hold down for longer than 3 seconds as it said!!!

Apparently there are preservative chemicals on reverse osmosis membrains that can cause cancer and infertility! I've read that you really need to flush them. But does that really help.
Could you please respond to the person who posted the comment I"m posting below? Or respond to this comment please. Thank you! Minerals in the water are not about nutrition. It's about osmotic pressure. Osmotic pressure is a real thing. I would be fine with him saying that there is enough particulate matter left in the water so there is no concerned but that's not what he said. He was talking about pure water. People shouldn't drink distilled water because of the effect of osmotic pressure on cells.

Ironically India just banned RO water systems in some settings. Research has shown drinking soft RO water does decrease magnesium and calcium in the bones as it also lack bicarbonates. Food cooked in RO water also has less nutrients. Do a proper search on Research Gate. RO water is not natural and it tastes like shit. Every natural source of water on this planet has tons of minerals. You don't need a degree to realize that.
Globalist clownfish probably FDA. Your body can DEFINITELY use the minerals and you can DEFINITELY feel the difference. Raw RO water depletes available minerals like distilled water - so you DEFINITELY can feel the difference so this guy is either a clown or a con. Remineralize your water - and you will thank me later 😎
Here’s what I know, I drank pure RO for several days once and I felt awful. Restless legs, fast heart beat, palpitations, trouble sleeping etc. Switched back to regular water and I was fine. RO definitely reduces electrolytes in the body.
I am surprised you didn't highlight the presence of aluminum in the "filtered" sample that was not present in your unfiltered sample. -- This was also found in the testing done by BOS Water (on youtube) where both AquaTru Classic and Carafe introduced AL into the filtered samples. This seems a little to coincidental to be a fluke... which is disappointing since aluminum is highly neurotoxic
I have also been concerned abaout this- but I found that Modern Castle, Water Filter Guru and some cat lady didnt find any aluminium added to thiers. So not sure what to make of it!
@bryansmalls6448 I have. They actually gave a really good response. It was quite lengthy. I can try post it all in here. "Hi, Frankly, anyone can have their water tested-from home tests they do themselves to hundreds (thousands?) places you can send your water for testing. But of what quality is the testing and to what widely accepted standards? The California EPA specifies a choice of four laboratories to qualify for certification: NSF, WQA, IAPMO, and UL. We chose IAPMO (International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials) because it offers the best customer service and the shortest lead time. IAPMO is an independent testing laboratory whose mission is to protect the public and continually improve the safety, performance, and reliability of plumbing and mechanical systems. This is the accepted standard for comparison of water purifiers used by consumers, industry groups, as well as the EPA. Every water purifier that is certified to remove contaminants will have a Performance Data sheet. AquaTru has been tested and certified to remove 83 contaminants by IAPMO (International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials) throughout the recommended filter life to the NSF Standards 42, 53, 58, 401, and P473 for the reduction of the substances listed in the Performance Data sheet. Part of the certification to NSF standards by IAPMO is to ensure all parts are safe for water contact. For example, to be certified by IAPMO, the filters have to go through extraction testing, which is a way to test to see if the filters leak any toxins into the water. The extraction testing standard is created by NSF to ensure we meet FDA limits as well as the strict California Prop 65 standard. Anyone can post any test results online, but we rely on the industry standard, NSF testing, and certification protocols. There is no aluminum used in our filters. This sheds serious doubt on any claimed test results regarding aluminum being added to the water. And apart from the filters... There are no aluminum parts in AquaTru"

I am in TX. The city water has a 250 TDS. What do you recommend? Would like double digit tds. Water spots everywhere. I don’t mind salt but I would prefer to do away with that if possible
There's really not enough info here to make an informed recommendation. TDS is a very broad measure, sort of like saying you have 250 money. Is it dollars? Quarters? Pesos? We always recommend testing to tell you what is actually in the water so you can treat what you want to treat.
So the one made entirely in the USA is the most expensive… makes no sense. It should be cheaper if it was truly manufactured and assembled in the US. Our free market is a scam.
I use a Britta filter for my ice. If I fill the ice trays with filtered water I get ice cubes that are totally clear. Tap water it’s a hazy cloudy soft looking mess.
"less than 1% of the total water used ... is consumed" You haven't seen my wife's plant obsession. How would you factor irrigation before sunrise? I'm thinking 15% consumed and the rest evaporated or drained.
