I'm so glad I got to see this shit live when they toured with Type O Negative. It was in a pretty small club and their sound was crushing. That Monotheist album was just a masterclass of heavy and it made for such a good live show.
I saw that show in Seattle at the Off Ramp, a little 200 person bar that was featured in the movie 'Singles' as where all the grunge bands got that start, and that I saw tons of small bands at in the 90s, etc.. Crazy to think that a band of CFs status, who influenced everyone and hold up today better than about any other metal band, only played a 200 person club in Seattle. The American metal scene is so limp.
Saw them in Seattle on that tour at the same little club featured in the movie 'Singles' that Soundgarden and all those folks played at. It was a lot of sound for a few hundred person venue.
@@briggscharleton6139 I find the question interesting though - as a regular listener of Black Metal you should know, that Fenriz refuses to play live since ever... :D
Thanks! :) No, first of all, I do not apply more than stays on the record itself and furthermore, I sealed everything beneith with silicone - so no liquid can really run into the unit.
interesting unit... honestly neat BUT I will stick with my > hand clean > rinse and dry > I can still get` any record cleaner than any device <<< ` love the M&M container inside
I've listened to pretty much every band that is considered ultra-heavy. Ranging from Brutal Death, Bestial Black, Death/Doom, Grindcore....but none of those are as heavy as this motherfucker. This song makes me feel like i´m being dragged to Hell and being pulverized. No band will ever out heavy CF's performance at Wacken or anywhere for that matter. This is exactly how metal should sound. Slow, extremely heavy, dark as fuck, and inaccessible.
I could not have put this any better. That song at that particular concert was probably the heaviest and darkest thing I ever experienced at a live concert!
@@alphatrianguli-ch Oh! So you watched them at this performance? Lucky guy! Can't imagine what it was like when they played. Especially this song. I wish that more bands regardless of style would aim for a dark, raw, and heavy approach. When I hear bands from the extreme genres that have a production job that is squeaky clean it makes me wanna puke. Metal was never meant to sound like an overproduced piece of garbage. As for the song, it is one of my most favorite ones. Everything I love about metal in one place.
