Just completed the Spider ride (got from my hobby shop at 1/2 price) and converted it to a Disney ride (I have a Disney layout). Instructions and parts were terrible and it runs very noisy as well. Looks pretty good though.
As a newbie in this sort of thing, how do you wire the battery? What gauge wire is it? I am having a hard time finding a proper connector for the tiny wires they included.
Brings back memories. I eventually painted my boat for the second time after a few cracks started to appear, cleaned it up like new, replaced the prop and exhuast and added a new smoked windshield. Looked killer but eventually sold it when I stopped going to the lake, too many kids getting in the water. I think I paid $300 new and sold for $180. Still haven't found a new boat Im happy with and I only go fiberglass now. ABS tends to yellow and crack just sitting in my garage.
that electric engine sure make all the difference, running my old gp boat it is really a task , make sure after all that you have the conditions to swim.
