Intention is to provide a community and resources that revolves around being Patients & Caregivers Partners. However, my debut will focus on theNextAdventure. Me as the patient battling lymphoma.
Please be patient with me as I learn and heal. -Jen
God bless you. I strive to be as calm and collected as you. I have nothing but major depressive disorder, but I'm trying. We have the same haircut. ❤🎉😂
Your energy is so great! ❤️ What did you do for the itchy skin? I have that now. Finished chemo and surgery. Everything went well. But I have the itchy skin.
Thanks. Remember, I only need to keep it up for 1 minute with you. However, overall, I am a high energy person. So, I"m feeling low energy for me... Dr office recommended Claritan for skin itch. So far, I do the following (in attempt not to introduce more chemicals to my system.) Slather on the creams (aquaphor, amlactin, etc...), shower every other day, muscle through... The skin could be a reaction to the herceptin/perjeta or residual from chemo.... Not sure any of this helps. Please check with your medical team for guidance. Be well, Jen
All of my nails on both hands are lifted half way down. My big toenail on the left. I had no idea this was even a thing after chemo! I definitely need to paint mine as well. ❤
After your first diagnosis of Breast Cancer, did you have a lumpectomy or a mastectomy? I'm interested in knowing how and why it reoccurred in the breast again.
Bi-lateral mastectomy. I'm in the lucky 1%. Here's my breast cancer story: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wzuS3P4A1O0.html Be well, Jen
"God has made everything beautiful in its time, he has also put ETERNITY into man's (and woman's🙂) hearts"-Ecclesiastes 3:11,your vibrance for life is inspiring to myself and other survivors, thank you for sharing!
Jen said in her daily short that she would do a quick video on it, she saw your question, but she documented two of the four here on her channel. I believe she has mentioned it in one of the early videos of this second breast cancer. But that was over 300 days ago, so I can't give you which one exactly. Keep an eye on her shorts!
Excellent! Loved hearing your thoughts on what choice do we have? ... and am I doing this for someone else? Hopefully helping someone else in that way. 👍. 🌺😁✨. Have a wonderful day!
Glad you enjoyed my shared thoughts. Sometimes reframing helps us accept our reality. In this journey, our attitude and thoughts are the only thing we truly have control over. Tomorrow will be a better. Be well, Jen
Did the Dr say more about the fluid? Do you have to have it drained? You look good ... Thanks for the smile this morning. Will have a better day now! 😁
I had the fluid before with implants. I think it is mostly a body reaction to all the trauma. For now, they want to wait for body to deal with it. No medical intervention. Glad my smile can help brighten your day. Be well, Jen
Thanks; lovely of you to say. I removed my port for radiation; had trouble placing IV and decided to try injection for remaining treatments. For skin during treatment, I used Aquaphor and Strata XRT. Be well, Jen
I’m just curious did you not do any research on chemo alternatives? I don’t see why anyone would volunteer for this harmful poison which transfer cancer from one part of the body to another making it useless plus the damage to all your other organs. Hair, the Bible says your hair is your glory? Were you aware chemo goes against Gods word? Should have done keto, apricot kernels ( the seed in the seed) , Fenbendozol ivermectin and many other cures with not a single side effect.
Overall, it was easier than chemo. My skin was definitely burned and uncomfortable but overall pretty healthy. I was exhausted.I use Aquaphor about week 3; I started using Strata XRT. About a week after treatment, I started using Amlactin and then Aquaphor on top. Hope this helps. Be well, Jen
I had to have my port removed for radiation so they had to put in an IV every infusion. One infusion a couple of months ago; it took them several tries to get an IV so I decided to try injections. Phesgo, sometimes burns a bit going in but only for a few minutes (nothing like neulasta) and sometimes I get a sore on my thigh but it dissipates in a few days. My most recent treatment did not cause any pain after injection. Be well, Jen
